Let me be a mob! - Chapter 57- Teach me?
“Calm your horses, will you? Any rash action would lead to the discovery of our union in an instant. Jin Carter is no longer just a nobody but an existence that is now surveillance by the headmaster himself.”
By the darkness in which the room was enshrouded, no distinct feature of the people gathered in the room could be differentiated. More so when every single one of them had their face covered behind their hood.
The atmosphere was gloomy and dark as usual in this hidden basement conference room where only selected individuals were allowed to participate. Considering the fact that this organization or what they consider themselves, was something kept in the dark by the authorities of the academy makes it rather problematic to call forth a meeting on general occasions.
The motto of this organization was Nobility Supremacy, that is, those of noble blood only have the right to rise in rankings and leave their impression on the world.
These are the people who considered those commoners or low-class nobles as impure bloodlines or just in simple words, a Residue. The highest tiers of blood supremacists in the academy are a part of this group.
Outwardly in front of the public, they don’t show any sign of what feelings they contain within but inside this room, the ugly sides of nobility spring out in clean display.
Naturally, such practices were something the Headmaster would never allow which leads to the need for utmost secrecy in this organization. If not for the emergency meeting which was called forth by one of the council members, then there were still some months for these people to gather and share their agenda and prepare for what was to come.
“I don’t fucking care whether he is famous now or the emperor himself. Once someone tries to get near my Amanda, I think nothing of them more than dead meat.”
Many winced at the abusive language, the person used, entirely unbecoming of a noble but considering his position in the organization, no one pointed it out.
The person who called for this meeting was the same one who was cursing Jin for wooing Amanda and requested an isolated session of one hour for the rest of the days of this month.
Naturally, this agitated man was one of the admirers of the student council president, but unlike others, this one was rather fanatically obsessed with her to the point of being willing to murder Jin Carter. Everyone in the room had already assumed this outcome in this room, deeming how this man has always taken each of his steps while taking Amanda into consideration.
The room fell into abysmal silence, no one daring to speak brashly now and getting targeted by the already seething man.
Amidst the unresponsive stillness, a hand made its way to the shoulder of the one who has brought everyone here, before the said person spoke in a suggestive tone.
“I understand your anger, Phil, but right now it’s not the time to attack Jin when those many gazes are directed at him.”
Hearing the man’s words Phil scowled slightly before scoffing in an annoyed tone.
“So are you suggesting I let them meet alone just like that while I stay put with my hands inside my pockets?”
“No, of course not. It’s just the time to destroy Jin Carter is not appropriate now, however, you know what’s going to happen in two days right?”
Hearing the word Phil’s eyes shined with realization before a grin stretched his thin lips, which without even seeing his face most of the others could feel.
Jin Carter not only was a target of the outside threat now but within the Academy, he has formed a whole organization against him.

[Jin’s POV:]
I was on cloud nine after discovering my newfound spiritual abilities yesterday. It was too good to be a true situation. Having a contract with the great spirit Undine was a dream of many including me since once I get in touch with any of the greater spirits, I unlock my limitless path of growth.
The supreme level of spiritual arts would now be within my reach where I could transform my whole body into an Elemental State. A shapeless structure where I could exist as long there is a single drop of water left on this planet. The same goes for other elements as well but contracting with another spirit supreme seemed nothing but an unimaginable possibility.
But that isn’t something I got myself concerned with since having Undine as a contracted partner even though she couldn’t summon her true strength considering my weak physicality, is enough for now.
There are stages, which I have to break through to draw more of my spiritual strength while maintaining a balance of both the energy residing inside of my body. Having a deity now as my contracted partner, I have already passed the fourth level. Now there were three more to go.
The next level would allow me entirely connect with Undine and remove the limiter which restricts constant uses of spirituality. Naturally, after the ritual I now can use my spiritual powers for a greater length and cast spells of a higher degree but it still tolls on my stamina.
For now, I just need to keep using my spiritual side and tap into the stage where I would be granted limitless reign over my powers.
“You finally arrived. I must say, as the student council president, you surely are not much of a punctual leader.”
I greeted Amanda who finally arrived at the same training ground I used to test my powers yesterday. The thing I need to learn from her couldn’t be exposed in public but to not get myself killed I need to be outdoors for the time being.
Amanda’s choice of clothes was not something I expected since considering her attitude I thought she still would be wearing her uniform. But a black skirt and white top were also refreshing in their own way.
“I…tell you…I am not alright…d-d-doing that here…”
I was sort of confused hearing those stuttering words which didn’t make sense but thankfully her mood was not that of annoyance which might help me get my request accepted.
“Now President, can I ask you to teach me something?”
Hearing my words Amanda blinked before tilting her head toward her left slightly. That gesture was cute but I didn’t sway since the word I was about to follow with, surely would heighten the tension in the air.
“Can you teach me your Shadow Walker Swort A-”
I raised my hand while my words instinctively got cut off by the sharpness I felt on my neck was everything I needed to determine how this conversation was about to go.
I might have beaten her before but when it comes to the sword, I was far away from this girl who currently had the tip of her astral sword pressed against my Adam’s apple.
“Before you die, tell me where you heard about that?”
