My Perfect Yandere! - Chapter 87- Memories~2
“Why do you always play with me, Kazu-kun?” Tsubaki couldn’t help asking her only friend in school as they arranged all the blocks to make a castle.
Despite the fact, that Kazuya was a very famous and easygoing person in the school, he always played with her. There were many people who tried to remove him from her company…however, Kazuya never wavered. He never was disrespectful toward anyone, however, he still found his way back to her.
“Hmm? What are you even thinking about with that frown, Tsuka? Just pass me that block.”
She wanted to sigh as he again called her name wrong, but by now, Tsubaki had forsaken every hope of hearing her correct name from him.
“Don’t you feel insulted….like accompanying such an ugly girl like me?” Tsubaki was fat. Her eyes were regarded as nothing but creepy and weird. Her hair was too short and her bangs didn’t hide her freckles.
If anything, Tsubaki herself would have ignored such a dark and depressing character if she had been in anyone else’s shoes.
“Hmm?” Hearing her words, Kazuya tore his eyes away from the blocks and looked at her with genuine confusion.
“Are you turning blind or something…since right now, my eyes are looking at one of the prettiest girls I have ever come across.”
*Ba* *Dum*
Her eyes widened upon hearing those words. She was entirely taken aback by his response.
And the most concerning part,
‘He…isn’t lying at all…’ Tsubaki has already spent enough time with this boy to know when he is being dishonest and when he is voicing his mind.
And at the moment…Kazuya was too damn straight with his feelings.

It was then and it was now, more than eight years later. Kazuya still was the same. Looking out for people who require help. Trying to reach out to those who generally get ignored and help them elevate their self-confidence.
It was some of the many qualities that made Kazuya so special in her eyes. People say that you could fall in love based on one’s looks, however, Tsubaki disagreed with that.
She has lived several months with her Kazu-kun, got to know who he really was, and slowly fell for this person. Although it was true that Kazuya was the hottest guy she had ever come across, it was his inner self, that made Tsubaki attracted to him.
“Now go.” As Kazuya told the little dumpling, she slowly made her way toward the playground and instantly was approached by several kids of her age.
They chatted for a bit before it seemed they decided to add her to the game as well.
The little girl, turned to look at Kazuya for once and waved her chubby arm with a cheerful smile extending her lips.
Kazuya waved back with a warm smile, as he felt someone hugging his left arm and resting their head on his shoulder.
He didn’t need to turn, to know who this person was. Rather, Kazuya leaned a little toward her; providing Tsubaki comfort.
“You really are a nice person, Kazu-kun.” Hearing her praise made him a little embarrassed as he responded,
“Well…it was nothing. I am just good at boosting people’s confidence.”
A sigh leaked his lips, as Kazuya remembered something…well, his mind reeled back to those memories when he saw that little girl standing alone, but he decided to tell Tsubaki now.
“There was someone…just like that girl. Insecure, timid but excessively cute. She reminded me of her.” Kazuya was so engrossed in his memories that he didn’t notice, how Tsubaki’s body just turned stiff at the spot.
Tsubaki secretly glanced at him, expecting him to be looking at her with a knowing look…however, fortunately, he seemed rather too dazed to notice her.
‘I guess, he still doesn’t know…’ Tsubaki didn’t pry on the matter nor ask about his past anymore since she knew everything about Kazuya. And there was a solid chance that if she began asking, Kazuya would bring ‘that girl’ once again into the conversation
And Tsubaki didn’t want Kazuya to realize that his Tsuka was none other than Tsubaki.

Soon the duo met with others inside the shrine to look around the place.
It was a decent sightseeing spot for visitors. The shrine was made in a wide area with the position of the falling sun just behind the temple. The atmosphere of the place was elevated by the numerous flower beds and also the temperature was serene.
“Hey…wanna buy charms?” As Tsubaki and Kazuya advanced toward their friends, Sayo asked in a borderline bored tone.
She didn’t seem to be interested in this trip much.
“Hmm?” Tsubaki took a glance near the shrine…only to find her head nodding in assent to the suggestion upon witnessing the number of girls taking pictures there.
She just didn’t want her Kazuya-kun to be in any of those pictures, even by accident.
Soon, the small group of four advanced toward the shops nearby where all the charms were being sold along with some exclusive souvenirs.
Kazuya’s eyes drew toward, kaiun omamori which was basically the charm of happiness and peace. He decided it would be best if he bought it for Tsubaki’s parents along with a souvenir.
“Ka-zu-ya-kun~”
“Hmm?” Kazuya turned to look at Sayo, who was being pulled back by a panicked Tsubaki for some reason.
“Sayo-chan, no!” Looking closely, there were tears forming at the corner of Tsubaki’s eyes as well…which made Kazuya intrigued by what Sayo had to say.
“You know what kind of Omamori, your precious Tsubaki wants?”
“Don’t tell him, Sayo-chan!!”
By now, Tsubaki looked fanatic while Kunimi just sighed in a corner, already aware of what this was all about.
However, all of Kazuya’s attention soon converged in a single direction when Sayo put an amulet in his hand wordlessly…making his mind entirely numb.
It was an Anzan Omamori.
