Let me be a mob! - Chapter 94- Protagonist vs Mob?
“Have you lost it, Jin? She was barely breathing. Three of her ribs and eight bones were fractured. What were you even thinking?” It was early afternoon outside the infirmary where Aiden was asking some much-needed questions from Jin.
From what Aiden had heard from the other students who were around the gymnasium Jin was training all by himself and destroying a hefty amount of training dolls at a terrifying pace.
He seemed different than usual.
At that time his head seemed to be filled with nothing but violence… And at such time the only person from the first year who could have interrupted him for a friendly spar suddenly walked in.
It was Rena.
Jin accepted her request for a spar hesitantly which made it seem to others that he was not sure about the combat battle with Rena. However, what followed after that made everyone shocked and terrified.
Rena was the daughter of a renowned war veteran and someone who was supposed to be a prodigy, yet the fact that she was tossed and thrown around the arena by Jin made everyone assured about something.
Jin wasn’t only magically but physically strong as well.
He wasn’t showcasing his mastery of daggers but brute strength in the arena which resulted in the condition she was currently in.
“I know I should have gone easier on her…”
“Easier?! You nearly took her life and this is what you are saying as an excuse?” Aiden was evidently furious at the news after he saw Rena in that condition. A very dark feeling swirled in his consciousness when he gazed at the bloodied body of the girl.
Jin remained silent at that, his eyes turning from annoyance to solemn before he asked in a condensed tone, “What do you expect me to say? Wasn’t it Rena who approached me? Was I supposed to hold back and get my ass beaten by her? Face it Aiden, Rena is nothing but a weakling-”
Before Jin could finish his words, Aiden grabbed Jin by his collar his eyes turning red in fury.
“Take…that back…” If Rena hated something the most then it was to be called weak and even if she was not here, as her friend, Aiden was not going to tolerate it.
The hold on Jin’s collar was enough to slightly choke his neck but the latter seemed unfazed by it and remained silent. Jin seemed to have no intention of taking back what he regarded Rena as.
“I said take that back!” Aiden’s mana flared like a forest flame before he utilized his mana-clad body to push Jin to the nearby pillar creating a slight crack in the stone pillar.
“You do know the consequences of your action, right Aiden?” Jin’s expression didn’t shift slightest a bit by the impact. If something changed then it was his tone which grew even heavier than before as he asked—no, threatened Aiden.
“Our perceptions always have been different in almost every situation. And even right now I am doing what I deem to be right.”
With his left fist coated in white lightning and his eyes turned frost cold, Aiden replied with his judgment. The judgment which he was about to implement.
Aiden was not allowing anyone, not even Jin to insult someone close to Aiden, and to make Jin take back his words, Aiden was prepared to take forceful measures.

Lisa didn’t have a great start to the day since sorting out things with the administration regarding the matter of the Dungeon City and also the debriefing she had to go through in front of the council and the headmaster had already caused her a huge headache.
She returned to her office to have a good rest while enjoying the view of the outside scenery and taking slow sips of her favorite milk tea.
She was about to take the perfectly brewed caramel-scented tea and sigh in instant relief when suddenly a set of hard knocks resonated on her door.
Lisa frowned at that since she had hung the board of ‘Busy’ outside her door.
‘I hope it’s not some emergency…’ Putting the tea on the table, regretfully, she walked toward the door.
“Professor Lisa!” It was a familiar student of the first year whom she remembered to be in the second section.
“Ruby…what happened?” The redhead seemed restless about something which made Lisa frown as well.
And hearing Ruby’s following words, the frown only deepened.
“Jin and Aiden are killing each other!”

Back on the front ground of the campus, the two youths whom by now every student of the Excalius knows about, stood facing each other.
Jin was as stable and indifferent as ever with his palms clutching his twin daggers in a reverse grip.
On the other side, Aiden also looked unaffected by the first round of battle he had with Jin but the marks of cuts over his forearm and the left side of his face clearly stated the winner of the first round.
“Don’t hold back or you might really die this time…” Hearing Jin’s mocking tone only added fuel to the already burning rage before Aiden launched from his spot and just in a blink he disappeared.
“*Gasp*”
“His third attribute, teleportation…” Someone mumbled from the audience of students who were watching the brawl between the two.
The reason they said the third attribute stems from the fact that Aiden already has shown his talent in Immersion and Lightning attributes until now.
Jin remained frozen at his spot before raising his hand and blocking the kick Aiden was about to land on top of his skull. Aiden’s heel was being countered by Jin’s wrist. Even the slightest bit of delay or miscalculation would have been dangerous for both parties.
If Jin had failed to dodge he would have struck with the weight of eight five kilograms infused with mana. And if Jin had tilted his arm slightly and brought his dagger to dodge the attack, Aiden might have suffered heavy damage.
Aiden didn’t allow himself to halt so near to Jin, being aware of the latter’s battle instincts before the raven-haired youth disappeared from his spot and appeared behind Jin’s back with his fist reeled in a tight punch.
The duration between the two consecutive attacks was merely two seconds so one could imagine the seriousness of the spar Aiden was portraying from his side.
“Naive.” Just as Aiden’s fist was about to land on Jin’s back, Jin lifted off the ground in a flip, utilizing his athleticism and levitation.
Aiden was surprised by the sudden reaction before he felt something heavy on his shoulder.
Glancing upward Aiden realized that the place Jin landed his feet was his shoulders. But before Aiden could react or even let the sound of exclamation out his throat, an unnatural force began pouring down his whole frame.
At that time, Aiden understood the mechanism of reverse levitation.

A/N:- Next chapter will sort things out. Truth be told Aiden would have been clapped by the very next minute the battle would have started. But surely Jin’s motive never was to beat Aiden in the first place.
