Let me be a mob! - Chapter 109- Prison?
“Jin, wait!”
“You don’t have to go with her!”
“We can fight them!”
The cries of the other students outside the dome could reach his senses but that didn’t make him stop in his route toward the lady.
The instructors inside the barrier have long lost their strength to fight back and Jin could not blame them for what was about to happen. After all, fighting a being who has surpassed the limitation of rankings was simply unthinkable.
If anything, Jin was surprised that they held against Madonna for this long.
“Jin…” Jin’s heart trembled as he heard the feeble voice of Fiona from behind. She has woken up it seems.
However, Jin soon steeled his heart and kept on moving forward. He knew he might end up rebelling against Madonna if he saw Fiona now, that’s why he decided otherwise.
“Jin….please…don’t…go…” Her voice was barely audible and it was shaking a lot, signifying how she was still not completely awake.
It pained his heart, but was there anything Jin could do?
Under everyone’s gaze, Jin covered the distance and stood near the redhead who was smiling at him (?) menacingly.
“Wise decision.” Madonna wrapped her fingers over Jin’s shoulder before she disappeared from the spot along with all the members of Mamba Organization; dead or alive.

[Jin’s POV:]
My vision was obstructed by a fabric as soon as the teleportation was finished.
As I thought, Madonna somehow can travel through the dimensional void to reach a place far away in a moment. Now whether this was a skill or an artifact was still unclear.
Why was I so calm? I have not a single idea.
I was currently being led into a strange place by a woman who held the capability to kill me any moment she desired. I have seen her strength so there was no point fueling my delusion that I could fight her.
“Can you not push me?” I grumbled as it seemed the woman was kind of in haste.
There were some wounds on my body that were restraining free mobility. Not to talk about this inhumane cold surrounding where she has brought me to.
“Shut your mouth or I will get rid of it.” I could sense the apprehension she held, blended with what seemed to be anticipation.
I couldn’t discern for whom this woman was working when she herself was so strong and held such high self-respect. For her to be working as a henchman…indeed suspicious.
Nevertheless, I remained silent after that and kept walking as she directed me.
At one point she pulled me and we halted,
“I am here to see the Sovereign.”
My ears perked as I heard Madonna speaking to someone.
‘Sovereign? As in demon generals?’ All the seven sovereigns were originally the Generals of the Demon King and after their liege was sealed, they regarded themselves as the ruler of a part of Demon lands.
…that means, I am currently on the other side of the veil.
‘Now it makes sense…’ To hire Madonna, nothing less than a Demon General was required. And maybe one of the top three strongest Sovereigns must be her patron as well?
*SCREECH*
Suddenly what seemed like a massive door parted before a domineering presence nearly made me suffocate. This sensation was somewhat similar to how it seemed to be around Madonna; however, this presence held a lot more animosity than any human could ever possess.
I thought that this person was the Sovereign, but,
“Empress is away at the moment because of some urgent work. How about we place the prisoner at a safe place until my lady returns?”
Alright, so two things were sorted by those words, this Demon just spoke.
First, this entity was either a maid or a direct servant of the Sovereign. And second,
‘I am in the palace of The Sovereign of Lust, Succubus Queen—Alzeith.

It has been more than an hour since Jin disappeared and the barrier disintegrated.
All the injured teachers, including the Headmaster, were taken to the infirmary along with Fiona and Rena. Fiona was resisting to go with them, but her head was severely injured which left the instructor with no option, but to inject a sedative and carry her away.
The school staff wanted to take Aiden, Silvie, and Dia as well, but they just shook their heads and refused to move from their spot. All three had their eyes affixed at the spot where Jin disappeared.
No words traveled between the three, but their mind was occupied by a single thought at the moment.
Their powerlessness has caused Jin to follow that woman, and possibly that could lead to his death as well. Every single person inside the barrier had the chance to fight, to change something…however, in the end, the Demon acquired what she desired.
“Damn it!” Clenching his fist in anger, Aiden couldn’t help cursing under his breath.
Silvie’s eyes were already swollen as fresh tears poured down her cheeks every second. She was the most ineffective one among them all, and it was proven once again, how little her life was worth of.
Dia…seemed to be the most calm one…or to say, she was just blankly staring at the ground without a hint of remorse or anger in her eyes. Her mind had completely detached from this reality as she felt nothing moving around her. Her eyes were open, yet she wasn’t able to see anything clearly. Her mouth was parted yet breathing seemed to be the most laborious task at the moment.
Without Jin…she seemed completely lost.

A/N:- The chapter was short, I know. It’s just, that I didn’t feel like adding another perspective and lessening the impact of Jin’s loss.
I hope you likes the chapter. Drop a comment.
