My Ex-Elder Sister Shifter Next Door to me
Volume 3:
Relations that heads for a change.
Prologue
“Ren-san, … just now, what did you just.”
“Didn’t you hear me well? I, Nishimiya Ren, am Kou-kun’s ex-elder sister. …I’m back, Kou-kun♡”
Saying that, Ren-san showed a somewhat eerie and frightening yet beautiful smile.
(…Wh–what does she mean? Ren-san is my ex-elder sister?)
Kosuke has been in bed because he has been ill, and on top of that, something unimaginable was happening right in front of his eyes.
Because of which, he just can’t get his head right around it.
“But still, knowing such a thing all of a sudden does make one quite troubled. Well then, I will be going to my apartment for now. If something goes wrong, do contact me, okay?”
Saying that, Ren went out his room. Looking at that sight with stunned demeanour, Kousuke could do nothing but just look at it all take place in front of him blankly.”
“…tte, wait, Ren!”
In sometime Hina came back to her senses and followed after Ren.
“….. But what do you exactly mean by that…”
Kousuke, being left behind, could do nothing more than be surprised and confused at what the situation had just become.
[Ren POV]
“Wait a minute over there!!”
Right when she was about to leave Kousuke’s apartment to get back to her own, Hina called from behind.
“What happened Hina?”
“What happened?!”
“Since I left the place beside Kou-kun to you for now, you should stay by his side. Else, Kou-kun will miss you, you know?”
“Wha! … What are you playing at?”
“What am I playing?”
“The fact that you said to Kou-kun that you were his elder sister!!”
Hina closed the distance between them.
“What’s wrong with that? ……, I just said that which is the truth.”
“Of course that’s bad! Didn’t I say earlier, that for Kou-chan, Ren is nothing but danger.”
“…Say, did Ko-kun say that?”
“…That’s…”
“If he didn’t, then it’s none of my business.”
“Wha! Ren, you, don’t tell me, are you still planning to hurt Ko-chan after all this?”
“I’ve no intentions of hurting him. and moreover, what right do you have to interfere with a family reunion?”
“That’s…”
I glared at her as I said that. Hina flinched and couldn’t say anything.
(I’m sorry, Hina, But I’ll be taking advantage by your weakness right now.)
“Hina, I, I am really grateful to you, It was because of you that Kou-kun has grown up to be such a fine man.”
Ren took Hina’s hand and squeezed it gently
“But this is something that is, a story concerning our family. So…”
(I know you, my best friend. You tried to help him before at first. But that time, you made things even worse than what it already was for him; and also the fact of how much you regret doing that.)
And when such Hina, who had this regret still in her conscience, was given an argument using ‘family’s internal matters’ as a shield, so don’t get involved…
What would happen?
“It’s not fair to …………, If you say it’s your ‘family’s internal matter’ I can’t do anything at all about that anymore.”
“Un, I’m sorry, I clearly understand your reage.”
Ren and Hina stared straight at each other.
“…… promise me one thing. Please don’t do anything that can hurt Ko-chan, as much as possible.”
“Un, I understand that very well. Thank you, Hina.”
After that, Hina reluctantly returned to Kou-kun’s side.
Her stature while going back was of someone who is reluctant and regretful of what had just happened.
“That you Hina, You are really are too kind…”
