My Little Sister Is the Best F*p Material - Volume 5 Chapter 9: All for Miyu
Volume 5 Chapter 9: All for Miyu
The place I chose to talk with Haruka was an Italian restaurant in a department store near the station. The interior was stylish and cozy, but the prices were similar to a family restaurant. In front of the menu board, several people were waiting for someone. Among them was a stunningly beautiful girl, dressed in a slightly mature outfit with a white shirt that caught everyone’s attention. Her presence drew the gaze of passersby.
Everyone must have wondered what kind of man she was waiting for. Some might have felt a twinge of jealousy just thinking about it. And the person she was waiting for was, surprisingly, me. It felt like a harem eroge scenario, with special events involving beautiful girls happening left and right. But I mustn’t forget that all of this is thanks to Miyu’s absolute authority.
I approached Haruka, who was standing still with her hands neatly in front of her, not even touching her smartphone. As I drew near, she turned her face toward me, her hair swaying. Her fluffy twin-tailed updo, her doll-like skin, and her bright, moist eyes—all of it felt real, with a warmth that completed her human form. No matter how close I became to Miyu, Haruka’s beauty remained unchanged.
“It’s been a day since we last met, Onii-san.”
“Sorry I’m late. This is the first time we’ve met just the two of us.”
“You don’t have to be so nervous. I’m not here to talk about anything scary. Shall we go in?”
Haruka, who entered first, requested a seat in the back, and we sat down. The female waitress who made eye contact with Haruka seemed slightly flushed and delighted, showcasing her talent as a heartbreaker. Even after spending intense years with Haruka, I never developed romantic feelings for her, which makes sense why Miyu insists she’s not a lesbian.
As soon as we sat down, I ordered a set of soup and baguette, the same as Haruka, since I wasn’t particularly hungry either. After some small talk and our drinks arrived, the tension eased, and we got to the main topic.
“Haruka, you wanted to talk to me about Miyu and Yuka, right?”
“Yes. There are some things Miyu might find hard to say directly, so I thought I’d be the one to talk about it.”
“Couldn’t you have just called or chatted?”
“As you can imagine, I don’t usually have face-to-face conversations with men. But that’s precisely why I wanted to do this. Sorry for indulging my whim.”
“It’s fine with me.”
For Haruka, who became a lesbian because she’s so into girls, men must be an unfamiliar, almost alien existence. And as Miyu’s brother, I’m a uniquely interesting subject for her.
“So, let’s get to the point. What’s your impression of Yuka?”
“Hmm? Well… she seems kind of dumb and persistent. She’s so obsessed with Miyu that it’s warped her personality, and she keeps pulling pranks to get her attention, but it always backfires… I guess.”
That’s been my impression of Yuka since the beginning. But lately, her behavior has shown a different side. She might not be good at studying, but she’s not completely hopeless either. Her memory is impressive when it comes to mischief, and maybe she’s just smart about things she’s interested in. Or perhaps her clumsiness is an act to get Miyu’s attention. And her feelings for Miyu seem to have shifted entirely to me, though without the same level of obsession she had for Miyu.
“Lately, she feels more like a straightforward, big sister type. Surprisingly, she’s a good person.”
Maybe Miyu’s discipline is turning her into a decent person. When Yuka comforted me after I was rejected by Yamamoto, she was someone I could rely on.
“Well, I think she’s a hard worker. She’s pretty resilient and not entirely unlikable.”
As I spoke, Haruka chuckled.
“You’ve fallen for her?”
“Except for when she was pranking Miyu.”
If it weren’t for that, Yuka would be a perfectly charming girl. Rather, her pranking habit, which ruins her many good qualities, feels a bit abnormal. It’s as if she’s forcing herself to be that way, which is hard to understand. Before, I just thought of her as that kind of person.
“Since I wasn’t directly affected by her pranks, my negative impression of her isn’t that strong. She’s fun to talk to. If she’s genuinely reflecting on her past actions… well, I like her.”
“I see. Hearing that reassures me.”
Haruka started eating the meal served by the waitress while continuing the conversation.
“Just as I thought, you’ve been negatively influenced.”
Then she took a big bite of the baguette, her small, animal-like movements adorable.
“I won’t deny that you two have warped my preferences.”
“Considering you’re already involved with your real sister, I’d say it’s beyond our influence.”
These two really don’t hold back with their blunt truths. I wish they’d show a little more empathy.
“Is it bad if I’ve fallen for her?”
“No, not at all. Both Miyu and I like Yuka. We’re just worried you might follow the same path as Miyu. In your current state, you can’t have sex with Yuka.”
“Huh? What?”
Miyu said something similar, but why would I end up having sex with Yuka?
“Could you explain that more clearly?”
As I asked for help, Haruka twirled a strand of hair near her temple, separate from her twin tails, and pondered for a moment before looking at me.
“Actually, Yuka has confessed to quite a few people besides Miyu.”
“That’s surprising. I thought she only had eyes for Miyu.”
“She’s been approaching you for quite some time, hasn’t she?”
“There were special circumstances involved.”
Yuka only asked me for sex because she wanted my sperm to become Miyu’s sister-in-law. She hasn’t asked for sex with a condom like she does now.
“… Wait, what? She said she had no experience with men, but she’s been rejected every time she confessed?”
“She’s always been a prankster and a bit of a smart-ass. The negative image that comes with dating Yuka—the fear of bad rumors—has been a fatal obstacle. Individually, people often speak favorably of her, though.”
“Looks like she’ll have to wait until she changes schools.”
Even someone as unattractive as me wouldn’t agree to date Yuka, given her prankster nature, no matter how much she liked me. Especially not during their teenage years.
“So, her obsession with Miyu and me was just part of those confessions?”
“If only it were that simple.”
Haruka scooped up the remaining soup with her spoon and gracefully drank it without making a sound. I tried to mimic her across the table, but eating as quietly as Haruka was incredibly difficult. If this is just to perfect her lolita appearance, it’s an astonishing level of dedication.
“Miyu and you are the only ones who’ve been kind to Yuka. That’s why you two are so important to her.”
“… And what about you, Haruka?”
“As a friend, I suppose. I’m a lesbian, so I’m very picky about women. Yuka knows that, so she doesn’t try to cross the line from friendship.”
“I see.”
After that, Haruka took a sip of water from her glass, pausing the conversation.
“As for the ‘more clearly’ part, I can’t reveal the full picture because Yuka might catch on. I’m sorry.”
“And you want me to cooperate without knowing the full story?”
From our conversation so far, I understand that I’m the only one who can help. Yuka has her own troubles, and she’s more liked by others than I thought.
I care about Haruka and the others, and Yuka helped me get closer to Miyu, so I want to help if she’s in trouble. But I’m with Miyu now, so I want to prioritize our future together.
“Of course, I’m not asking you to do something unreasonable like Yuka does. This will benefit you in the long run too. It’s a win-win for everyone.”
“Can’t you at least tell me why?”
“Unfortunately not. Just trust that I know Miyu better than anyone. Explaining now would only confuse you.”
Haruka stubbornly avoids revealing the core issue. She’s worried that if I know the full story, my attitude toward Yuka might change. Since I’m not as perceptive as Miyu, she’s relying on me in a different way.
“Are you trying to get me to end up with Yuka so you can be with Miyu?”
“Even if I were with Miyu, she wouldn’t be happy. So, that’s absolutely not the case. I love Miyu.”
“… I see.”
Well, that makes sense. I knew that already.
“Whether I agree or not, what should I do?”
“Fulfill Yuka’s wish. That’s all.”
Haruka’s words were straightforward, but I knew there was a complex intention behind them. She’s asking me to grant Yuka’s wish based only on the information I have now, without knowing the full story. Since Yuka’s wish is to have intimate sex with me, if I accept this proposal, that’s what will eventually happen.
“Can I tell Miyu about today’s conversation?”
“Go ahead. You couldn’t keep secrets from Miyu even if you tried. The same goes for the next topic.”
From Haruka’s confident response, I knew this wasn’t some kind of trap. She’s aware that I can’t keep secrets from Miyu, so she’s asking for my help with that in mind. There’s no need for excessive caution. Besides, it would be unfair to doubt someone Miyu considers a close friend.
“Got it. I’ll think about it and do what I can. So, what’s this about Miyu?”
“Let me have sex with Miyu.”
Her request was so direct that I froze for a few seconds.
“Honestly, from my perspective, it’s not a big deal anymore, so I don’t really mind. But can you tell me the reason?”
“You know Miyu’s hobbies, right? As her brother, you’d want her to continue her hobbies, so I’ll explain based on that. If my relationship with Miyu suddenly ends, it would cause a lot of trouble for her.”
Miyu relies on Haruka for many aspects of her hobby, such as renting clothes, custom-made mounting boards, and having basic designs for her outfits made by professionals. Even the travel expenses, accommodations, and local transportation for photoshoots are all arranged through Haruka’s connections.
As her boyfriend, I’d want Miyu to continue her lolita hobby while ending her relationship with Haruka, but I don’t think that would be fair to Miyu. Her hobby includes all these elements, and it’s part of the Miyu I fell in love with. Criticizing it now would be like denying Miyu herself.
Of course, Miyu wouldn’t say that. I understand her personality better than anyone. She’s the type to endure disadvantages for the sake of duty. So, Haruka and I will have to come to an agreement, and then let Miyu and Haruka handle things on their own.
“I’ll leave it to Miyu and Haruka. Miyu is my important girlfriend, but… more than that, she’s been my family for so long. I know it sounds confusing, but that’s why I don’t want to interfere too much.”
“… I see.”
When I said that, Haruka gave a meaningful chuckle.
“Did I say something strange?”
“No, I just thought you’re definitely Miyu’s brother. Don’t worry. It won’t last long.”
Her words made me feel a bit lonely, but sensing my mood, Haruka added, “Think of it like a nestling leaving the nest,” offering a positive perspective. With that, our information exchange under the guise of Haruka’s consultation ended, and we left the restaurant.
Outside the department store, there was a passage leading to the station. Haruka needed to go to the annex bookstore, which required passing through a different gate, while I planned to head to the bus stop in the opposite direction.
“──Just go already! How long do you need to be kept waiting?”
“I’m going, I’m going! But I’m just thirsty and want a drink…”
“How many times have you gone back and forth between the restroom and the vending machine now?”
Two familiar voices reached my ears, and I instinctively looked for the source. Our eyes met. It was the classmate I had just rejected a few days ago, and we recognized each other from a distance of about the length of a classroom.
(Yamamoto-san…!? I can’t believe she’s here…)
Encountering Yamamoto-san, the person I’m most awkward with right now. She must feel the same, and we both tried to pretend we didn’t notice each other, quickly looking away. But Kawafuji, standing next to her, wouldn’t let that happen.
“It’s Sotomichi, isn’t it? Perfect timing.”
Despite Haruka being right next to me—someone Kawafuji was meeting for the first time—she didn’t hesitate to approach. Yamamoto hid behind Kawafuji’s back, quietly following.
“You’re not on a date, are you? Can I have a word with you?”
Kawafuji immediately sensed the distance between me and Haruka and boldly grabbed my arm, pulling me back into the department store we had just left.
