- One day, my best friend suddenly turned into a sickly girl from the TS
- Chapter 17: Exchanging stories with Kanase
We had yet to plan to announce our relationship, at least not initially publicly. The idea was to start subtly, sharing the news with only a few acquaintances. However, this mutual understanding between Yoru and me was quickly forgotten.
“Yuki, you came.♪”
“How was the class earlier? Did you find anything difficult?”
“Yuki, I feel lonely without you.”
“I love you, Yuki.♪”
Every break, Yoru would come to me. Of course, it wasn’t just about talking. Hand-holding, shoulder-bumping, and even hugging from behind were an abundance of physical affection.
“…Are those two…?”
“Looks like it… huh? BL!?”
“No, that’s not it. Yoru are a girl now.”
We were the subject of whispered rumors.
During lunchtime, with most of our friends gone to the cafeteria, Yoru was right in front of me. We sat facing each other, eating our lunch. She caught me staring at her face and tilted her head curiously.
“Something wrong?”
“No, nothing…”
Her face reddened with a smile when our eyes met, seemingly pleased by making eye contact.
“…Seriously.”
Becoming a couple does make one a spectacle in a way. Yoru were no longer a boy but a girl, and our relationship wasn’t that unusual. Research showed that others with TS disease also experienced similar dynamics.
“Hey, Yuki, I will learn to make lunch.”
“Why?”
“…You know why. I want you to eat it.”
“…Right.”
“Yep.”
Her homemade lunch was a dream for many high school boys. Although confusing, it was undeniably a delightful prospect. This would surely be a banter topic among friends and family, but seeing Yoru’s eager face made it impossible to refuse.
“Got it. Thanks, Yoru.”
“Yeah♪”
…She’s just too cute.
The way she smiles makes me want to do something for her… maybe a gift. But choosing a present for a girl is more challenging than I thought.
“Looks like you two are having fun.”
“Oh? Kanase?”
Kanase approached us. Remembering how Yoru and I decided to be together after meeting with her made me realize something.
“…So you two are dating? Am I wrong?”
“No, you’re not wrong.”
Yoru were straightforward. Hearing it directly from her, Kanase seemed surprised but then smiled.
“I always thought Yuki was the only one who could be by Yoru’s side. Congratulations to both of you.”
“Thanks, Kanase.”
“…A real heartbreak.”
Her whisper reached me.
How to react in such a situation was beyond me. She loved Yoru as a boy, so it must be complex. Yet, she still congratulated us with a smile, which I admired.
“…Kanase, sorry. I… I can only be with Yuki now.”
“No need to apologize, Yoru. I’m happy to see you happy.”
Kanase then moved towards Yoru and embraced her. Yoru responded by wrapping her arms around Kanase.
“Let me heal my broken heart by hearing more about you two. Tell me everything, Yoru.”
“Ah… haha, sure.♪”
Despite the slightly serious atmosphere, Kanase and Yoru embraced each other warmly.
For the next while, Yoru enthusiastically shared stories about us with Kanase, who listened attentively, occasionally bursting into laughter.
“Yoru, that’s enough. You’re embarrassing me.”
“Really? I still have so much more to say.”
“It’s a bit too much. But Yoru, letting him touch your chest before you were dating is a bit… you know.”
Yoru had shared even that detail.
Kanase, who had been happily listening, blushed at this revelation.
“…It’s fine.”
“No, it’s not…”
“I wanted him to touch me…”
Even I was taken aback by her frank admission.
“Still, I’m his girlfriend now so we can do anything. If Yuki wants more, I’m always ready—”
“Yoru, stop for a second.”
“Agreed. Let’s pause there, Yoru.”
While I appreciated her words, they were overwhelming.
“…Sorry about that.”
“You should be.”
It started with Kanase wanting to know more, but Yoru’s candidness was a lesson learned. And Yoru… she seems to be losing restraint in expressing her desires. With her understanding of male interests, she knows exactly how to push my buttons.
…Am I trapped?
But it’s a pleasant kind of trap. Yoru, with her affectionate gaze, kept me in deep thought.
Other TS patients also shared the same dynamic? That means you can get a clingy and affectionate girlfriend!? Man… I’m so jealous
