 ”Letty!!!!”
 
 ”Letty! Are you alright?!”
 
 Nearby, I could hear Onii-sama and Otou-sama’s shouts.
 To both their scream-like voices, I somehow nodded.
 
 ”Papa, Onii-sama, it’s magic power intoxication…”
 
 At those words, my brother and father exchanged glances.
 
 Magic power intoxication is poor state of physical health, which occurs when magic power circulation is disrupted by a sudden change in the magic power within the body.
 Symptoms include: dizziness and nausea, vertigo, etc.
 
 ”…uuurgh”
 
 And the fact is, right now, I was being assailed by intense nausea and vertigo.
 
 ——— and after releasing that much magic power. I guess it’s got to be magic power intoxication.
 
 But fortunately, there is a cure for this magic power intoxication.
 
 My father and brother immediately took my hands, and each began feeding through magic power, little by little.
 While doing minute pressure and wavelength adjustments.
 
 This, is a treatment only possible because we’re Ainsworths.^[1]
 And so, the balance of magic power within me was fixed up.
 
 The result was immediate.
 
 ”… thank you. I’m fine now.”
 
 Having said this, at the edge of my vision I saw the shadow of the dragon^[2] circling around while using the [Fireworks] spell.
 
 
 
 ”…!”
 
 ”Ar-, are you alright? Letty.”
 
 I stood up, a little wobbly, and my father called out to me worriedly.
 
 ”——— yes, thank you. Thanks to Papa and Onii-sama, it’s somehow settled.”
 
 I put on a smile, and turned around to the two of them.
 
 ”Otou-sama, Onii-sama, I have a favour to ask.”
 
 ””What is it?””
 
 At the same time, my father and brother both answered back.
 
 ”There will be a reattack by the enemy’s main force soon. I’ll intercept them, so support me please.”^[3]
 
 ”A reattack, you say… how do you know?”^[4]
 
 To my brother’s question, I pointed at the Dragon Rider circling high in the sky.
 
 ”The observer set off fireworks. It was the same at the beginning. That seems to be the signal to [Continue the attack].”

 My father and brother opened their eyes wide.
 But they immediately turned serious.
 
 
 
 Otou-sama squinted his eyes.
 
 ”I see. So that was that kind of thing… However, even if you say you’ll intercept them, it doesn’t look like we have the means to do so. That rifle is powerful, but as expected, a single rifle lacks power.”
 
 To my father’s words, I shook my head.
 
 ”This rifle, it has another way to use it…..!?”
 
 At that moment, I could feel a sudden rise of magic power pressure, coming from those four fluttering in the north.
 
 It wasn’t just me.
 My father and brother also glared that way right away.
 
 ”We don’t have time. Onii-sama needs to keep the observer that’s high in the sky away from me please.”

 Graham-nii-sama nodded.
 
 Next, I called Mel to me, and handed her to Otou-sama.

 Saying so, I kissed the two on the cheek, and knocked the heels of my shoes together twice.
 
 With a humming sound, a magic circle floated in the vicinity of the shoes ——— and I gently soared up in the air.
 
 
 
 After reaching several tens of metres high above the training ground, I came to a stand-still.
 
 These flying shoes are designed such that, by changing the way which magic power flows through the soles of my feet, I can move freely through the air, ascending, descending, advancing, retreating, and moving left and right.
 
 It’s an extremely interesting magic tool, but since the magic power consumption is fairly large, its uptime using a magic stone is about 5 minutes.
 It’s not suited for commercialising, that’s the kind of invention it is.
 
 But, well, as a magic power monster, the uptime is irrelevant to me.
 
 ”——— now then”
 
 I looked at the [enemy].
 
 Four dragons could be sensed high in the sky via magic sensing, a couple kilometres to the north.
 
 Perhaps scheming to attack from diagonally above, they’d risen to an altitude higher far higher than what I had.
 
 It seems that the magic pressure we sensed earlier was emitted in order for the dragons to ascend.
 
 The four dragons stop, and split into two groups.
 
 From above and in front of me, 2 dragons.
 The remaining 2 tried moving to my right… to the east side.
 
 ”A time-delayed attack from two sides, huh.”
 
 The Absolute Defense I had demonstrated earlier, could only be deployed for a short time.
 Seeing through that, it seems they were trying to act accordingly.
 
 
 
 As for me, I glared at them.
 
 ”Who ever said that all I could do was [protect]?”
 
 My emotions unconsciously escaped my lips.
 
 And so, I held the magic rifle that everyone made with both hands, and looked down at the gun.
 
 From my magic sensing, I know that the enemy in the front has begun descending this way.
 
 I switched the rifle’s safety device’s selector from [0] to [1].
 
 And then, I went even further and put it at [2].
 
 I look up.
 
 
 ”This time, I’ll show you I’ll protect everyone! Absolutely!!”
 
 
 I set up the gun, and point the muzzle towards the [enemy].
