Volume 2 Chapter 15 – Kyopi

“Wow!”

Aika and I were watching the intense battle from earlier together.

We were using a small, high-performance video camera we bought to capture Kuzukawa’s true identity.

It was never meant to record something like this. It wasn’t intended to be filmed, and I definitely didn’t plan on starring in it. But since Aika was with me, I agreed.

We connected it to the TV and watched while eating snacks. High school girls shouldn’t be doing this, definitely not. But here we were, watching it anyway.

‘Shuki… shuki…’

“Haha, she keeps saying ‘shuki shuki’!”

“Come on, Aika, you too~”

I was shocked by my own boldness. It didn’t feel like the person in the video was actually me. I didn’t even know I could make sounds like that.

Kyopi… this is so embarrassing…

During the act with Todou-kun, it felt like I was a small boat in a storm, desperately clinging on to avoid sinking.

There was no time to look around at everything.

Seeing it objectively now, it was like he was putting in so much effort to make me happy, almost as if he was prioritizing me over himself… It made me feel kind of happy. It’s hard to tell who got the reward in the end.

Ah, here’s the scene where he stroked deep inside. That was incredible… My mind went completely blank, and I couldn’t help but stroke my stomach.

“But still, Aika, your skin is so beautiful. Not a single blemish.”

I shifted the conversation to Aika to hide my embarrassment. But she really is stunning. Standing next to her, I didn’t even feel jealous. She looked different in the video.

“Well, I’ve been keeping it polished so I can show it to Kyopi anytime. Normally, sweets and sleep deprivation are off-limits, but today is a special day, and we’re having a bonding session, so I let it slide.”

“Really?”

Do people really go that far? That’s amazing.

In our group, there’s Aika and me, and then there’s Mee, who is Andou Mitsuki, and Maya, who is Tashiro Maaya.

Those two are definitely cute, but they probably had their glow-up in high school just like me. The only genuine one here is Aika. And apparently, even she has been putting in efforts behind the scenes.

“I have pretty sensitive skin. I never wanted to lose to my stepsister, so I’ve been doing this since middle school.”

So this is all the result of her constant efforts. I wonder if I can catch up starting from today. But for now, my hair and skin are definitely shiny and plump.

Especially my hair. Even though it got so damaged after bleaching and dyeing, it’s now glossy. Aika’s hair is the same. So, getting pretty isn’t just a myth.

I always thought those kinds of portrayals in manga were completely fake.

Not to mention, for some reason, my body is full of excess energy.

“Tomoka-chan, haven’t you been doing anything at all?”

“Pretty much nothing.”

“Wow. Then you’ll probably see results really fast.”

“Really?”

Until now, I only focused on makeup for my face, but with a high-performance camera, you can even see every pore. It’s all on full display. Kyopi said I looked pretty, but now I want to polish my body too.

I need to get some hair removal done…

“I’ll show you how to do it later. Well, I only know what Kyopi told me.”

“Todou-kun, who even are you?”

Todou-kun went home. He said it was because he didn’t want to worry his stepsister by staying out without telling her.

What kind of person is he really? He seemed to know something about Megumi’s situation too, and my perception of him has completely changed since yesterday.

He looked stylish in his casual clothes, and his hairstyle was neat. Apparently, at school, he had kept his hair messy due to past traumas. His uniform was also unkempt, which would definitely leave a bad first impression on girls.

Starting next week, it seems like he’s going to change—or maybe revert back.

When he said with a smile, completely naked, “I can’t show the two of you anything uncool,” I was dying of embarrassment. Kyopi, geez…

Regarding Kuzukawa’s strategy, he mentioned that using the video after only three months since enrollment was probably a sign of impatience. During middle school, when Kuzukawa’s popularity rose, they didn’t make a move until everyone’s perception was solidified.

From what I’ve investigated, that seems accurate. Shimode didn’t act until things settled down first.

Once things settled, Kuzukawa would start making moves, with Ueda using words to silence and Nakata using fists.

But this time, they acted because Aika was there. Even though they’re capable of such things without hesitation, the plan was relatively weak. Todou-kun speculated that there must be some external reason for it.

If anything serious came up, Shimode, the one who gives the orders, would likely stop it. That’s why it’s difficult to capture a decisive moment. So, starting next week, Todou-kun plans to provoke Kuzukawa into a reckless move or force Nakata to take action.

He mentioned that typically, you’d take down Shimode first.

Mee and Maya still can’t fully trust me. After all, besides Megumi, I didn’t really have any friends. I didn’t have anyone I could open up to and rely on.

‘I’ll definitely save you and your friends.’

… How could he say something like that?

Megumi, once we take down Kuzukawa, I’m coming to see you!

Starting next week, Todou-kun and Aika will go to school together to nullify the impact of the video. In the meantime, I was told to find isolated girls in our grade and become friends with them. He said that since I was able to genuinely connect with Aika like sisters without any pretense, we should work together to expand that circle.

… Although, in a different way, we did become like sisters.

“But seriously, it was amazing.”

“You mean… that? Y-yeah.”

I remembered it again… I could feel my cheeks and ears getting hot. There was still a lingering sweet tingling in my lower abdomen.

Since it was his first time, Todou-kun had whispered in my ear while holding me, “This much for now, huh.” There seemed to be more beyond this.

Kyopi… what’s going to happen to me?

“All I ever heard about the first time was that it hurts, or feels like dying.”

“So, Aika, you didn’t feel any pain either? I’d heard it was supposed to be pretty bad, so I thought maybe I was just weird.”

“Yeah, same here. It’s strange, right? Maybe everyone else was lying to us?”

“No, I don’t think so. Mee and Maya said the same. It’s probably just that Todou-kun is really good at it.”

That almost otherworldly way he moved his hips didn’t seem like something he was doing for the first time.

At first, he treated me like a princess, but in the latter half, it was like I was being punished for something bad I did.

… Kyopi, you idiot. Oh no.

“Those two implied they had experience, but isn’t it kind of suspicious?”

“Huh, suspicious? Mee and Maya? Now that you mention it, they didn’t say anything specific. It was only some parts that were overly vivid.”

“They might not have experience with the… you know, in-and-out part.”

“That’s possible. Those two are scaredy-cats at heart. They’d probably be saying, ‘I’m gonna die, I’m gonna die…’”

“We almost felt like we were going to die in a different way.”

“…Come on, don’t make me remember that… But, let’s watch it again.”

“Yeah! I want to find his weak spots. Oh, by the way, hey Tomoka-chan.”

“What?”

“Can you teach me how to do gal makeup?”
