My childhood friend got me drunk and did it with me. I think it felt really good, so I continued being with her as well. ...Yandere? what is that? - Chapter 8
Chapter 8: A Waking Nightmare? Or…
[Natsume’s POV]
Warmth.
Even though it is still the middle of night.
That’s the first thing I feel.
A soft, comforting heat pressing against me, wrapping around me like a protective cocoon.
My mind is still foggy, what happened yesterday? Why can’t I remember?
I felt my thoughts lingering between the realms of sleep and wakefulness, but something feels… off.
I remember being incredibly scared… but why?
And this,
Familiar, yet unfamiliar.
The air smells different. A faint sweetness, mixed with something floral.
This isn’t my apartment.
And then came a realization, even stranger than reality.
Uncovering the cause of the gentle weight against my chest.
Light, almost barely there, but unmistakable.
Someone’s hand.
Slowly, my brain starts piecing things together.
Memories from yesterday filter in.
Miyuki.
The house.
The handcuffs.
The cooking.
The absurd declaration of “Now we’re dating.”
My body tenses as I force my eyes open.
And the first thing I see—
Long, silky black hair cascading over the blankets.
Soft, pale skin.
Delicate fingers resting against my chest, rising and falling slightly with each breath.
Miyuki.
She’s right next to me.
No—
She’s on me.
Not fully, but close enough that I can feel the warmth of her body radiating through the thin layer of my shirt.
Her lips are slightly parted, her long lashes resting against her cheeks, her expression serene, peaceful… almost angelic.
Almost.
But I know better.
This isn’t an angel.
This is the same woman who had kidnapped me.
And yet—
I can’t deny the fact that she looks absolutely stunning like this.
As I thought, is it really alright for me to have her? Am I not way out of her league?
I shake my head. No, no, NO. That’s not what I must think.
This is all kinds of messed up.
I need to get out of here.
My heart pounds as I carefully shift, trying to slide out from under her touch without waking her.
But the moment I move—
“…Nnn…”
She stirs.
Her fingers tighten slightly against my chest.
Her brows furrow, lips parting as if murmuring something in her sleep.
And then—
Suddenly, her eyes flutter open.
Deep violet.
Warm.
Intense.
For a moment, she just stares at me, as if caught between dreams and reality.
Then, slowly, her lips curve into a soft, sleepy smile.
“…Good morning, Natsume~”
Oh.
Oh no.
I freeze, my body rigid as she pushes herself up slightly, her hair cascading down over her shoulder in waves.
She looks utterly unbothered by our position.
Like this is the most natural thing in the world.
Like she always wakes up in my bed.
It was that natural.
“W-wait—” I start, but she cuts me off.
She tilts her head slightly, lifting her hand—
And suddenly, her fingers weave through my hair.
A slow, deliberate movement.
Soft.
Soothing.
And way too familiar.
“There, there.” Her voice is gentle, too gentle. “You look so stiff, Natsume~ Are you still nervous? Did you have a bad dream?”
My jaw tightens.
Yes, I did.
And it’s called reality.
I try to pull back, but she follows effortlessly, keeping close, her nails lightly grazing my scalp as she continues to stroke my hair.
Wait, why is my thighs wet? Don’t tell me…
“Y-you…” I swallow hard. “You were touching me while I was asleep, weren’t you?”
Miyuki blinks innocently.
“Of course I was.”
…
…Huh?
She says it so casually, as if she were merely commenting on the weather.
Before I can even respond, she leans in closer.
Too close.
Her breath brushes against my skin, and a chill runs down my spine.
“How could I resist?” she murmurs, fingers trailing down my forehead, my cheek… my jaw.
I tense.
Then, those same fingers glide lower.
Down my neck.
Down my chest.
Stopping right at my abs.
I swear my entire body locks up.
“M-Miyuki—”
She presses her palm against my stomach, a small, pleased hum escaping her lips.
“…So firm,” she muses, as if she’s simply admiring her property.
I feel violated.
And yet—
A shiver runs through me.
Not of fear.
Not entirely, at least.
She smirks.
“What’s with that look?” she teases, tilting her head. “Embarrassed? Shy? You’re so cute, Natsume~”
I immediately grab her wrist and move her hand away.
No.
Nope.
Not happening.
Not today.
Not ever.
“Okay, okay—what the hell is wrong with you?!” I hiss, trying to sound as firm as possible despite the heat creeping up my face.
Miyuki pouts.
“Ara~? I’m just showing affection to my dear boyfriend.”
“WE ARE NOT—”
She cuts me off.
With a kiss.
A soft, feather-light press against my cheek.
It happens so fast that my brain doesn’t even process it until she’s already pulled back, smiling sweetly.
“…Nn…? Did you just…”
“That’s your morning kiss, Natsume~”
Morning.
Kiss.
I am losing my mind.
I scramble back, nearly falling off the bed.
Miyuki watches, giggling.
Giggle.
Like a wife amused by her husband’s flustered reaction.
Like she didn’t just completely cross all personal boundaries.
“D-don’t just—don’t just kiss me like that!!” I sputter.
She tilts her head, eyes innocent.
“Why not? Isn’t it normal for lovers to share kisses?”
“WE’RE NOT LOVERS!!”
Miyuki’s expression drops.
For just a second, something flashes behind her eyes—
Something dark.
Possessive.
Dangerous.
And yet, something so fragile.
Then, just as quickly, it vanishes.
And the sweet, wifely smile returns.
“…You’re so silly, Natsume~” She giggles again, standing up and stretching.
She doesn’t even argue.
Like she’s so confident in her own reality that my protests don’t even matter.
And that scares me the most.
Miyuki glances toward the door.
“Well! I’ll go make breakfast after a while. You must be hungry, right? I’ll make all your favorites~ You can sleep a little more.”
She turns to leave.
But not before casting one last glance over her shoulder.
And saying, in the softest, sweetest voice—
“I will unlock them today, as we both need to go to work. But, don’t even think about running away, okay?”
The door clicks shut.
I am left completely alone.
In a prison disguised as a home.
With a woman who is utterly, completely, dangerously in love with me.
“I wonder if everything will be normal after I wake up again.”
