"I Wanna Fondle Them Too" (Oppai Momitai) - Chapter 53
"Please support me on Ko-fi! Thank you!"
Chapter 53
After returning to his room, Natsuhiko fell on the bed.
“I’m beat…”
He explained everything about how he had started going out with Miko and how Miko had run away from home after a fight with her father.
It was a heavy task to explain the situation while choosing the appropriate words so as not to complicate the situation and hurt Miko further.
But thanks to the joint effort of Natsuhiko and Nina, they were able to get permission from both parents to have Miko stay with them.
Though they got the permission, it doesn’t mean that the root of the cause was solved.
It had been postponed, and no better result came out of it.
“I wonder if there is anything I can do…”
He wanted Miko and her father to reconcile…
He wanted the two of them to make up…
He kept wracking his head, but nothing concrete or even abstract came to his mind.
The more he thought about it, the more negative the thoughts in his mind became.
(Do I have to break up with Miko-chan?)
“…”
When the absolute worst thought popped into his mind, he denied it immediately.
It was the worst way he could think of. In the first place, he didn’t want to do anything that would make her sad, unless it’s a matter of settling the matter by breaking up.
Despite this, the option of “breaking up” flickered in his mind. It was an absolute impossible thought, but he couldn’t get it out of his head.
The more depressed he became, the deeper his body sank in the bed.
“… Hmm?”
He got a phone call that pulled him out of his unpleasant trance.
|| “Natsu. Let’s play.”
It was from Kohaku. She seemed to be playing a game as he could hear the sound of the game and the clinking of the controller.
The voice of his bad friend, who had no clue about his worries, gave him a strange sense of relief, though it was a bit nonsensical.
Still, he couldn’t bring himself to enjoy the game with her.
“Sorry, I’ll pass. I’m just not in the mood right now.”
|| “What the hell. Don’t be depressed because you failed today’s date.”
“?? I didn’t fail.”
|| “There’s no way. You wouldn’t be whining like an undead if you hadn’t done anything wrong.”
“Ugh…”
|| “Well, I wanted to invite you to the Battle-Game, but hearing your voice makes me want to play Biohazard again. Well then, I’ll install the remake now, and we will shareplay in about 30 minutes.”
“I don’t wanna! I mean, come on! Don’t treat me like a zombie!”
To retort back he even jumped out of his bed.
But Natsuhiko’s tsukkomi made Kohaku chuckle with amusement.
|| “No~. Natsu is so pretty easy to handle. Do you expect me to treat you like something fragile, something delicate?”
“Damn it… I’ll express-deliver myself to you… And the moment you open the box, I’ll give you a surprise punch…!”
|| “There’s no way I’m gonna open it. Hmm… A garbage truck will do the work for me.”
“You’ll throw me in the trash…?”
|| “And there will be no need to separate combustible and noncombustible parts, that’s a plus point for you.”
“I don’t need those points!” Natsuhiko wanted to say something, but he held back his words, not wanting to be Kohaku’s plaything any longer.
|| “So, why are you depressed, Natsu? Something happened between you and Miko-chan?”
“It’s frustrating how you can see through me… Well, you’re right.”
|| “I can give you some advice.”
“I’ll lend you an ear!” Such deep words from Kohaku.
Looking back at her sketchy personality, Natsuhiko was a bit unsure. But, she said that she will counsel him…
Natsuhiko gave her a chance.
“Miko and her father fought because of me. I want them to make up, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to do that.”
“… Hou!”
“So, you know. The more I think about it, the more I worry about how badly Miko-chan’s life is ruined because of me.”
As he let out his pent-up feelings, Kohaku, who was listening to him, agreed “Indeed…” and took a deep sigh.
Just like Miko and Nina, Kohaku was also Natsuhiko’s best friend.
So it was only natural for him to reach out to his best friend.
|| “How trivial!”
“… Eh…”
But that was unexpected.
