- Please Don’t Let the Woman in Front of Me Cry - My Yandere Subordinate and the Three Idiotic Magical Girls Should Stay Out of My Way
- Chapter 22 - Unexpected Encounter
Before the armed underlings of the Boss appeared a beautiful lady in a black dress.
The underlings opened the door and invited the lady inside.
Despite the tension in the air, they calmly conducted a body check.
After confirming she was unarmed, one of the underlings asked her what she wanted.
“I have someone I wish to meet.”
Following that, she detailed the physical characteristics of the Boss over a long period.
The underlings were terrified. After all, the Boss was someone who rarely spoke about himself.
A person who knew such detailed features of the Boss had to be on the same level as him, if not higher.
Some even speculated whether she might be the Boss’s wife.
Moreover, all the underlings were well-versed in combat, living in the underworld as they did.
Yet, even they couldn’t find any openings in the lady’s defense.
There was even a certainty that if they harbored any intent to kill the lady, they would be killed without a doubt.
The question arose whether it was okay to let this extraordinary lady meet the Boss, but the underlings were helpless.
Only the Boss could deal with someone like her.
Eventually, one of the underlings guided the lady to the Boss’s room.
Upon reaching the door of the Boss’s room, the underling who had escorted the lady immediately turned on his heel and left.
An unbearable tension was present there.
Both the underlings and the Boss inside the room and the empress standing outside were aware of each other’s presence.
Without knocking, the empress opened the door and entered the room.
The Boss was seated on a sofa with a Subordinate-sama standing by his side.
Upon seeing the subordinate, the empress momentarily emitted a sharp killing intent.
However, she quickly calmed herself and chuckled with a “Ara Ara.”
The subordinate and Boss were momentarily unable to breathe after being subjected to a murderous aura as if the hellfire was scorching them, but they quickly regained their composure.
Sitting gently on the sofa opposite Boss was the Empress.
“It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”
She spoke to Boss in a frank manner.
“It has been a long time.”
The boss replied humbly.
The subordinate watched this scene unfold with astonishment, fear, jealousy, and other emotions.
“For now, shall we make some tea?”
As Boss suggested this, the subordinate quickly moved to prepare the tea.
However, the Empress stopped her.
“How about it? I would like to drink tea brewed by you for a change. After all, you used to make tea for me back in the day, didn’t you?”
The Empress conveyed this to Boss.
The subordinate felt a moment of suspicion but waited for Boss’s move.
With a word, “Understood,” and a smile, Boss quickly headed to the pot.
“There’s no need to hurry now.”
The Empress followed Boss with her eyes while the subordinate watched cautiously.
Boss prepared the tea and presented it to the Empress.
“Thank you. I’ll enjoy it.”
The Empress said with a smile and took a sip of the tea.
Then, she chuckled elegantly.
Boss was sitting on the sofa.
The Empress, holding her tea, gently stood up.
The subordinate took a half-step closer to Boss.
Ignoring this, the Empress approached Boss and stood before him.
Then, she poured the tea she was holding over the top of Boss’s head.
The subordinate reached for her pistol, but Boss calmly stopped her arm.
The Empress looked at them and laughed as if she was truly enjoying the moment.
“….Boss, please let go.”
The subordinate glared at the Empress with sharp eyes.
“Please, let’s calm down for now.”
Boss said.
Amidst the escalating tension, Boss was convinced that today was the second biggest crisis of his life.
