Let me be a mob! - Chapter 85- Dad~2?
“What kind of joke is this?” Jin’s voice indicated nothing out of usual but inwardly, he was in a bit of panic.
Other than the fact that this girl looked familiar, Jin was feeling a bizarre connection with the girl, like he knew her yet not. From what he remembered, there was no one in the plot that appeared with such a description, and that made him wary of the girl.
A lot of things outside the premise have already occurred but this situation was different, Jin could tell. And her following words only brought certainty to his hunch.
“I know it would sound absurd but I am your daughter from the future who has gained the blessing of the Time spirits to return to the past and warn you about something.”
Now that’s what Jin calls extremely mind-wobbling.
“How can I believe you? And if you really are my daughter…then why do you resemble Dia?”
The girl in front of him had more or less the exact look as the princess except for her eyes which were more like Jin’s.
At first, Jin thought he was facing Dia but the aura this girl was trying to conceal was far more condensed and dangerous than the princess. Jin had a hunch that this girl who was calling herself Jin’s daughter, was stronger than him.
And about the past and future part then it was feasible that using the Time Spirits one could travel across time but considering how impossibly difficult it was to establish a proper connection with the Time and Space spirits…Jin barely found any credibility in her words.
“Well, about your trust then I can tell you the secret which my dear father has never considered telling anyone until a very later period in his life.”
With a grin, the girl again parted her lips and her following words made every strand of his skin stand erect.
“You are not from this world, right? I mean your soul…it belongs-”
The girl never got to finish her words as she flicked out her daggers and held them in front of her chest before a loud clanging voice reverberated across the street, alarming no one in the vicinity.
As Jin thought this girl was indeed strong as not only did she track his movements which were fast enough to fool Amanda but the way she held her weapon in a precise manner to block his attack, signified how well-trained the girl was even though she seemed to be in her early teenage years.
“Where did you hear it from?” Jin mildly wavered from his reasonable self as he asked the girl quietly yet the tone had the temperature below 0.
“Didn’t I make it clear already, Father? It was you who told your family about the fact that you had memories of your past life. And also, the reason that you already knew things about this world was no longer hidden. ”
Her words implied…that Jin’s future self has blurted every bit and piece of those secrets which current Jin had decided to take to his grave.
Not only did this girl, but who knows how many people knew about him being a transmigrator and also that this world was based on a novel Jin used to read.
‘Wait…she said to remember the past life… ‘ Jin frowned at that before he stood straight with his hands still holding his daggers.
‘This girl clearly said that I remember my past life…but didn’t say anything about the plot…’
To clear his doubts, he asked the girl with his brows knitted, “And what explanation did I present in support of my reasoning to know everything in advance, about this world? ”
“Oh that…of course since you read about this world in the form of a book, no?”
Jin smacked his face and cursed his possible future self to sell out every single secret of his like it was the cheapest meat on sale.
And it doesn’t end with just that…
“Well, about your second question then of course I would look like my beautiful mother. ”
“Wait…if you are mine and Dia’s daughter then what about Fiona?” A skull-freezing thought flashed across his mind but fortunately, in the future, Fiona seemed to be safe.
“Of course, she’s also a family member and your second wife…well, you have more than those two but I won’t spoil it for you and alter the timeline.”
Despite the girl speaking it so casually, Jin couldn’t help but feel amazed at himself. He always believed in monogamous relationships but here, this possibly future daughter of his announced how Jin was going to be a harem king in the future.
Throwing away self-doubtful thoughts for later, Jin asked the girl, “Why are you here?”
It was given that the girl must not have walked back in time to just say hello.
And as he thought, soon the girl frowned slightly as with a long sigh, she said, “Before I tell you anything please promise me that you won’t go out of your way to save others or anything by isolating yourself. It was the first thing, Aunt Fiona told me about your younger self, so please Father, before you take any decision after hearing me out, remember that the battle awaiting won’t be yours alone to face. You would need comrades and people whom you can trust. ”
Jin’s frown deepened at her words but he didn’t say anything and wordlessly urged the girl to continue.
There was a lot to contemplate about. Whether this girl was speaking the truth or not, was also something Jin decided to consider after hearing her reason of concern.
However, Jin could have never prepared himself for what the girl was about to say…
“In the future…your powers would become the reason for your wife’s and my mother’s demise…”
