My Little Sister Suddenly Confessed to Me, but What Am I Supposed to Do by Dating My Little Sister? - Chapter 45 & 46 & 47
Chapter 45: My… Bride?
My sister, her face slightly flushed and in an agitated state, directed her hostility openly at the President with her question.
“Fufufu.”
The President laughed.
A gong rang in my head. Kaaaan.
“What’s so funny?! I’m asking seriously!”
Everyone around was dumbfounded. Shiroi-sensei had even leaned back so far she nearly fell out of her chair. Don’t use teleportation.
After briefly showing a fearless smile, the President returned to her archaic smile and began to answer.
“I apologize for laughing. Shiori-san, you love your older brother very much, don’t you? How enviable. But please rest assured—I have no intention of taking your precious older brother from you.”
My sister stepped forward. She was probably about to say that wasn’t an answer. However, the President preempted her and answered.
“He was eating outside, and an insect had landed on his head. Though I knew it was rude, I merely brushed it off for him.”
“Wasn’t the President the bad bug?”
“Fufufu, you are quite entertaining, Shiori-san. I would like to join your many friends as one among them. I believe we could get along well.”
She replied politely in polite tones.
“I apologize.”
Get along well—in other words, I won’t lay a hand on him. Did she read those hidden words? My sister sat down and apologized, ostensibly to everyone.
“Thank you. I am glad you understand.”
Scary. That was scary. Knowing both the President’s hidden face and my sister’s feelings toward me, I couldn’t say anything. I was completely intimidated. With nothing but girls around me, I felt like if by some chance I got ranked high on Narou (a web novel site), I’d be terrified like being surrounded by nothing but published authors.
“Um, now that the misunderstanding is cleared up, shall we decide on future matters?”
Perhaps feeling this couldn’t continue, Shiroi-sensei proposed in the chilly atmosphere.
“Indeed. But it’s a bit late to discuss things now. Let’s start from next time. Do you two have any plans next week?”
“Not particularly.”
It hadn’t been that long, so I thought we could start now, but in this atmosphere, nothing productive would come out anyway.
“Then, shall we meet next Tuesday? We can discuss future plans then.”
With that, we were dismissed—or rather, only my sister and I were dismissed. The two of us went outside.
“Onii-chan.”
“Fweh!”
“Let’s go home.”
“Ah, yeah.”
Without paying attention to me biting my tongue badly, we headed home.
There were some hot days now, and toward the end of May, we sometimes broke a sweat during the day in our winter uniforms. The uniform change was coming soon, but evenings were still a bit chilly. On the way home with my sister in such weather, she, who usually talks a lot, didn’t speak at all today—probably because of what happened. When I was about to call out to her out of worry, my sister finally started talking.
“Onii-chan, I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to say something like that, but I just…”
“Ah, yeah, it’s okay.”
“When I saw that President, I couldn’t hold back somehow…”
What couldn’t she hold back? The suspicion about the relationship between me and the President? I was thinking that when:
“That President seemed like she was lying about something. I don’t know what, but… so I tried to make her angry…”
“Eh?”
Hearing my sister’s words, a chill ran down my spine for a moment.
“But I didn’t think about how that would trouble you, Onii-chan. I’m the worst.”
For a moment, I thought about revealing the President’s hidden face right here. However, I hesitated, recalling the President’s words: “Whether it’s a surprise, a coincidence, or against your will, it’s all the same. If you expose me, I won’t let you off easy.” I didn’t think my sister would tell anyone else, but while I was thinking “what if,” my sister started talking and I lost the timing.
“I’m no good, am I? Even though Onii-chan is my top priority, I did something like that.”
“It’s not just today, but Shiori, you’re amazing, so I want you to stop worrying about me and prioritize yourself more and more.”
My sister stared at me intently.
“Ummmm, that’s that thing, right? Like the standard ending where you make up your mind to step aside for my sake or something?”
“Ummmm? Who are you talking to?”
“To you, of course, Onii-chan! That won’t fly! I absolutely won’t let you go. No matter what happens, you can’t escape me!”
My sister looked at me and stuck out her tongue (beeee).
“Fufufufu.”
Hearing my sister’s words, I couldn’t help but laugh, thinking it finally came.
“Hm?”
Not understanding the meaning of my laughter, my sister tilted her head while looking at my face.
“Shiori, it’s ‘sō wa tonya ga oroshimasen’ (that won’t fly), not ‘oroshimasu’.”
“Eh? Ah!”
“Even Shiori makes mistakes, huh?”
“That’s… obvious!”
“How’s that? You lost to me—frustrated, aren’t you?”
“Eh? I’m always losing to you, Onii-chan.”
“What are you saying? Academics, athletics—you’re better than me at everything…”
“No, that stuff isn’t a big deal. I just have to work hard. Onii-chan is way more amazing than me. I can’t beat you, Onii-chan. But I’m happy about that. I think you’re wonderful, Onii-chan.”
“That’s why I’m saying you’re overestimating me.”
“No. When it comes to what’s important, the only thing I beat you at, Onii-chan, is my feelings of loving you.”
“See, you’re making me embarrassed again…”
“Oh, and the number of friends, I guess.”
“Shiiii-ooo-riii! I told you not to say thaaat!”
“Ahahahaha.”
I tried to lightly chop my sister on the head, but she covered her head and dodged, so I tried another chop. While watching my sister run away laughing, I suddenly found myself thinking about three people.
My sister, the President, and Shiroi-sensei…
Chapter 46: Shiroi-sensei That Night
“Ahhhhh, what am I even dooooing?”
Shiroi Satomi, commonly known as Jud… (I’m starting to get scared of complaints), returned home, got in the bath, and recalled the events of the day.
Living alone, Satomi loved baths. She didn’t have a regular small unit bath—she liked this room, which had a bathtub as large as one in a nice hotel, so she decided to live here.
Well, given her height, she could probably stretch out her arms and legs even in a small unit bath, but still.
“I said it, I said it, I said it! But he really hadn’t noticed.”
Recalling what happened at lunch today, she held her head and writhed in agony.
“The day after the entrance ceremony, when he saw me in the classroom, he looked so shocked, so I thought he’d noticed for sure…”
She submerged her face in the bathtub and blew bubbles (buku buku). After blowing bubbles for a while and feeling short of breath, Satomi looked up and stretched her body.
“But why didn’t he say anything? I thought maybe he was embarrassed… but it turns out he really hadn’t noticed after all.”
“He was still cute, though… Yuu-kun…”
Still looking up, she relaxed, let go of the edge of the bathtub she’d been holding, fixed only her neck to the rim, and let her body float (pukari) in the bath.
If this scene were in an anime, mysterious beams of light would be shining in, wouldn’t they? (Of course, I haven’t thought about that even 1mm.)
“Eh? What am I thinking? He’s a student. That’s right, a student. All students are cute.”
She was self-aware that having special feelings for a specific student was the most forbidden thing for a teacher. Until now, she had held back because she believed she shouldn’t mix public and private matters.
However, when the Student Council President said that it would be impossible for just the four of them—including herself—to handle this project, and she thought about who to ask, the first person who came to mind was Hasemi Shiori. She had been made acutely aware of Shiori’s popularity and intelligence over the past month and a half. And at the same time she thought of Shiori, she also thought of her brother, Hasemi Yuu.
After the incident with Yuu, Satomi wanted to become a teacher. She hadn’t been able to do anything for a child. This time, she wanted to do something.
At first, she considered becoming an elementary school teacher, but when she told her teacher at the time:
“Um, I think it would be better if the age group was a bit older. Like, people won’t know who’s the student, or rather, with elementary and middle school students who are young in age, um, it becomes like a friend dynamic, or rather, you’d be mistaken for a student by the other teachers, or rather, it’d be a nuisance…”
She didn’t really understand, but after desperate persuasion, she decided to aim to become a high school teacher.
Yuu is the person who made me want to become a teacher. I want to do something with him. I want to be with him. I want him to notice me. This time, I want to do something. Various feelings became unbearable, and she thought she’d try inviting him.
“Haa, but I cried, didn’t I? I never thought I’d cry that much.”
So embarrassiiing!
“He must think I’m weird. Or rather, crying in front of a student is unthinkable. What happened to me?”
“Am I… conscious of him? N-no way. But there’s something like that, isn’t there? Like, little girl love or some complex or something. Ah, but that applies to men, so it doesn’t fit.”
By the way, Satomi isn’t an otaku, so she’s ignorant about this kind of talk. She’s only been doing twin-tails since high school. When introducing herself, a student once told her that saying “teleport” gets a good reaction, and when she actually said it, people burst out laughing, so she uses it. She was told she resembles someone from a certain anime, but since she’s never actually watched it, she doesn’t really understand what “teleport” means. By the way, she doesn’t know the word “shota” either.
“How many years apart are Yuu-kun and I? About 8 or 9 years? These days, that kind of gap isn’t that unusual—what am I thinking?!”
You look younger, though…
Satomi splashed (basha basha) her face in the bathtub.
“Ahh, what should I do? I can’t look at Yuu-kun’s face. It’s embarrassing. He’s a student, what should I do? Plus, from next week on, I’ll be seeing him after school… Am I happy? Ah, no, um…”
“No good. He’s a student. I’m a teacher. He’s a student. Teacher. Student. Kokoro. Mizuumi. Yuki no Hi. Kōkō Kyōshi. Kotonoha no… narrator…”
Being a Japanese teacher, books she’d read before about teachers and students floated into her head.
There’s no way something like that would happen in reality, she thought, leaning against the edge of the bathtub. Her face was reflected in the mirror in front of her.
Seeing her own face, a single phrase slipped from her lips:
“Shinobure do, iro ni ide ni keri waga koi wa, mono ya omou to… ka.”
When she saw her face reflected in the mirror, it suddenly came to mind—a waka from the Hyakunin Isshu(One Hundred People, One Poem Each) by Taira no Kanemori. A love I’ve endured and hidden, yet it shows on my face—people will know I’m in love, the poem says. (T/N: <- This refers to the above romaji writing, the shinobure. Take note that wakas, a type of japanese poetry, do not have official authoritative english translations, therefore this is only my interpretation of the poem, which coincides with most professional’s interpretation.)
Was that flushed, feverish face due to the bath, or was it…
And what concerned her even more was Shiori from today.
“That was the first time I saw Shiori-san angry. In class, she’s so beloved by everyone and never stops smiling, but just from someone touching her brother’s head… Even if it was just patting, that level of anger…”
She sensed a dangerous aura even more intense than between herself and Yuu, but she shook her head, thinking she shouldn’t think about such things.
“President Aoi, Yuu-kun, and Shiori-san—the three of them seem to have some kind of connection.”
“Is there something going on between those three? Yuu-kun seemed scared of Aoi-san.”
Her own matters. Aoi’s matters. Yuu’s matters. Shiori’s matters. Her head spun round and round and round…
“Ahhhhh, I got dizzy from the heeeeat!”
After staying in the bath for hours thinking, with blood rushing to her head over Yuu, of course she’d get dizzy.
Satomi desperately got out of the bathroom and crawled (zuri zuri) into her room, still naked.
“What if someone drew or filmed me like this…?”
But you don’t look like that…

Chapter 47: My Sister’s Room
Our school isn’t a prep school, so we have Saturdays and Sundays off. On weekends, Mom’s schedule depends on her shifts, but Dad is usually home unless he has a business trip.
Because of that, we have our usual flirty time with tea with my sister in the living room. Um, after-school flirty tea time. In short, “After-School Tea-Tea Time.” The trick is changing the “flirt” (icha) in ichaicha to “tea” (cha). Um, please don’t press the X button in the top right corner. I’m sorry. (If possible, please don’t remove your bookmark either… I’ll seriously get sick.)
Well, we’re not actually flirting, though. At least not in my mind…
This story begins in the living room on a Friday before a day off.
Lately, my sister’s demands have been increasing daily. Take me for a walk. Take me on a date. Take me to Akihabara…
As always, I haven’t gone to otaku shops, but my sister really stands out. On top of that, she has a lot of friends—from my perspective, it’s beyond “a lot,” but seriously, leave me alone.
Going out with my sister every week goes beyond being close siblings, doesn’t it?
However:
“Ehhhh, I want to talk on days off toooo! Even if it’s just in Onii-chan’s room!”
When I said we should stop going out this week, my sister suggested having tea in my room.
Hmm, my room, huh…
It’s kind of weird for a sister to be constantly going in and out of her brother’s room. During the endurance study session for midterms the other day, every time I went to the bathroom, she snuck into my bed multiple times saying “Wake me up when you’re done with that, Onii-chan.” Think about how I feel sleeping there afterward. It makes my heart race, you know?
When I told my sister that, she played dumb about the bed thing and said: “Come to think of it, Onii-chan, you really haven’t come to my room lately.”
“No, I mean, when we were little it was fine, but it’s hard to enter the room of a middle or high school sister. I don’t know about other siblings, but that’s how I feel.”
“Ehhhh, Onii-chan can come anytime! When I’m studying, when I’m sleeping, when I’m changing—”
“No, if I do come in, I’ll knock and wait for a response.”
At this point, my sister would probably open the door even while changing, which makes me even less inclined to go.
“Alright! Then, let’s take this opportunity to have you come into my room tomorrow or the day after and get used to it!”
“Haa?”
“If you want, both tomorrow and the day after are fine.”
“Wait, two days?”
“From tomorrow through the day after is fine too.”
“That’s a sleepover.”
“Forever is fine too.”
“That’s living together.”
“Living together with Onii-chan, ehehehehe.”
“No, we’re already living together.”
Let’s end this comedy routine with my sister here. Anyway, we decided I’d visit her room over the weekend.
Since Mom is home on Saturday, we decided to do the room visit on Sunday.
However, on Sunday, Dad unusually went out in the morning, so now it’s just the two of us. I said Isn’t the living room fine? but she refused.
Uu, my sister is getting more and more selfish…
Can’t be helped. I went to my sister’s room and knocked.
“Yeees.”
“Don’t ‘yeees’ me. I’m coming in.”
When I opened the door, my sister was standing there wearing a light blue mini flare dress with a white frilly apron, white knee-highs, and a large black ribbon attached like cat ears.
I quietly closed the door and tried to return to my room, but my sister opened the door, stuck her face out, smiled brightly, and beckoned me over.
Unable to help it, I turned on my heel and questioned her in front of the door.
“Um, what is that outfit?”
“I tried to look like a maid. Do I?”
“You do, but why are you dressed like that?”
“Hmm, for the mood? And because I thought Onii-chan would like it.”
“Again?”
“Also, because you won’t take me there.”
“You really wanted to go, huh?”
Well, I’ll take you someday. I’ve never been either.
“Well then, please come in, Onii-chan!!”
I don’t really understand what my sister is getting fired up about, but I went into the room for now.
Entering the room for the first time in years, it smelled sweetly of citrus. The room was overall pinkish, but not too flashy—fairly close to normal, actually. A desk, a bed, a bookshelf, and a few stuffed animals. There doesn’t seem to be a hidden door behind the bookshelf either.
Seeing me looking around, my sister passed by me, opened the closet door in front of it, and pointed to the drawer under the colorful clothes.
“Onii-chan, my underwear is here. The second drawer.”
“No, I didn’t ask, so you don’t need to tell me.”
What was in the second drawer? No, no, no.
“Ehhhh, I wanted to ask which kind Onii-chan likes.”
“Why would you ask that?”
“To make it my winning underwear!”
“We’re not competing!!”
I’d definitely lose…
Already exhausted, I staggered over to the round table in the middle of the room and shakily sat down on a cute bear cushion.
Seeing me sit, my sister stood next to me.
“Welcome, Master. M-master… husband… ehehehehe.”
Ahh, our maid doesn’t do her job.
“Heeeey, Miss Maid, can I order?”
Snapping to attention, she hurriedly corrected herself.
“Onii-chan, what do you want to drink?”
Is this a little sister café? That’s just what it is, isn’t it?
“You should have coffee. Coffee is all we have.”
Is this a tsundere café?
“What else do you have, Onii-chan?”
I have no idea.
Perhaps out of material, my sister finally poured coffee from a pot and placed it in front of me. I politely declined the moe moe kyun, and my sister, having removed her apron, sat in front of me. Finally, our usual tea time. We each took a sip and relaxed.
My sister smiled sweetly, and I thought we’d start our usual chat, but instead—
“Now then, Onii-chan, can you tell me what happened between you, President Aoi, and Shiroi-sensei?”
My sister’s eyes… her eyes are scaaary…
So the finale is a yandere café?!
