“Well then, I’m going to take a bath.”

I stood up, leaving Yumika and Kana on the sofa.

The only way to escape being sandwiched between the two of them was to choose the bath.

“There probably aren’t any other families—or siblings—this close, huh…”

I sighed at the peculiarity of the Fujigaya household while taking off my clothes.

It’s common for siblings to be close when the kids are young, but as they become middle or high schoolers, they usually grow apart.

“Of course I’m embarrassed. But I also feel happy. I think it’s the same as how you feel, Kana-chan.”

“Yes. As family, of course.”

Yumika speaked to Kana without hesitation about her feelings.

Then, she finished washing Kana’s body.

“I’ll… wash Onee-chan’s body too.”

“Kana-chan!”

Kana naturally called Yumika “Onee-chan.”

Overjoyed, Yumika hugged Kana.

“You’re acknowledging me?”

“Yeah. I was being a bit mean and didn’t call you Onee-chan. I’m sorry.”

Thanks to Kana taking a step closer, the bond they both wanted has formed.

When Yumika went to the bathroom and left the room, I decided to ask Kana about her feelings.

“Why did you stubbornly refuse to call Yumika ‘Onee-chan’ before, and what changed your attitude?”

“Hmm… You know that band you love, Mithril? It’s not really popular with our generation.”

Yumika returned, so my talk with Kana ended.

Sleeping together as three makes the bed feel cramped.
