My Status Window is a yandere - CHAPTER – 7

The night passed without many problems, I even got a little information with my flies, I infiltrated the king’s office and the ministers’ offices, of course I kept an eye on several other people and locations, mainly the saint who by the way looks wonderful when she sleeps, those little breaths when sleeping were so cute that I wanted to attack her right there not only that even……….half an hour later.

Where was I going? Oh! As for spying on several people, as I was saying, I watched several people, but the ones who gave me quite interesting information were the ministers and the king, mainly the ministers.

First the king, it seems my assumption that he wanted to tie down the possessor of the ‘hero’ ability even ignoring the others was right, I saw him talking to the princess, her plan leaving aside complications and other boring things is basically to play hard to get while making him fall in love without him realizing it, the goal is to make him obsess over the princess to the point of leaving everything aside even returning home to earth.

As for the ministers, I found out that they are spies from other countries, I saw the two of them secretly meeting and planning how to get the most out of the other countries, I heard about a plan that will occur in two months, I could expose them but I decided not to, that plan they have I’m going to use to build favorable feelings with the saint, it will be something very risky but if it works the saint’s feelings will go from ‘this guy is weird’ to ‘this guy is weird but she might be a little curious about that guy’ while she also owes me a favor, it may even have a bigger effect than expected depending on the saint’s past and personality which I am still investigating.

Soldiers: “This is the dining room, have a nice day hero-sama.”

It’s true I was on my way to the dining hall to have breakfast with all the other heroes and the king, here too our future will be discussed, still, that soldier didn’t seem to respect me, I saw my other companions and compared to me they are much more polite and happy to serve them, I don’t know if it’s because of my love for the saint since they all seem to hate her or because of my skills that seem useless, I guess it’s because of both, either way it’s useless to think about these idiots.

I opened the door to the dining room and saw a long table with several chairs along its length and width, most of the heroes were sitting there including my family, and the king was sitting at the head of the table where the bosses sit, by the way he seems quite sycophantic towards my brother, as expected from the hero with the ability of the same name, my mother seems quite downcast but I can’t do anything about it for now, although I have my suspicions I don’t have the strength to find my father. I’ll think about this later, I sat in one of the chairs and we waited for the others, after a few minutes they all arrived and sat down.

The king spoke to everyone with a kind smile:

King: “Good morning heroes, don’t worry about anything now and eat, the best chefs in the castle did their best and cooked the best dishes for you, we will talk after the meal.”

After a while the dishes arrived and we started eating, everything was delicious, especially the spaghetti, which is my favorite. It’s a shame that the saint wasn’t present. Apparently she’s busy with something, that’s what they told me, but my flies are watching her and I see that she’s quite relaxed in her room reading books. She looks very pretty with that half-asleep look. I want to sit her on my lap and read books to her while I caress her head and pamper her with all my heart. *cough* *cough* I’ll think about this later.

It seems that they don’t want her to attend, instead the princess is present, she seems to be seeking my brother’s attention by acting like an unattainable flower but I almost died laughing seeing how bad she is at acting, even the king was somewhat embarrassed and looked with some tiredness at the princess, I feel some pity.

After finishing eating, the king went on to explain about this world and answer questions, some of my companions were protesting and demanding to be sent back home, but the king simply apologizes to them and just repeats what the goddess said about returning by winning the war, some were frustrated, others were sad and depressed and there were even some excited to be in an isekai like in the light novels.

After a while I also went on to explain the future, apparently starting tomorrow, on weekdays we will begin physical training from morning until lunch, after lunch we will spend the entire afternoon doing magic training until dinner, the night is free time for us and finally on the weekends we will study theory, about monsters, survival, battles and everything that has to do with knowledge to live in this world and war.

They also let us walk around the city, but we had to have guards, supposedly to protect us, but I’m sure that also included keeping an eye on us, at least they gave us a salary of a few gold coins a month.

After explaining everything to us, he told us that we had today free to get used to it and that we would start training tomorrow. After leaving the dining room, I asked one of the servants for directions and went straight to the library. It was time to use my analysis and knowledge library skills.
