Let me be a mob! - Chapter 87- Dad~4?
Under the moonlight, it was not much of a problem to identify the person who approached the father and daughter duo with an uncertain expression on her face.
Dia was only able to figure out some details of the person standing beside Jin but for some reason, her heart began to race the very moment she approached the two.
“We need to leave… ” Jin muttered under his breath since the thought of letting Dia know about the girl and that she’s their possible future daughter, seemed kind of messed up and the panic over the young girl’s face showed how she also didn’t want to face her supposedly mother as well.
Jin was planning to create a strong gust by utilizing the Wind Spirits and flee but suddenly…
“&$%&&%##$-#%%%#$$#” Jin’s eyes widened since he heard a familiar language yet the pace of her speech was so fluent and fast that he barely caught the meaning behind it.
His reaction was only a second later than the phenomenon changed the surroundings, thanks to the fact how flawlessly the young girl was able to wield spiritual magic.
“Now no need to run… ” Jin turned his head to notice that Dia has came to a pause and not just her movement but her whole being seemed to be halted from the passage of time.
He extended his senses and soon realized… “You have created a time-freezing domain around us? Insane… ”
Not only Time Spirits but to create a domain, one needs to be in contact with the Space Spirit as well since the domain in which Dia, Jin, and the girl were standing was currently disconnected from the original world. Even if people pass by them they wouldn’t notice any change.
In summary, at the moment, Jin was standing in a purely different dimension and had been separated from his reality.
It was not just a great feat to accomplish but rather a ridiculous reach of Spirituality.
“Hehe~” In response, the girl only giggled, seemingly happy to be praised by Jin. But in reality, Jin was in a slight frenzy.
‘How is this girl so good in something I know only basics of…? ‘
It seemed the girl sensed Jin’s unspoken query before she answered in an assuring tone, “Don’t worry father, you would soon become insanely strong as well. Just keep working hard as you made me do… ”
Jin didn’t know how he should feel about being coaxed by a younger girl, his daughter no less.
Getting over his dilemma, Jin asked with a sigh, “So…what advice do you want to give regarding the unneeded future?”
“Before that…c-can I hug Mom for o-once? Please father? ”
With her eyes roaming between Jin and Dia, the young girl asked while fidgeting at her place. The look of hope in her eyes felt like she was asking for a toy in fare.
For the first time, she was acting according to her age.
Jin could see how badly she wanted to be near Dia so he didn’t think much before nodding.
“Thank you. ” The girl turned her feet and rushed toward Dia like a gale before she nearly jumped over the Princess.
Dia’s body was still frozen and rigid at the spot even though the girl has practically thrown herself on her.
The girl wrapped her hands around her mother’s back and snuggled her head closely in Dia’s chest with streams of tears flowing down her cheek.
Jin was barely able to hear what she was saying but it was majorly about how badly she missed her mother and how happy she was to see Dia again.
Jin’s heart warmed up at the sight as a smile stretched the edges of his lips.
He didn’t know how he and Dia ended up being married but one thing was for sure.
They have raised a good child.
The girl remained embracing her mother for some minutes before she separated herself while rubbing off her tears when Jin offered his handkerchief.
“Thanks, Father. ”
There was something that bothered Jin about this whole situation as he finally asked in an uncertain tone, “You seemed so cozy and comfortable with your mother yet so formal with me…do I become that strict kind of father?”
“Ah, no-no! It’s not like that, rather you are so cool and kind that not only me but all my siblings want to stay with you all the time. But since Father has to look over various regions and handle so much work, you barely remain at home…so…That doesn’t mean we don’t love you rather our respect for you has reached such heights that we see you as our idol…someone like whom we want to become. ”
Jin knew that wasn’t the whole truth since he could hear the inconsistency in her tone but he didn’t point it out, leaving things for further to think about.
At least now he knows how he has built a wall between himself and his children so he wouldn’t repeat the mistake in the future.
“Anyway, father. Here’s the thing I wanted to give you. ”
She suddenly took out a small blue rune stone which was pulsating like a heart.
“I know you won’t use it until you don’t assess it completely so let me just tell you its usage… ”
She knows a little too deeply about me…Jin noted before the girl continued.
“You have to supply your Spirituality into it regularly so it would get absorbed inside of you and would become your second heart. Once it settles inside, you don’t need to do anything about it since your natural Spiritual energy would keep it alive. It won’t cause you any damage and would work as a backup battery…like when you would get too exhausted and on the verge of death it would discharge a town-shattering wave and create a protective shield around you.”
That situation certainly would be bad if any allies remain by his side when the rune stone would release such a devastating energy. Regardless, Jin nodded and allowed her to continue.
“Now about its main use…and the reason why your future self was developing such a thing in the first place. ”
Jin patiently heard her words as the girl breathed heavily and continued, “When you would attain divinity, there would come a phase when you would dispose of your human self and walk into your immortal body. At that time, the rune stone would shatter, and along with it… ”
As the girl reached the point there were already beads of sweat glimmering over her head before she finally concluded her words, “…your heart would collapse as well… ”
