Episode 6: My 4th Year Girlfriend Is Busy With Tasks

Because of the teasing Natsuki in her school uniform, I, battered and bruised in various ways, look at Natsuki.

Natsuki has already taken off her uniform, taken a shower, and changed into her usual clothes.

Suddenly, I asked Natsuki about something I remembered.

Sometimes, students gather in the summer for a seminar camp.

The camp consists of study sessions held in a different location from usual.

Depending on the professor, it might include visits to historically significant tourist spots, river rafting in nature-rich areas, or exercising at sports facilities affiliated with the school.

By the way, the seminar group that Natsuki and I belong to is known for its rigorous study sessions. It’s famous for having minimal entertainment, with student presentations of essays being the main focus and quite boring.

And this camp contributes to our grades as well.

In short, for us university students, it’s a relatively important event…

So, I was concerned if Natsuki had finished preparing for it.

“I’ve already packed my stuff though?”

“No, what I’m worried about is not packing. I mean, whether you’ve prepared the slides summarizing the content of the essay you’ll present at the camp…”

“Oh, that… ”

Natsuki suddenly looked awkward.

It undoubtedly indicated that she hadn’t prepared it.

“Your luggage is ready, but you haven’t finished that… ”

“I just forgot.”

“I’ve realized that university students can be surprisingly careless.”

I can totally understand Natsuki’s feelings.

You can pass a course even if you skip one-third of the lectures and just manage to get a passing grade on tests. It’s completely different from high school…

As I nodded, Natsuki sat down at the PC desk in my room.

“…Are you going to do it here?”

“I’ve saved the data on the cloud.”

“I want to play games as usual though?”

If she uses the computer, I can’t play games.

When I expressed my dissatisfaction, Natsuki said to me with a serious face.

“I’m not confident I can finish it alone.”

In summary, she wanted me to watch over her as she complete the slides for the seminar camp presentation from behind.

“Well… fine.”

“I can wear that uniform again later.”

Natsuki readily agreed to wear the uniform she was wearing earlier again.

It seems she really doesn’t have confidence in finishing it alone.

“Also, I want to use that computer for games, so you can use this one.”

I handed Natsuki a fairly high-performance notebook computer that I bought because it was recommended by the university but I haven’t used much.

“Oh, I guess I don’t need to use this computer for that… ”

Natsuki placed the notebook computer on the low table in the middle of the room and started moving her fingers to complete the task.

I looked from behind to see how much progress she had made, but I couldn’t help but grimace at how bad it was.

“Are you going to finish that?”

“I said I forgot about it, right? …Well, worst-case scenario, I’ll apologize.”

Saying that, Natsuki started working on the task in front of her.

I was concerned about Natsuki, who didn’t seem to be making much progress.

“Is everything okay?”

“It’s tough because there were clearly some mistakes in the content…”

Natsuki said with a distant look in her eyes.

It seems there were mistakes in the content of the essay she prepared to make the slides.

Fixing them will take a considerable amount of time.

“By the way, you haven’t eaten anything, are you okay?”

“Don’t worry about it.”

“Alright.”

Even though she said not to worry, I felt reluctant to leave Natsuki alone and go eat outside by myself.

So, I decided to eat cup ramen that I had prepared in advance.

While Natsuki, who was struggling, was beside me with a determined look, I slurped up the finished cup ramen.

It was a simple meal, but that’s what a meal for a broke student is like.

As I took a few bites of the cup ramen, Natsuki turned to me and opened her mouth wide.

I couldn’t ignore her gesture asking for food, like a baby bird begging for food.

I fed Natsuki some of the ramen.

While I think it’s cute, I complained to Natsuki.

“Geez, you should have said you wanted to eat when I asked earlier.”

“No, I just wanted it because I saw Minato eating.”

Natsuki said as if she were innocent.

And then, she opened her mouth wide again and begged me for more.

“…Sigh.”

Since there was no helping it, I decided to eat a different cup ramen.

I handed over all the remaining ramen to my selfish girlfriend.

“So, are you almost done?”

“It might take another four hours.”

“That’s long.”

Once again, I fed Natsuki some ramen.

After chewing it, Natsuki replied to me.

“I made a lot of mistakes in the preparation stage, that’s why.”

“By the way, why did you forget?”

“…Well, I’ve been wanting to do various things lately.”

“What do you mean by ‘various things’?”

“Ah, just various things…”

“Is it something you shouldn’t tell me?”

With her hesitating speech, I asked her forcefully.

Then, Natsuki told me with a slightly pained expression.

“Yeah, it’s really something I shouldn’t tell you. So, don’t ask.”
