Beneath the dark clouds without an essence of natural sunlight, could be seen a burning world which by the looks of it could make a normal person terrified.

Barren lands extended miles and miles away with numerous mines and caves built up near the terrestrial regions. On closer inspection what one could gaze upon were residents of this unknown place. However, unlike what people are usually familiar with, these civilians weren’t common to be seen at all.

Horns, tails, red murderous eyes, fangs, and much more dissimilarities are what makes these different from humans.

The adversary of every race. Demons.

Unaffected by the lack of natural vegetation they only survive through their prey and dark energy. Anything that possesses dark energy could survive on this side of the world. Naturally, a normal human can’t reside here but in the first place who would dare cross the borders to enter a literal hell?

Across the widespread black dry lands, one might see the huge fortress built near nothing in general. It just stood proud as a single entity with several small buildings situated nearby for the support and service of the noble that owns the fortress.

Building such a high and magnificent castle meant that this singularity was no regular demon since one’s wealth always meant superiority against others. But it doesn’t matter since the individual who owns this place has no obligation to be concerned about the implications.

After all, she’s one of the sovereigns of Demon lands.

“Message to the Supreme. Lord Pharoh has failed in his venture and has lost a significant fraction of his soul. Currently in preparation for hibernation.”

Hearing the words of her attendant, the lady on the throne remained unaffected but a complicated thought emerged within.

Her dark magic was vast enough that even a small ripple in her emotions was affecting all the soldiers and court members at a high scale rendering them breathless. However, no one dared raise their voice in fear of getting their life severed from existence.

Choking to death was an easier way of accepting their demise rather than being butchered mercilessly in the middle of the court.

“As I thought…my beloved would find a way to deal with that useless puppeteer… ”

Even though someone from the sovereigns has failed in the mission which the lady on the throne gave regarding none other than the members of Excalius Academy, there was a smile of glee on her face.

Her profound beauty was second to none in all the domains yet she always remained indifferent and never let any temptation allure her. Despite her position in the dark world many dared to confess their love only to be crushed by the lady. The talks of her charm have been reverberating for decades yet she hasn’t been swayed by a single man up to this date.

More like no one seemed worthy of her interest at all.

And if such a woman, whose cold and solemn facial expression has become her trademark, suddenly smiled…indeed today was the day where various would find it worthy, if their lives come to an end the very next moment.

No one knew what was going on with the Demon Succubi but something was evident by all the signs she has been giving for some time now.

There was a man in her life whose attention the Demon Queen is trying to attain.

Uncaring toward her surrounding the Demon Queen, Succubus Eisehth, smiled in glee as the image of a certain young man flashed across her eyes, making her feel more excited for the moment when they would finally meet.

‘Can’t wait to finally see you…darling~’

[Jin’s POV: ]

“What happened…?”

Fiona asked since my body suddenly shivered from crown to toe.

“Nothing…I felt someone…” I trailed off my words since I wasn’t sure what I felt just now. It was a weird feeling like someone is thinking about me strongly.

It took me some time but I was able to convince Fiona about the whole thing. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to leak the words about the demon as per what the Professors said, and I and Aiden would be called for further investigation related to the matter as well.

For now, I just told Fiona that a massive monster suddenly attacked and many students lost their life so I have to revert in time and this and that.

She didn’t believe my every word but fortunately, didn’t ask me any further questions as well.

“I am sorry that I wasn’t able to help.”

“Don’t make that face Fiona. You are strong enough that you would have handled the situation by yourself but I didn’t want to involve you in dangerous tasks that’s why I sought Aiden.”

That wasn’t a lie since I don’t want Fiona to get involved in something that could cost her life. I do want her to get stronger since her part in the plot is nearing but a domineering side of mine wants to nurture her in my shadow and keep her away from every danger.

A brief silence ensued between us as Fiona snuggled closer in my embrace. Her bed wasn’t that big yet we were sticking that close that there was still room for one more person.

Her warm and soft body was comfortable in my arms as I felt drowsiness making my lids heavy.

“Hey, Jin… ”

“Hmm… ” Drowsily I hummed.

However, her following words exhausted all my sleepiness in an instant.

“I-I want…to do it….with you…”
