Chapter 14: Elder Sister and the room for confessions.

““Gouchisousama deshita.””

“How was it? Did you like it?”

“Yes, it was really delicious.”

After dinner, Kousuke and Ren sat down and talked. It was Kousuke’s first time trying moussaka, but he found it to be very delicious.

“…Oh, it’s already this late.”

Looking at the time, it was the usual time for Ren to head home.

“Well then, I guess, I will head home for today.”

And goes to see her off at the entrance, but…

“Nee-chan?”

Nee-san didn’t make a single move from there.

‘Just what’s wrong’,

“Say, Kou-kun, there’s something you want to ask me, right?”

Kousuke had been suppressing the desire to ask Ren about the questions based on the conversations he had with Risa.

“Ren… No, Nishimiya Ren… Are you… really my older Elder Sister?”

Ren opened her mouth and froze.

Kousuke was also surprised by her unexpected reaction, so they both fell into a silence.

The awkward silence was broken by Ren’s deep sigh.

Ren held her head in her hands.

“If you doubt me that much, then let’s go to my room right now!!”

“Eh…? To your room, Ren-san?”

“Yes, that’s right. In my room, there are lots of mementos of our memories together. If I show you those, Even you’ll have to understand, won’t you.”

Ren asks him that, but given Kousuke is a teenager, who was in the midst of adolescence,

This was not all that he was going through in his mind now.

(Eh!? Going to Ren-san’s room now? To a room of a girl same age to mine!? …But Ren-san is my Elder Sister, …wait! Aren’t I doubting that right now… Doesn’t that mean… What should I do!?)

Ren stood up.

“Come on, Kou-kun, get up! Let’s go already!!”

She grabbed Kousuke’s hand and forcefully pulled him along, while he was still undecided, taking him with her into her room.
