Occult: World of Yandere - Volume 2 Chapter 44 - Twins I
December 21st, 2026, Wednesday
9:37 P.M – Anthen City – Sector 38 – Federal Assembly of Aeloria
Fūzokujō District – Southern Anthen
The southern wing of Anthen City was a place people preferred not to look at too closely unless they had there priories to a different kind of illegal entertainment.
The Fūzokujō district especially, was infamous, a literal breeding ground for vice, a labyrinth of neon signs and rotting brickwork, a kingdom claimed by the Black Dragon Gang, a the biggest Yakuza gang in the City, they rune 15% of the entire City of Anthen, which was basically the entire Southern parts of Sector-38.
Drugs, women, and blood painted the cobblestones here. To outsiders, it was one of the most dangerous and crime infested red-light district to date in the entire F.A.A. To locals, it was hell dressed in cheap perfume, and place you wanted to be if pleasure and entertainment of the sex and party kind was what you were looking for.
And yet, amid the noise of shouting, laughter, and muffled cries of moans and skin slapping skin in alley ways, or bars or cheap motel in district, a single figure walked these streets without fear.
She was small, barely 4″6 in height, and a pale-skinned girl in a sleek black dress that clung to her modest yet shapely bust.
High heels clicked against the uneven pavement as though she were walking down a ballroom floor rather than one of the most dangerous streets in the city. Straight, jet-black hair to point it look dark blue swayed with each step, framing an innocent smile that didn’t match the dread in the eyes of those who saw her.
Her name passed in whispers before she even fully appeared.
“Holy shit look bro it’s Ella.”
“So the rumor where true, she awaken.”
“Don’t talk loud you moron, do you want to get killed, there is reason she earn the moniker of Butcher of Jinvas yak know.”
“I would have never thought a Slave would rise in power like the way she did… Life truly works in mysterious ways.”
The gang members leaning against walls straightened up, sweat prickling their brows despite the cool night air. Prostitutes, painted in cheap makeup and weary smiles, dipped their heads as if a queen had passed them by. Even drunks sobered up enough to stumble out of her way.
It wasn’t her beauty that froze them, nor her size, but the implications of her presence here. The memory of what she had done to earn her name lingered like smoke in the alleys. And yet, she hummed as though she carried no burdens at all, the childish sing-song tone of London Bridge is Falling Down leaving her lips, light and carefree.
Danger wrapped around her like perfume, but she carried it as though it were perfume, natural, casual, almost sweet, but anything that is beautiful in nature is often time the most poisonous of creatures.
And Ella was one such being in these parts… alas, she wasn’t ways this strong, and even if she was, her reputation would have not been achievable if it where not for her beloved, unique, feared, power, magnificent, esteem, benevolent, awesome, unmatched, handsome, undefeatable, undeniable, and Supreme master.
Just thinking about him now, made her wet, as she bite her lip with immense love for the man.
“Calm down Ella, calm down, you will be rewarded soon”
She said, a she continued her stroll.
The deeper she walked, the more the city seemed to bow. Gangsters who once would have jeered at women shrank into silence. Prostitutes parted ways in reverence. In the chaos of Anthen’s south, Ella moved like a saint in a cathedral.
And she was happy.
Just a month ago, all these people looked down on her, and abuse her and her twin sister.
But now like ants and bees seeing their queen approaching they all shrank back in fear, and she fucking love it.
Just a month ago, she had been nothing but a slave, forced to sell drugs on these very corners, and give hand jobs when she was asked, all because of her stupid parent’s that died with a great debt causing her and her sister to become slave to the Leader of the South, the vile man who made her teenage years hell… To him, they where no more than a cute toy.
A pair of disposable girl.
Now, the same streets bent to her will. The same men who beat her feared the sway of her dress. Her lips curved into a genuine smile, one born not of arrogance, but of satisfaction.
Still, tonight wasn’t about reminiscing.
Ahead rose the Black Dragon’s pride, beside their monopoly on the city Southern district, but before Ella a towering building that doubled as their headquarters and Anthen’s most popular night club dubbed the Rose Garden.
From the outside, its walls pulsed with bass, the music leaking through the long line of hopefuls that wrapped around the block. A hundred people waited, desperate to get in. But not her… Ella was here on official business.
As such she didn’t wait up.
Her heels clicked as she walked past the line, ignoring the envious stares. Some recognized her and bowed their heads. Others, fresh faces, did not, and their voices rose in protest.
“Oi, what the hell? We’ve been waiting for two hours and you are just letting that woman in?”
A ripple of tension cut through the crowd. Everyone who knew her, knew what came next. Ella stopped before the bouncer, a mountain of a man in a black suit, his jaw clenched, sweat sliding down his temple. She tilted her head and spoke softly.
“Mikey…
His throat bobbed as he swallowed, then he answered like a man facing judgment.
“Yes Lady Ella!?”
Her lips curved faintly, and looked at the noisy man.
Gave him smile, then she looks back at Mikey and said.
“The floor is too clean.”
No further words were needed. Mikey’s face paled…but he understood. The crowd outside heard it too, and though they didn’t know the meaning, the silence that followed spoke volumes.
A moment later, after Ella walk into the building leaving the scenery behind a loud screams of terror erupted from the outside, sharp and panicked, before two gunshots cut through the air.
Inside on the other hand, the world was a different beast. Lights strobed across the club, bodies grinding on the dance floor in drunken lust, laughter spilling over the pounding music.
Men and women stripper alike entertain their patron, some stripped bare, some flaunting wealth, others only shame drowned themselves in the intoxicating chaos. Strip poles gleamed under spotlights.
Glasses clinked.
Illegal deals whispered in dark corners.
But Ella ignored it all. She had a purpose.
She moved straight to the back without paying anyone currently here any attention at all, as she made her way to a gilded elevator guarded by men with earpieces.
Without a word, she pressed the special blue button three times. And the steel doors closed around her, and the world of sweat and music faded as the elevator rose upwards.
Up, past the hotel floors, past the VIP gambling hall where fortunes were lost in hours, past the private theaters and illicit games. Higher, until the air itself felt heavier due to quietness of the place she now find herself in.
The doors opened onto the top floor.
Red LED strips glowed faintly along the walls, guiding her forward into a penthouse swathed in minute darkness. Armed men lined the path, each one bowing as she passed. Her heels echoed in the hush, a sound more commanding than gunfire to these harden gang members.
All of them where Yakuza, shirtless, muscular, other fill with full body tattoos, or have katanas at their side, drunk, high, but none of them make scenery before her.
At the end of the hall was the office, this was the place she needed to be.
And without hesitation… She pushed the door open without knocking.
And that’s when she saw the person she was supposed to meet tonight.
A great glass window showed behind him, a view so high in the sky-scraper the entire city could be seen from where he sit.
And behind the desk sat a man whose presence once dominated these streets of Anthen.
Kageyama Ryu.
