Let me be a mob! - Chapter 128- The drama~1
The dining table was currently occupied mostly by humans and only one demon could be seen currently sitting at the head position.
The dinner was made in consideration of the guests’ taste. Mostly meat-based food since crops barely grow in this realm. In the name of vegetables, mostly carnivore crops are used as ingredients.
The atmosphere around the people was quite severe given their respective reasons. Mostly all of them were wary of Alzeith, because of her domineering presence and pristine beauty. However, only a single girl in the hall was passing glances at Alzeith for a different reason.
Fiona was both curious and anxious regarding this demon named Alzeith. Jin said he shares a past with her and because of that he cannot leave this realm.
Although Fiona accepts that in the realm of beauty, Alzeith probably stands at the peak, Jin isn’t the type of person who falls for someone based on their face value.
Then what is it?
“The food here is great. I never thought demons also eat cooked food.” Rena, as blunt as ever, stated in a casual tone while munching on the chewy meat of some animal.
“Alzeith browsed through hundreds of cooks to settle for the current one, who can cook decently. After all, most demons indeed don’t need to eat cooked food.” Jin responded in the same tone—feeling grateful that Rena broke this heavy atmosphere.
“It means she must be sure that you would get abducted. That’s why Your Majesty hired the cook?” With her left brown raised, Fiona passed the question, which seemed more like a comment.
Jin smiled wryly as he glanced at Alzeith.
In response to that, Alzeith answered indifferently, “Since the beginning, I knew Jin would return to me so why shouldn’t I have.”
*Crack*
The glass in Fiona’s hand began to crack from several spots—making Dia, who was beside her, flinch.
Jin gulped in apprehension. For some reason, the tension between them has suddenly elevated.
Jin glanced at Aiden, who seemed to have been enjoying this a lot.
Jin telepathically asked for Aiden’s help, only to find the latter shrugging in response.
Jin gritted his teeth and glared at the bastard who couldn’t even help this first time when Jin asked for his help.
Aiden sighed. No choice; it seems.
“How about we spar for a bit after dinner….it will help you prepare for the war?” Aiden said with his gaze directed towards Jin.
Aiden thought this much should be good for a distraction…but looking at Jin shaking head and widened eyes, Aiden realized that he fucked up.
“War?! What war?” Fiona flared up as she asked Jin with her tone raised.
“Haww~Jin, you didn’t tell her about it? Everyone else knows tho…” Rena said, which definitely added fuel to the already raging flames.
Jin glared at the short-haired vixen who was taking revenge on Jin for God knows why.
Heaving a sigh, he turned to look at Fiona and told her in a calm voice, “I was about to tell you but since your condition wasn’t good—”
“But why do you have to fight a war? Doesn’t she have a lot of troops?”
Jin heard something shifting from the background and undoubtedly it was the Prime Minister who was eavesdropping on them, must’nt have liked the way Fiona regarded Alzeith.
Jin glanced at Alzeith and found her indifferently eating dinner, without batting an eye to anyone else.
Heaving another deep sigh, he looked at Elena and asked, “Master…Professor, can I take leave for a few minutes? There is something urgent I need to discuss.”
Lisa didn’t even glance at Elena before giving her consent, “Yes, sure.”
Elena had a similar reaction, “Feel free.”
Both older ones knew that if things escalated from here then a battle would be inevitable. And considering how Jin seemed to have a favorable impression of the Succubus Queen, they wouldn’t be able to consider whom they might end up fighting.
Jin nodded before he got up and extended his left hand toward Alzeith.
Alzeith kept on ignoring him until Jin didn’t become a little forceful and held her wrist.
The other hand was already held by Fiona without him asking.
“Dia.” The blond princess was surprised that she was called out as well, but she didn’t make him wait for long and followed the three.
Soon the four disappeared somewhere and only the remaining five continued eating.
Rena nudged Aiden with her elbow and with a grin asked, “You deliberately mentioned the war right? Hoping to see some drama?”
Aiden rolled his eyes and shook his head, “Seriously, Rena? What do you take me for?”
Rena shrugged and that grin never left her face.

Jin led the three ladies to the room where he had been staying for the past two weeks.
He made Alzeith sit on the bed and the other two pulled chairs—clearly wary of the former.
Jin paced around the room with his hands on his waist and a deep frown creasing his brows.
He knew he had to talk about it but this was a little too sudden.
Regardless, Jin had no other option but to tell them about his reason to participate in the war.
“We have our memories from our past life.” Startling Jin, it was Alzieth who spoke up.
Fiona frowned and Dia covered her mouth in astonishment. (Dia reads a lot of fantasy novels).
“….what?”
“As she said, I and Alzeith know each other from our past lives. That’s why she kidnapped me and I never attempted to escape.” Jin confirmed.
“What are you saying….you and her….how is that….” Suddenly Fiona glared at Alzeith and threatened, “I swear to god if you are manipulating-”
“Use that tone with me again, and I will send you to your God.” Alzeith’s eyes were no longer indifferent. They looked threatening.
“You can’t harm her!” Dia stood up and shielded Fiona behind her, despite how pale she seemed, in front of a Monarch-ranked demon.
“Hoh~and you will stop me? With those shaky legs?” Alzeith smirked, and forced Dia to look at her own legs which indeed were trembling a little.
Fiona got up from her seat and spat in a poisonous tone, “I knew from the start that a Demon cannot be trusted.”
“Is that so, well…”
Jin stood at one side and witnessed the argument unfolding. He was aware that this would happen once his lovers meet each other…but he wasn’t prepared for this. Not at all.
‘…now, how am I going to settle this?’
