My Yandere Girlfriend Hiding in the Dungeon Kills Me Over and Over Again
Chapter 118 Date
The next day, as promised, Agetha and I went out for our date.
The atmosphere of victory still lingered, and the passing crowd seemed somewhat festive.
“Nee, Agetha.”
“What?”
Agetha, walking beside me, looked in my direction.
“Do you have money or something?”
“Yeah, I have some.”
While saying so, Agetha deployed an “Item Box” from her hand. Several coins came out from it.
“It’s a bit awkward to say, but I don’t have much money. When I was falsely imprisoned in the dungeon, I wasn’t given any money. After that, even though I had the opportunity to leave the dungeon, I didn’t have the means to prepare money.”
“You don’t have to worry about it. I have plenty of money.”
Making her pay felt a bit pathetic. At least I should escort her. I’m prepared for that. Yesterday, I asked a servant working in the royal palace for a recommended place.
“Are you still not hungry?”
“Yeah, I just had breakfast.”
By the way, breakfast was brought to my room by a servant working in the royal palace.
“Are you interested in theater or anything? There’s a famous theater in the capital.”
“Oh, really? I might want to go!”
“Well then, let’s head there right away.”
Yesterday, I heard from a servant that the theater in the capital was the most popular dating spot.
So, Agetha and I headed to the theater.
“I’m terribly sorry.”
The receptionist said, bowing her head.
When we inquired about tickets for the day, the theater was already full, and the tickets were sold out.
“Um, what about tomorrow? Are there any available seats?”
“Tomorrow is also fully booked.”
“When would there be availability?”
“Well, even in the near future, it would be six days from now.”
The receptionist said apologetically. Waiting for six days seemed quite busy.
“What should we do, Agetha?”
Our future plans were not particularly decided.
We could stay in the capital for six more days, or we could leave for another town tomorrow. Since we were told we could stay at the royal palace for six months or even a year, staying for another six days wouldn’t be a problem.
“If you want to see it, I’m totally fine with that.”
“What I want to know is whether Agetha wants to see it or not.”
Agetha often seems to agree with me. While that in itself is pleasing, I occasionally want to hear Agetha’s opinions.
“Well, yeah. If I’m with Kiska, I’d be happy doing anything, so if you ask me, it might be difficult to answer…”
Agetha said.
When she says things like that, I get a little shy.
I wonder how much she likes me.
“Well then, since it’s a rare opportunity, let’s watch it together.”
“Yeah.”
So, six days later, we made a reservation to watch a play at the theater.

After that, I had lunch with Agetha at a restaurant popular among the servants in the capital, as recommended. Then, we aimlessly strolled through the town.
As befitting a capital, there was a rich variety of goods, and simply gazing around provided ample enjoyment.
Since dinner would be prepared for us at the palace, we returned home before dinner.
“May we come in?”
After spending a relaxed time with Agetha in the room after dinner, we heard a knock on the door. Upon opening it, we found Prince Eligion and his servant.
It seemed that dinner was served separately in rooms according to one’s status, and since we had eaten in a guest room, we hadn’t had the chance to meet Prince Eligion.
“I have a favor to ask of Hero Agetha.”
“What is it?”
“We are holding a triumph ceremony soon, and I was wondering if you would attend?”
Agetha had likely declined when invited to the triumph ceremony before.
“Well, I’m aware that you declined before, but I’m asking again. Since we are holding the ceremony, I would really like you, as the hero, to participate. I believe the citizens would be pleased if you attended.”
Even though Prince Eligion was persuasive, Agetha wore a reluctant expression. It seemed she really didn’t want to participate.
“Well, if you don’t want to participate, could you please tell us the reason?”
Prince Eligion, seemingly sensing Agetha’s feelings, spoke up.
“I don’t want to stand out. If people find out that I’m the hero, even just walking around town could attract attention. If that happens, I might get tired of dealing with it.”
“I see. In that case, it’s fine to wear a mask during the ceremony. That way, even if you walk around town, no one will know you’re the hero. How about that?”
Agetha looked troubled.
She probably hadn’t expected to receive a solution like wearing a mask just for her sake.
“By the way, when is the triumph ceremony being held?”
“It’s six days from now.”
Six days later. Come to think of it, the play we’re going to see is also scheduled for six days later.
“Unfortunately, I have plans on that day, so I won’t be able to attend the triumph ceremony.”
“What plans do you have?”
“I’m going to watch a play. I’ve already bought the tickets.”
Saying that, Agetha proudly showed the tickets.
“I see. Indeed, it’s the same day.”
Saying so, Prince Eligion pressed his forehead, lost in thought.
“All right, let’s move the theater day to the next day.”
“Can you do that?”
“I’m a Prince. If I tell the theater, they can easily make changes to the tickets.”
Prince Eligion always spoke in a friendly manner, making it easy to forget that he was a member of the royal family in this country.
Well, ticket changes should be simple for someone of his status.
“Well, it’s not necessary. I want to watch the play six days from now.”
“I see… But, I can’t really change the date of the triumph ceremony.”
As he said this, Prince Eligion looked at the theater tickets. Then, as if he had just realized something, he spoke up.
“These are seats with obstructed views, right?”
“Obstructed views?”
“Did you buy these tickets today by any chance?”
“Yeah, I did.”
“I thought so. These seats are famous for being at the end and right behind a big pillar. They’re commonly known as ‘obstructed view’ seats. You won’t be able to see anything from these seats.”
“Is that so…”
“Theater in the capital is popular, and it’s said that you have to make reservations six months in advance. Even then, the only reason you were able to get tickets for six days later is probably because that day coincided with the triumph ceremony. Still, it seems only obstructed view seats were available.”
I couldn’t help but be amazed that the theater was so popular, requiring reservations six months in advance.
“But as a Prince, I can arrange for premier seats seven days later, and it will be a private room on the most visible third floor, exclusively for you two.”
“Premier seats?”
“Yeah, it’s a seat in the middle of the third floor, offering the best view, and it’s a private room that only you two can enter.”
The term “private room” seemed to stir something in Agetha’s heart, as her pupils dilated noticeably.
“Of course, you attending the triumph ceremony is a condition for getting the premier seats.”
While premier seats were undoubtedly tempting, there seemed to be some hesitation about attending the triumph ceremony, and Agetha couldn’t immediately give an answer.
“Prince Eligion, I’m allowed to participate in the triumph ceremony, right?”
“Yeah, Kiska, you’re a contributor too. I’d be very happy if you could join us.”
I see. In that case—
“Agetha, how about participating in the triumph ceremony with me? Since Prince Eligion has gone out of his way to help us, and we’ve received a lot of assistance, including premier seats at the theater, staying at the palace, and having dinner, maybe we should fulfill his expectations?”
“Yeah, if Kiska walks with me, it’s fine.”
Agetha agreed.
“All right, it’s settled then.”
Prince Eligion nodded in satisfaction.

Chapter 119 Triumph Ceremony
After that, I was free to spend my time until the day of the Triumph Ceremony.
Most days were spent strolling through the city with Agetha.
On some occasions, there were impromptu mock battles with the Supreme Swordsman.
On another day, I went on a hunting trip with Prince Eligion, who had invited me. On that day, the Sage Nyau also joined us. It seemed she was staying at the palace to attend the Triumph Ceremony.
“I looked into Holy Knight Canaria. Indeed, she was from Luna Village.”
“Is that so…”
Previously, Holy Knight Canaria had verbally conveyed that she was from Luna Village. Perhaps Prince Eligion had investigated to confirm if this was indeed true.
“She was well-regarded as strong in the Knights’ Order, and she had the trust of those around her. That’s why I also trusted her. But I wonder what feelings she had while working under me.”
It was clear that Holy Knight Canaria held a strong grudge against Prince Eligion. However, he didn’t intend to disclose such information.
“Um… would it be okay if I asked what happened in Luna Village?”
I hesitated for a moment whether it was appropriate to ask such a question, but I gathered the courage to ask.
“…I owe you, so of course, I’ll explain.”
With those words, Prince Eligion began to speak.
“The entire village faced retribution for collaborating with the demonic forces in Luna Village.”
“Was that true…?”
“Yeah, it seems the villagers were harboring several demons, providing them with food and shelter.”
“I see…”
Collaborating with demons is considered a serious crime.
“The discovery happened when another village was attacked by those demons. As a result, several people lost their lives.”
“So, Luna Village was disciplined because of that…”
“Yeah, His Majesty was extremely angry, and that decision was made.”
“And did Eligion-sama also participate?”
“Yeah, as the leader, I led the soldiers. But I was young at the time and couldn’t do much. His Majesty, wanting to claim credit, forcibly made me the leader.”
“I see…”
It was a fact that sacrifices were made due to the villagers collaborating with demons, and considering that, the disciplinary action seemed unavoidable.
“I believe that discipline was a mistake.”
Prince Eligion asserted clearly.
“Collaborating with demons is certainly a serious crime, but there was no need to kill innocent women and children. At that time, I should have stopped my subordinates from excessive actions.”
Saying so, Prince Eligion wore a pained expression.
I couldn’t imagine what had happened in Luna Village. However, Prince Eligion’s expression indicated that something quite cruel had taken place there.
I thought he must be a kind person as I observed Prince Eligion.
◆
The day of the Triumph Ceremony arrived.
In attendance were not only people I knew, such as Prince Eligion, and Agetha, but also many soldiers who had fought against the demons. Additionally, the body of the Demon Lord Zoga was affixed to a pillar, displayed as a spectacle.
While it’s customary for participants to walk in triumph ceremonies, some individuals, like Prince Eligion, rode on horse-drawn carriages without roofs.
“Hero Agetha, I want you to ride this. Heroes should stand out the most.”
Saying so, Prince Eligion showed a gigantic demon, towering enough to look up to. I was utterly surprised as I hadn’t imagined riding on a demon.
“It’s a Sand Lizard. A very gentle demon that listens well to human commands.”
“But I don’t want to stand out.”
“It’s fine. That’s why you’re wearing a mask, right?”
Agetha wore an ornate black mask that one might wear to a masquerade ball. By the way, I was also wearing the same mask, as Agetha had requested matching masks. There wasn’t a profound reason behind it.
Then, riding on the Sand Lizard together with Agetha, we continued to wave to the audience. I thought it wouldn’t be that difficult, but surprisingly, it was tiring.
“Kiska, are you okay?”
“I’m quite tired. Just waving hands can be unexpectedly exhausting.”
“Yeah, I knew that because of my experience.”
“Is that so?”
Being a hero, perhaps such experiences were quite common.
“Even so, the popularity of the hero is incredible.”
When I looked down, the audience was fervently waving their hands towards us.
“This is why I didn’t like it. If we weren’t wearing masks, I think we wouldn’t be able to walk through the town normally starting tomorrow.”
“Indeed, that’s possible.”
The enthusiasm for the hero was abnormal. I could somehow understand why Agetha was reluctant to participate in the Triumph Ceremony.
“I hope tomorrow comes soon.”
“Yeah.”
Tomorrow is the long-awaited day to go and watch the theater.
