Lich reborn as a magic school student - 19: A special breakfast

I open my eyes. They’re heavy. Rising out of my bed, I turn off the alarm. 7:40 am. It seems I’m going to be late for class. Looking through my condition, it seems I used too much mana yesterday. I could’ve died if I wasn’t a partial demon lord.
When a human uses too much mana, their body will go into a dangerous state where it will, without reason, reject any incoming mana. I lived as a lich for so long, so I forgot to manage my mana usage, as a lich is a creature which dominates mana. This human weakness is very annoying. Should I turn myself into a lich?
No, until I am strong enough to become an archlich, it will be better to stay as a human. A lich is a skeletal creature which persists its soul within its bones through absolute dominance of mana. While an archlich is the ascended form of such an existence, a being that doesn’t require a body but is purely made of mana. A lich cannot live in human society, while an archlich can take human form.
Letting the demonic energy of my second heart fuel my steps, I walk towards the sink. Gazing downwards, the previous sight of a small grey ooze floating through the water is now replaced with the entire sink filled with the grey ooze.
“Food.” As I speak those words, the grey ooze coalesces, forming into a small pearl. I grab it, storing it within a small mana dimension. Then I let myself be dressed by the floating school uniform powered by my subconscious use of magic, and a last check in the mirror. I look fine, and then I cast a [Gate] to the school.
Beyond the gate is an alley which my mental map recognizes to be near the entrance of the school. While my body is not in a condition to run properly, this is not a problem that cannot be fixed with demonic energy and so I sprint towards the school gate, and through the schoolyard, and finally arriving in the classroom at 7:59 am. Just in time.
—————————————————[Reuben’s Pov]
What is Kashra? How did he create life? Why create sentient ‘Food’? These thoughts kept me awake the entire night. I feel like shit. 7:58 am. I look around the classroom and notice that Kashra hasn’t arrived. Is he late? Then suddenly John Knight shivers while looking in horror at the door. Oh, is Kashra running here? Can’t really imagine how terrifying that must be from his perspective.
Entering the classroom is the same long white hair which would’ve haunted me if I could even have nightmares. He wipes some sweat from his forehead, and then re-assuming his natural regalness and calm expression, he walks to Kaede, “Good morning.”
“Good morning.”
Then in his hand appears a small grey stick… Oh no. Kaede asks, “What is that?”
Please lie, Kashra. “Breakfast.” he says, not revealing that which I feared.
“It doesn’t look very appealing.” Kaede says. Oh Kaede, if you only knew how much worse that is compared to how bad it already looks.

“How is that food?” Kaede’s black-haired friend asks.
“It is edible and provides nutrients.”
While her face remains blank, I can feel a deep anger in her eyes. “That is not enough to be considered food.”
“Hey you, I’m curious. Why were you silent before, and why did you change?” Kaede’s friend with the brown hair floats towards me while asking. Her face is close to mine as she stares into my eyes. Does she have some magic to detect lies?
“Kaede helped me, so I should at least not ignore her.”
“Helped?”
Interjecting into the conversation, Kaede asks, “Hey Kashra, does that taste good?”
Conjuring another piece of Food into my hand, I present it to her. “Wanna try?”
She takes the gray stick and slowly puts it to her mouth. Closing her eyes, she takes a small bite. “Ew, how can you eat this. It tastes disgusting.”
“Didn’t you tell me to eat healthier? This is the healthiest Food. I have an abundance of it, and it’s quick to prepare.” Literally, with just thinking about it, the Food appears in my hands.
“Me too.” Kaede’s Black-Haired friend says.
“Didn’t you say it’s not enough to be considered food?” Kaede asks.
“Still, if it’s edible, I should try it.”
“Here.” Kaede hands the stick to her friend.
She takes a small bite of it as well, and says, “This is not food.”
“Hey you said this is the healthiest, right?” A big muscular guy asks from behind me.
“Yes.”
“Would this work for a pre workout meal?”
“It works for whatever you want it to work for.”
“What?”
“It’s magic.”
“Did you make it with magic?” The guy in the lab coat and gas mask asks while getting closer.
“Yes.”
“How?”
“Magic.”
“What kind?”
“All kinds.”
“Give examples.”
“Creation, Alchemy, Dimension, Time, Soul, Dragon, Divine and Unholy.”
“What?”
“I created the ingredients with Creation magic, and then used alchemy boosted by other magics to create Food.”
“You can do creation magic?”
“Yes.”
“But I haven’t taught it to anyone else?”
“You can do creation magic?”
“Yes.”
“What’s your name?”
“You… don’t know your classmates’ names?”
“No.”
“My name is One.”
Next in front of me appears with a pale face Reuben, and he asks, “Is that Food?”
“Yes.”
“The Food you made?”
“Yes.”
“Is it suffering?”
“It is Food.”
“Reuben, what are you asking? How could food suffer?” Kaede asks. He looks at Kaede with pitying eyes, and then walks back to his desk.
“Hey Kashra, could I have some? I wanna try using it for my pre workout meal.” The same buff guy asks.
“Sure.” I say while conjuring more pieces of Food.
“Oh, right, my name is Hænir Friðþórson.”
I look around and notice that the other students seem to have surrounded me. Hmm… I summon another 30 sticks and place them on the table next to me. I look around again and say, “Anyone who wants to try it can get it from there.” Then I walk towards my desk. Around half of my classmates give it a try, and there’s an overwhelmingly negative reaction.
A short girl with black hair says, “It tastes like sadness.” Reuben whispers to that, “It probably is.”
Then in front of the class Archibald appears, and he looks around a little confused seeing the students eating a weird grey Food. He steps towards the table where I placed the pieces of Food, and looks down with an inquisitive look. “What is this?”
“Food Kashra made.” Kaede answers the teacher.
“Kashra did?” He looks at me and asks, “What is this?”
“Food.”
“What is it made of?”
“I don’t know.”
“And you made your classmates eat it, not knowing what it is?”
“It’s the healthiest.”
“How do you know that?”
“I made it.”
“What did you make it with?”
“Magic.”
“What kind?”
“All kinds.”
“Elaborate.”
“I created the ingredients with Creation magic, and then used alchemy boosted by other magics to create Food.”
“What ingredients?”
“I don’t remember.”
“When did you make it?”
“Yesterday.”
“May I take a sample?”
“Go ahead.”
