"I Wanna Fondle Them Too" (Oppai Momitai) - V2 Chapter 35 & 36
"Please support me on Ko-fi! Thank you!"
Chapter 35
On The Way Home
On the way back from the park where they had a sweet time together.
“Sorry! I have something I can’t miss!”
Natsuhiko did his best to apologize to Miko for missing their weekly fun event, the date.
The one errand he just couldn’t miss was going to a part-time job with Souji.
Miko shook her head as Natsuhiko frantically joined his hands together.
“You don’t have to apologise.”
“Miko-chan…”
“It’s not like I’m making a rule that we have to go on a date on your day off, Right?”
Rabbits were said to die if they were lonely, but Miko, another small animal type, seemed to be able to live even if it lacked love for a day or two.
“Oh. But you know what?”
“What?”
“I just wanted to hear your voice for a minute after your errand is done…”
“!”
“I’d like to call you for 10 minutes, no…just 5 minutes. Can I…?”
Miko, who was shyly urging him to do so, might be a rabbit after all.
“Yes, of course you can! Call me for an hour or five! If you want, let’s do it now!”
Natsuhiko may be an idiot. He seriously started taking his phone out of his pocket.
“Can we just have a normal chat now?”
Miko giggled, and he finally came to his senses.
Natsuhiko thought it was impossible for him to be offended or blamed, but he was relieved when she made a request like that.
“Are you going out somewhere?”
“Eh, oh, … y-yeah!”
“???”
The reason why Natsuhiko’s voice turned inside out.
“You get it now? So don’t ever tell anyone about this, okay?”
Because he was threatened by Souji.
If he told Miko that he was going to a part-time job with Souji, there was a big chance that Kanade, with whom she was very close, would get the news too.
“Don’t let Kanade know, okay?”
One way to do this would be to tell Miko secretly.
However, it was difficult to sleep with a secret. But it was bad for Souji, who trusted him and told him his secret, even if not voluntarily.
Therefore,
“Just a little bit, I’ve got some business to attend to!”
“Is that so?”
“Yes, it is! Haha! Hahahaha!”
Natsuhiko chose to deceive her.
If Kohaku was here, she would be so annoyed that she would smack his head saying, “What’s so funny?”
However, there was no way that Miko could have said, “Natsu-kun, what are you laughing at?”
“I see…”
She was curious about the nature of his business, but she assumed that Natsu-kun had his own reasons, so she kept her doubts to herself without inquiring too deeply.
(Miko-chan looks so sad…! I want to spoil her so bad…!)
Natsuhiko was tormented by her reserved attitude, and he was tempted to expose the secret to her.
It would not be a secret forever. He forced himself to stuff his guilt deep inside, thinking that he would be patient until Souji gave Kanade the gift, and till that time came, he would have to endure it. And he would focus on what he can do now.
“Festival!”
“What about the festival?”
He wanted to reassure her and please her as much as possible.
Natsuhiko clasped Miko’s hands and vowed,
“I’m definitely going to the Minato Festival next week with Miko-chan! Whatever it takes!”
The Minato Festival was the biggest summer festival in the city where Natsuhiko, Miko and their friends lived.
It was the date that Natsuhiko and Miko had always promised to go together.
“I’ll definitely give priority to our summer festival date that day. Even if I get hit by a dump truck, even if I have an incurable disease! Even if a meteorite hits me directly, I’ll definitely go!”
He was so engrossed that he messed it up. The statement was so over the top that Miko even forgot to cross the pedestrian crossing and kept her big eyes open.
And then…
“Pfft…! Hahahaha!”
“Mi, Miko-chan?”
“If a meteorite fell on us, we wouldn’t have time for summer festivals!”
Miko laughed out loud holding her stomach, and Natsuhiko was amused by her very serious remark.
The pampered Miko clung to Natsuhiko’s arm. She generously rubbed her cheeks against Natsuhiko’s chest and arm.
“Ehehe… I’m so relieved.”
“Relieved?”
“I thought that I was the only one looking forward to the festival! But I’m relieved that you’re looking forward to it too.”
“!!!! Of course! I’m looking forward to it!”
If Miko smiled at him, Natsuhiko’s smile would be contagious. Returning to their usual light steps, the two walked together through the green light.
Natsuhiko thought again.
I want her to smile all the time.
Chapter 36
Bittersweet Part Time Debut
Holiday. In other words, a day when Natsuhiko and his friend worked part-time.
Although forced to work by Souji, Natsuhiko, on his part, was looking forward to this day.
It wasn’t because he was a Masochist or he couldn’t stop gambling in an underground workhouse.
It was his first part-time job in life, his contribution to society, and his duty to work.
That meant he was one step closer to becoming a man worthy of Miko.
Short-sighted, perhaps high school students’ thinking. However, “working for money” was not possible during compulsory education, so he wanted to take the initiative and give it a try.
It was also a great way to simply enrich your wallet.
Miko had already told him that she didn’t mind a Reasonable Date, but as a boyfriend he still wanted to be tall and good looking. He would like to take her to an aquarium or amusement park, as well as to a summer festival for various delicious street foods and trendy sweets.
Even though love cannot be bought with money, it took more than a little money to nurture love. Life was hard.
Therefore, Natsuhiko was getting ready to work.
As a staff of a large leisure pool. That was exactly what’s Natsuhiko’s part time job
There was a wide variety of pools, including a flowing pool, a super giant bucket, an athletic zone, and waterslides, with 10 lanes of five different types. There were also natural lawns and a beach that imitated the ocean, so lovers could come together and flirt as much as they liked.
The leisure pool would like to have the help of high school students as well as the help of cats. Natsuhiko, who had never had a part-time job before, was hired immediately.
Natsuhiko was assigned the job of receptionist for the rental of floatation rings, beach balls, and other items.
Under a sultry outdoor tent, dressed in sea pants and a staff T-shirt, they continued to work hard, going from one place to another.
As of right now, they were still serving a couple of ladies in swimsuits.
“T-thank you very much! Float rentals are here!”
Was he nervous that it was his first part-time job?
Or was he just a bit nervous about the ladies in swimsuits in front of them?
I guess it was both.
Just because you were willing to work, it didn’t mean you can work smart.
The model-type lady on the right and the lolita-type lady on the left were too dazzling to look directly at.
“Is this your first time working part-time?”
“Y-yes! It’s my first time!”
“Relax and good luck♪”
“T-thanks, I’ll—”
The two ladies giggled and laughed as they walked along the side of the pool with the floats in their hands.
(I-I’m a virgin and I’m ashamed of it….!)
Natsuhiko was so embarrassed that he wanted to abandon his work and go to the waterfall under the giant bucket.
Serving customers full of girls in swimsuits might be too much for Natsuhiko, who was making his part-time debut.
It couldn’t be helped. Because he was a virgin.
Meanwhile, Souji, who also worked next door, is
“Onii-san~, inflate this beach ball… please♪”
“There’s an electric pump, please use it.”
“I don’t know how to use it.”
“Then I’ll do it.”
“You’re doing it for me! How kind of you~!”
“I’m a staff member. Also, I think I’m younger than you.”
“That’s because I don’t know your name. Oh, yeah! Let’s exchange LINE”
“Have fun at the pool”
“Go get it, Pochi” saying Souji softly served an inflated beach ball. The ball made an arc slowly and landed with pinpoint accuracy in an empty swimming pool. He should have done this in a gymnastics volleyball game.
“Ya~n! I’m not so good at it~~~”
The girl in the swimsuit, who was not fully salty, ran off with an awkward smile on her face.
Three hours into the workday. How many times had he seen this scene?
“I think Souji’s part-time job is at a host club…”
“If you keep talking nonsense, I’m going to stick an air needle up your nostrils.”
“That’s scary!”
Natsuhiko thought, while desperately guarding his nostrils.
“Try to get Shioya or Sakase to witness this kind of popularity, no matter how hard part-time it is. They’ll die of jealousy.”
