Non-Human Girls Are Fighting Over Me ~ Do I Get to Refuse? “Nope!” “No Way!” “Not a Chance!” “Absolutely Not!” - Chapter 66 & 67
Chapter 66: Twilight Warriors – Showdown at Haraikawa High
Saturday morning. Izolde’s apartment.
“Ugh, I drank too much yesterday. My thighs are killing me…”
Still half-asleep, Izolde lifts the sheets, and a splash of blood catches her eye.
“Huh? What?!”
Next to her, Kazuto is still breathing softly in sleep.
“Ahhh—!”
For a moment, her mind goes blank, and memories of last night flood back.
“Huh? What?” Kazuto mumbles, slowly opening his eyes.
※
One hour later.
The two sit across from each other at a small table.
In front of them are toast, coffee, and fried eggs.
“Let’s eat.”
“Let’s eat.”
The mood is oppressively heavy, as if they’re performing a ritual to erase last night’s events.
“Um, about yesterday…” Izolde says, blushing and looking down.
“Yeah…” Kazuto responds.
“Can we… just pretend it didn’t happen?” Izolde proposes in a small, desperate voice.
“No way, it’s a total non-issue. I mean, someone like me? You wouldn’t want that, right?” Izolde continues.
“…”
Kazuto takes a breath, then speaks with resolve.
“It’s true we got carried away and ended up physical. But that’s not the point.”
“You’re an incredible woman. I don’t want to brush this off like it didn’t matter. That would be an insult to you…”
He gently takes Izolde’s hand.
“Have more confidence in yourself. Okay?”
Izolde’s mind goes hazy.
(What… Could he be my destined prince?
Is that what this is?)
“Sorry. You shouldn’t tease a loser like me,” Izolde says, reflexively denying it.
“No, you’re not a loser. That’s not true,” Kazuto insists.
Tears stream down Izolde’s cheeks.
“Mama, thank you… Your fortune-telling was right. You let me meet my prince before I die. I have no regrets now,” Izolde murmurs to herself.
“Kazuto, I won’t let you die. I’ll protect you, no matter what,” Izolde whispers softly, her heart racing.
Izolde stands beside Kazuto and presses her lips to his.
(If only this moment could last forever…)
Her maidenly heart is in full bloom.
“Do what you feel is right. Even if it means killing me. I don’t want to die, but, well,” Kazuto says, half-serious, half-teasing.
At his words, Izolde instinctively hugs him back.
The bracelet on her wrist glimmers faintly, glowing quietly between them, unnoticed.
※
Eight o’clock at night. In front of Haraikawa High’s main gate.
Kazuto, Towa, and Mio gather under a streetlamp, joining Levi and Riri, who were already waiting.
Kazuto is in casual clothes, but the air around him sparkles oddly, almost painfully bright.
Riri is in “adult mode” as Lilith, wearing a black dress with a large ribbon.
Mio is dressed as a true witch—pointed hat and high-collared dress.
And Levi appears in a bold black dress with a plunging neckline.
Kazuto, unsure where to look, averts his gaze.
“…You’re too indiscriminate. That’s no good,” Mio says sharply, shutting him down.
“Seriously, you’re hopeless. It’s terminal,” Riri adds, shrugging with a exasperated look.
“Getting flustered just because Riri’s mom dressed up a bit differently?” Towa teases from the side.
But Towa’s outfit is the most striking of all.
Sunglasses, a long black coat, a combat suit, a sword on her back, and pistols holstered at both thighs—a fully armed style straight out of an action movie.
“No, you’re the last one who gets to say that,” Mio retorts coldly.
“Heh, pretty cool, right? This is custom-made,” Towa says, striking a pose and grinning smugly.
The group’s banter lightens the mood, but it doesn’t last.
From the path leading to the school building, four figures emerge.
Drako, clad in an old-fashioned black frock coat.
Beside him, Agrat, draped in a jet-black dress.
Aurelia, the Dragonoid warrior, carrying a spear.
And Izolde, in a witch’s outfit—high-collared dress and pointed hat.
The two groups line up, facing each other as if ready for battle.
“…It seems everyone’s here,” Levi says quietly.
“Hm,” Drako nods curtly.
Tension crackles in the air as Agrat and Izolde’s gazes lock onto Kazuto.
“Kazuto, sorry about yesterday,” Agrat says sincerely, bowing her head.
“…”
Izolde, unable to speak, stares at Kazuto with a flushed face.
“…”
Kazuto, slightly troubled, offers a gentle smile in return.
The scene only deepens the heavy tension.
Awkwardness and unspoken emotions collide.
“Well then, Kazuto-kun, wait in your classroom,” Levi urges.
“…Got it.”
Kazuto nods and walks toward the school building, the heavy atmosphere trailing behind him.
The two groups remain.
They lock eyes, each taking a moment to steady their breath.
“—Shall we begin?” Levi’s words signal the start, and both sides spring into action.
At Haraikawa High, under the cover of night, the curtain rises.
Chapter 67: Lilith vs. Aurelia
Haraikawa High School—Rooftop.
The night wind cuts through the darkness as two women face off.
The “Demon of Paradise Lost,” Lilith.
Her opponent,
The “Dragonoid,” Aurelia.
Silently, they close the distance, tension swelling like a taut bowstring.
“Let’s wrap this up quick so I can get back to Kazuto,” Lilith says with a provocative smirk.
“Hmph, try it if you can,” Aurelia replies, leveling her long spear and stepping forward in one fluid motion.
The spear flashes, its sharp thrust slicing through the air. But the strike hits nothing.
—Lilith’s form had vanished.
“Damn, she’s fast!” Aurelia curses, repositioning her spear.
The spear’s shaft trembles faintly.
“Longomiant—Legendary Holy Spear.”
As if responding, the spear’s tip glows with white light, swelling instantly into a blinding source.
“…This is bad,” Lilith mutters, her brow furrowing for the first time.
The next moment, the unleashed light tears through the sky.
A high-powered beam roars forth with a thunderous boom.
The night sky blazes like midday, and a violent gust shakes the entire school building.
※
On the ground, Towa looks up at the rooftop, a wry smirk on her lips.
“They’re starting with a bang up there… Guess it’s time for us to move.”
“Hm,” Drako responds lowly.
※
In the sky, Levi and Morgadia face off against Agrat and Izolde, each quietly building their presence.
“They’re using some flashy weapons. Shall we get started?” Levi says with a cold sneer.
“Indeed,” Morgadia replies curtly.
Agrat whispers to her ally.
“Izo-chan, just like we planned.”
“Okay,” Izolde nods, biting her lip with tension.
※
Meanwhile, on the rooftop.
“Did I get her?!” Aurelia shouts, panting after unleashing her full-force strike.
Her breath is ragged, the spear’s tip still faintly glowing with residual heat.
But—
“Hmph, plenty of power… but you haven’t mastered it,” a low voice whispers from behind.
“—?!” Before Aurelia can turn, a shock ripples through her back.
Lilith’s palm strike slams into her spine with piercing force, making the dragon warrior’s body lurch.
“That was just an illusion. If you can’t see through to the real me, all that light is pointless.”
The light fades from Aurelia’s eyes, and her spear clatters to the ground.
She collapses to her knees—and loses consciousness.
An all-too-swift end.
Lilith shrugs, flicking her fingers as if dispelling magic, reaching toward the night sky.
※
At the same time, in another world—Coliseum.
The packed stands rumble with shouts and cheers like an earthquake.
In the stone coliseum’s center, a magical projection device displays the battle from another world.
Light splits the sky, turning night into day—a breathtaking strike that drives the crowd to frenzied excitement.
“Woooooo!”
“Holy crap, that’s Longomiant! Seeing the real thing is insane!”
Scattered paper flutters—betting slips for the wager.
Some revel in victory, others clutch their heads in defeat, their emotions clashing in a chaotic swirl.
“Damn it, it went exactly as predicted!”
“Haha, yes! This matchup was an easy win!” The roar of the crowd never stops.
It’s no longer just a battle but a grand spectacle of madness.
※
Royal Palace—Grand Hall.
Royalty and high nobles stand in formation, watching the projection under opulent chandeliers.
Unlike the betting-crazed masses, their gazes carry the cold weight of politics.
“Hm… A predictable outcome,” one says.
“So, a Dragonoid can’t stop Lilith after all,” another scoffs.
Amid the dismissive voices, a calm female voice rings out.
Saintess Seraphina—
“Yes, as expected. The real issue… is Izolde.” Her cool eyes fix on the lone witch.
※
Demon Castle.
A jet-black spire pierces the heavens, the stronghold of Demon King Satan.
The man lounging on the throne laughs boisterously at the projected scene.
“Hahaha! What a massive firework to kick off the festival!”
He rests his chin in his hand, his red eyes glinting.
