Let me be a mob! - Chapter 76- As expected...
[Jin’s POV: ]
It took me a lot…a lot of effort to stop myself from falling unconscious just a few moments ago.
I have never felt my heart beating to that stage and my mind screaming in agony. Using Time Spirit was dangerous and that was something Silvie also warned me about but there was no other choice in this situation.
Unlike the elemental spirits Space and Time are two aspects that could instantly turn a mortal, into a god. No seriously, if I get free reign over reverting time or going forward in the future then would there be anything left to turn fatal for me?
And Space Magic would allow me to alter anything’s reality, teleport across nations and planets, and many more. It wasn’t like those spirits are egoistical, rather it was their tactical strategy to not provide strength more than what could shake up the balance.
“Let’s see… ” Supporting my body somehow on my shaky legs, I walked toward Aiden who was holding Phil on the ground. The eyes of the human who was now possessed by an evil soul, has turned entirely red with saliva dripping down the corner of his mouth.
Even though Pharoh was not here in person and had sent a mere fragment of his soul I could still feel the condensed Dark magic from him. In this state, if not for Aiden, then Pharoh might have slapped me to death.
It’s a blessing to have a protagonist as an ally.
“Let it be now, Aiden.” Aiden nodded and released his Holy Magic which was making the demon growl in frustration and pain.
Pharoh has to release his spell if he wants to disconnect from Phil and the Holy attribute of Aiden would only work as a slow poison which would provide steady but great misery yet wouldn’t kill the demon.
“So mister demon. I bet some fragments of your soul must already have deteriorated by now, right?”
I crouch down on my toes before asking the still-pinned-down demon possessing Phil. Holy magic must have already cost Pharoh more than he would have initially expected and from what I have observed, Aiden must have more than half of his mana, which surely would bestow hell on this demon.
And because he’s the second weakest monarch amongst the ranks it goes without saying that other rulers would strike him the very moment they find Pharoh in a weakened state.
There was no choice left for the Demon rather than to surrender…however, for some reason his previous agitated expression was replaced by a grin as he voiced out his thoughts in a hoarse voice, “As expected… ”
My gaze remained narrowed as I heard the demon continuing, “As expected…you are no ordinary human…not only do you have the blessing of a Great spirit but you also are aware of my spell, right?”
I stiffened slightly on that and already felt Aiden’s gaze directed at me. Shut up you bastard and release your spell already!
I wanted to scream but didn’t since it was pointless. However, hearing the demon’s following words rang several bells in my head of alert.
“As expected…from someone who has…gained ‘her’ attention… ”
My eyes went slightly wide but before I could have spoken any further, the vitality from the demon’s eyes disappeared and the demonic presence from the room vanished entirely.
I could already sense people around me who have began to move. I looked at Aiden and found he was also looking at me, still in suspicion.
Seriously, dude? What am I supposed to know about this when this bastard just used a freakin pronoun which displays that this person is female who is interested in me?
“Is he alive?” I asked Aiden before he moved his hand and checked Phil’s pulse only to shake his head in the end.
Considering the fact that this guy was forcibly used as a vessel of such a high-ranking demon would surely burn all his mana pores and suck out his life energy.
Oh lord, his father is gonna make a mess about this very badly.
I could already sense a massive headache approaching from a far…far distance.
But more than that, it’s time to settle things here.
“What’s happening? ”
“Where am I? ”
“Ah…Professor Lisa from this close…I can die peacefully now… ”
Alright, intrusive thoughts won for that guy and now he can only pray that this was all a dream.

[Fiona’s Pov: ]
‘It’s strange… ‘
It was already over midnight when I sat on my bed contemplating what happened just now.
I along with every student was on teacher’s block for some reason and the most shocking fact was that Jin and Aiden were covered in blood.
I was frustrated by the fact that Jin didn’t answer even a question of mine and just told me to go back. He and Aiden were still on the teacher’s block explaining things.
Why does he do this all the time? Am I that worthless that he cannot even tell a single thing to me? I know I am not strong as he or Aiden but he can at least rely on me at times or even share his problems. I might not be able to help but talking things out always makes someone feel lighter.
“Whatever…I will ignore him for this whole week…”
I plopped down on my bed with a pillow covering my face but soon realizes the difficulty of my commitment.
“A week would be a little…at least for tomorrow I won’t be talking to him… ”
I firmly made the decision and prepared to sleep when suddenly…
“Am I getting hated now?”
“Jin!” Do hell with the commitment. He’s in front of me and that’s what all it matters.
