Senpai and Ko-Kun ①
“Senpai, how are you feeling?”
A few hours had gone by after I left the bedroom. About the time when the sun was already starting to set, I came in again to check on Senpai’s condition. I’d also been coming in to check on her from time to time. It seems she was sleeping soundly even now.
“You’ve been sleeping so soundly, Senpai. You must have been very sick.”
In fact, when she told me that she would be going back to see her parents, she looked a little down, which made me worried.
“Senpai… I wonder if she is not getting along with her family very well? … Haaah Well, I’m not in a position to comment though.”
A weird laugh went out of my mouth.
“Well, I guess I will make some porridge in the meantime.”
When I was about to leave the bedroom and turned my back to Senpai.
“Nn.”
A~h. sorry.
Did I wake her up?
“Mnn…… K–ou–ku–n?”
*dokun.
I’m sorry.
I break out in cold sweats yet again.
I’ll definitely meet you again.
No, not again.
Ko–u, kun…
That can never be.
*Don!
I Hit the wall hard.
“Calm down… haaah… That can be true. …. And here I thought that I’d totally forgotten about it already.”
“…… Kosuke-kun?”
When I turned around, I saw Senpai staring at me with concern.
Her facial complexion… seems a lot better now.
“I’m Senpai, did I wake you up? How are you feeling?”
“Un, I feel much better after having a good sleep.”
Hearing those words, I patted my chest to calm down.
“By the way, what happened just now? I heard a loud noise nearby.”
“Haaaa-haaaaa, I became a bit flustered.”
“I–I see? Are you hurt anywhere?
I am glad she didn’t seem to have noticed.
“Yes, I’m fine. By the way, would you like to eat something now, Senpai?”
“U~uun, I don’t think I have much of an appetite right now.”
“I see. Just in case, I’ll make some porridge; so if you feel like having it.
“I feel like having some.”
“Eh?”
“I suddenly have an appetite now.”
“I, I see. Then, I’ll go make some then.”
“Un, I’ll be waiting.”
I went towards the kitchen to make porridge.
