Let me be a mob! - Chapter 40- Warrant!
The infamous criminal organization which not only has terrorized the capital city of the nation but also has international authorities and reach to conduct their acts as well. No one knows when the organization came into play but it has been recorded that there have been seven successions of the head posts.
And the current ruler of the Mamba organization was rumored to be the strongest leader and the most twisted one as well, compared to her predecessors. She not only has surpassed the S-rank but also has made a major name in history by annihilating a whole army of demons all by herself, just because they dared to trespass in her region.
It was said that after that incident, the demonic ruler who intended to capture the East actually made a peace pact with the leader of the Mambas, and ever since the Mamba head got her title—The Crimson Demon of the East.
Cladded in a full-body skin-tight dress that clung to her petite yet tempting body, the armor seemed like it was made for the woman who seemed not more than in her mid-twenties from outer looks. Redder than the blood was the shade in which her hair was shaded in, as it fluttered freely in the air making her seem even more alluring yet dangerous at the same time.
Her long legs were the most notable part which might have made many men and even some women wish to get crushed since the lady was posing with a domineering charm.
Red ruby eyes glittered with the dangers of lives and the small tongue she was licking her lips seemed like a whip of death that might land upon the students who were gawking at the woman in fret and some even in excitement as well. Well, the excited ones were those kinds who would not regret dying if the source of their demise lies under one of their fetishes…
The first-year students who went for the trial also gasped at the scene where two catastrophic entities stood facing each other. Both the principal and the red-haired woman had the capability to crush everyone around them, except for some high-ranking professors like Sasha and Lisa. But the chances of students surviving were as good as zero. Even Jin was no better since even if he request spirits to coat him with their blessing and use all his potions in inventory, it would be nigh impossible to not perish from existence once these two monstrosities currently hovering mid-air, decides to engage in battle.
“Great, you brought them here as well~.”
The crimson-headed woman grinned as she looked at Lisa in glee before snapping her finger, much to the old man’s caution. But soon the principal settled back as he sensed what the crimson demon was trying to do.
“You put us in a barrier?”
“Yeah… I mean, I want everyone to hear what I am going to say, after all.”
The red-haired woman was not shouting but her crisp voice was reaching every single person inside the barrier she just has cast all around the academy which would prevent people to escape away using their teleportation. Lisa knew she would be able to breach the barrier if she wants to but the toll would be enough for her to transfer away but not anyone with her. She has used her energy a lot already and in absence of sunlight it gets even more tedious for her to move frequently.
Thus, the violet-haired professor didn’t even think of escape and just stood in front of her students in a protective stance.
There was already a sense of severe tension among the crowd of students as even the woman has yet to release her intent, her identity and her mere presence were making many of them pray to their god to survive this day. Everything about the crimson-haired woman shouted with grave danger.
The red-headed turned herself to the right, snatching her gaze away from the white-bearded old man. Commendable confidence there she had to look away from her only potential enemy here before her eyes looked toward the students who were crowding in either the yard or hiding in the corridors and classrooms.
Once again her voice reverberated as the woman announced the reason for her humble visit.
“One of my boys, The Faceless, got whacked a few months back and I know for a fact that one of you lil’ punks here did him in.”
Fiona stiffened at the statement as she monetarily turned her gaze toward Jin who was still expressionless as ever, looking at the woman with nothing but a solemn face. Dia was no better than Fiona but she didn’t react and kept her focus on the devil in the human skin.
About the others then the news of the infamous criminal Faceless was already rumored among the masses but when the Head of the Mamba was accepting it, then there was no room for doubt left. But the shocking element stems from the fact that no one but a student of the Excalius was able to pull off such a feat.
“Are you sure you are not mistaken, lady? May they be the hero candidate but taking away the life of such high ranking criminal…”
“Nah nah, ol’ man. I have traced that squirt all the way from Dukedom and have been on his tail until now. It would rather offer my own ass to get bitten if I tell you how I did it, so let’s just talk about business for now.”
The older man just narrowed his gaze at the woman who was taking the situation rather lightly even though she was in presence of one of the strongest being in existence. It was not that the Principal had his ego hurt, rather he was troubled to think what kind of strength the Mamba leader must have to carry such an attitude.
But more than that, what was needed to focus remained in the next words the lady would say. The white-bearded principal had no idea whether the Crimson Demon was right or not but if she is…it was rather an intriguing matter to enquire about.
The lady once again turned toward the crowd, inwardly grumbling for being distracted before she grinned while glancing at the students and made her voice echo throughout the place.
“You all have three months. In the meantime, find out who that bastard was who dared killed my precious servant. If you guys still won’t be able to dig out that squirt…”
Lisa along with all the other professors tensed with their hands falling on their weapons as they felt the slight killing intent releasing out from the red-haired woman. The principal also cast a spell and was ready to shoot it out if things proceeded from here.
But the lady paid no heed to any precautions and finished her sentence in a low feral growl.
“…then prepare yourself for a war.”

[Jin’s POV:]
‘3 months huh…. ‘
Walking back to my room after a very long day, I thought back on the warning, lady Bremella delivered before she disappeared from the academy, leaving many in a state of panic.
Very countable people know the name of the Mamba head and also her true power. But for someone who has read the fight between Aiden and the crimson beauty, I know what kind of calamity she is.
She was brought in as the mid-boss who becomes the point where the novel completes half of the phase. Aiden had a lot of troubles and had to fight with all his got using every attribute he possessed to fend off the threat. Unsurprisingly, in the end, as being the protagonist, he won.
It was now clear as day that she appeared prior to the plot in search of me. The primary turn of the event of the test was that a bastard professor(simp for Dia)would release a monster in the jungle and attack Aiden if the plan fails. But that pitiful professor was now lying dead and ready to get cemented with an honorary award for confronting the first wave of criminals.
Yeah…the plot is….
Well, I have no idea what would happen in three months but for me to train and get stronger so I could beat the crimson lady is like asking a newborn about the Big Bang theory. It was absurd to even think about reaching that height in such small time. Maybe two years from now and rigorous restless training might have proven something to be confident about. But three months…
I had two ways to deal with the situation. First I run away from the academy or second let them investigate and see how things unfold.
The first option is rather not something I prefer since here I had the protection of the principal and if I run away then the suspicion might lean on me, considering that people know that I am stronger for someone of my age. The second option is risky since maybe the principal might not support me and leave Jin Carter, the nobody to die like a dog.
‘Think Jin…th-‘
My train of thought came to an abrupt end as I sensed someone inside my room waiting for me. Since they were not moving, I could tell that someone came to meet me but arrived early. It was not tough to determine who this person was before a slow grumble left my throat.
Resigning to my fate, I pushed the door and walked to stand just in front of my couch where sat my guest.
“What is it that brought you here… Fiona?”
