When I arrived at school the next morning, Mitori, who had come to school earlier, greeted me cheerfully.
“Hey, good morning.”
She interacted with me as if nothing happened yesterday.
… Maybe it was a dream after all?
Yeah, that’s right. Surely it was a dream!
“…It wasn’t a dream, you know?”
“!?”
Before I knew it, Mitori, who leaned close, murmured so by my ear. She was smiling.
Though she was smiling, Mitori’s eyes were the same, pitch-black eyes as they were at that time.
“…!”
I involuntarily took a step back.
However, Mitori closed the gap in an instant.
“Hey… Why are you running away?”
Once again, she spoke in that tone. I stepped back further, but this time, my back hit the wall. I couldn’t retreat any further.
“I’m not really running away or anything…”
“….Ah, lies. Naughty boys who lie need to be punished.”
Mitori put one hand against the wall and used the other to touch my cheek. Then, leaned in as if to kiss.
“Ngh!”
“!?”
She bit my neck.
It didn’t hurt much.
The pressure wasn’t enough to leave teeth marks, but there was a strong sucking sensation.
“Alright, this should be enough.”
Finally, she made a kissing sound and pulled away.
“W-What the heck was that?”
“…Marking♪”
Saying that, Mitori smiled with a mischievous and cute smile, as usual.
“Oh, it’s almost time for the teacher to come. We should get back to our seats.”
“…Hey.”
“Hm? What is it?”
“What was that just now?”
“…If Sotarou tells me that he likes me, I might explain.”
Leaving that remark behind, she returned to her seat.
I stood still on the spot, unable to move.
“Yo, Sotarou! What’s up? Why are you standing there like that?”
This tall, handsome guy with nicely-tanned skin is Haruki Sakai. He’s one of my friends.
He seems to have just finished the morning practice for the baseball club and is sweating quite a bit.
“…Ah, it’s nothing.”
“Hmm, whatever. More importantly, did you do today’s assignment? I haven’t finished it at all.”
“…not again. Here, I’ll lend you my notes, so just copy.”
“Thanks!”
Handing him my notebook, Haruki sat at his desk, energetically copying the assignment.
I always think, “Do it properly on your own,” but still, I lend it to him, silently chuckling to myself.
