Let me be a mob! - Chapter 106- Mayhem?
[Lisa’s POV:]
It’s pretty messed up.
Just when I was thinking that we would get to see some good team spirit by one of the most brilliant groups of the academy, mayhem befell on us, out of nowhere. Chaos ensued and every hope of escaping brutal confrontation was discarded after the appearance of the Crimson Demon.
Why did she break her words and arrive earlier than the time she gave us, was uncertain but there was something for sure. And that was her infatuation with Jin.
Was Jin the one who killed the infamous criminal named Faceless back when he was kidnapping Fiona? It’s quite possible, considering how the girl immediately got swept by his charm after getting enrolled. And not to talk about that amongst the first-year students, only Jin held such a demeanor that killing someone didn’t seem much trouble to him.
In some way, he was a stark contrast to Aiden.
But well, at the moment it was more important to focus on protecting him since whatever the reason, Jin was my student whom I would protect until my last breath.
[Third Person POV:]
The scene of the open training ground could be defined as nothing but chaotic. By now the whole academy knows that something was wrong…however, nearing the battlefield was entirely impossible for them, given the barrier surrounding the unfolding incident.
All the administrators have sealed all the students inside the auditorium and stationed numerous guards to safeguard the place, in case some goons may have let loose. The student council members were actively involved in calming the disorder amongst the students while trying to keep their calm as well.
Despite being third years, they also become slightly uneasy when their eyes land on the brutality going inside that barrier. After all, two of the strongest beings were currently involved in combat.
Apart from everyone, standing at the top of the school building was a lone figure of a beautiful female student whose cold gaze assessed the whole scenario with keen observation.
Her beautiful eyes specifically remained vigilantly trained at a certain youth as some words escaped her lips,
“Don’t die out there…”

If there was something that bothered Aiden the most about this whole ordeal was the fact that the Headmaster wasn’t able to deal with Madona even if it had already been seven minutes since they engaged in battle.
His blade was slicing through every energy blast that tried targeting him or Silvie, who was standing with a frightened demeanor just behind him. Aiden couldn’t blame her for such a reaction since experiencing two mammoths fighting this close was a new experience for him as well.
*SHLLLLING*
“Eyes on me, pal!” Someone suddenly leaped and struck their blade against his Excalibur which made Aiden momentarily shocked but soon he refocused his gaze on his opponent and deduced that it was one of the goons who were giving disgusting looks to them before.
Aiden unleashed his aura, forcefully propelling the disheveled, blond-haired middle-aged man backward. Seizing the moment, the aspiring hero sprang to his feet, brandishing his blade aloft with the clear intent of slicing through the adversary.
However, as one could expect from someone who was working for Black Mamba, the goon didn’t wait to be decapitated by Aiden, and struck his daggers together, creating an ultrasonic sound, enough to make Aiden push back in mid-air.
The criminal didn’t wait for his opponent to stabilize himself before he threw his dagger right at the place where Aiden was about to land, resulting…
*SQUELCH*
“Khugh!” Aiden grunted in pain as he felt the blade piercing through his muscles and impaling the left side of his lower abdomen. The force behind the throw was enough to let the dagger completely plunge inside his body and only the handle was now visible for Aiden to clutch.
“NO, Aiden!” The hurried voice of Silvie made him stop before he realized why she stopped him. The blade was better left impaled or Aiden might die of blood loss.
“I will buff you, so please kill him!” Her shout surprised Aiden but feeling the warm sensation all over his body, he didn’t dilly-dally for long and readied himself to end this farce once and for all.
“Here I come.”

[Dia’s POV:]
When the battle ensued I was terrified. Not just because I had never seen such powerhouses fighting against each other before, but also, because my best friend was currently unconscious and completely unguarded. And the fact that she fainted while trying to save me from the flying debris that flew at me, made me even more guilty.
I swore in my heart that I would do everything in my power to keep my friend safe, not just because she was in this condition because of me, but also because I know that she would have also done the same if she had been in my place.
However, the person standing in front of us was negating any kind of threat that could have jeopardized our safety.
His form remained stable, void of any uneasiness as he handled every goon that came our way like it was a part of his training module.
Despite the fact that the Crimson Demon Madona was here to get him, Jin seemed completely unaffected and entirely composed. Like he was used to handling these kinds of situations.
He was like that strong pillar who could absorb every cruelty without breaking a sweat.
‘I hope…one day…I could become like you, Jin.’

[Jin’s POV:]
I am scared shitless.
Despite the fact that all the goons that were coming in our direction were pretty easy to handle given my newfound powers and the training I went through, kudos to my personal teacher, there was something pretty much bothering me since earlier.
The plot has yet again shifted and because of that, the old man headmaster had to face Madona all by himself.
I am pretty sure that everyone around me must be thinking that the old man would win against the Crimson Demon at the end of the day, given his experience and such. And under normal circumstances that would have been true.
However, there was a thing that only I and the Headmaster knew that could end this battle sooner than later. And that fact is…
The headmaster is slowly dying as he fights. And more importantly, from their earlier conversation, it seems that Madona knows about it as well!
‘This is surely going to turn ugly in no time…’ Now I can only hope that some deity befalls to help us overcome this situation or this academy will soon fall into ruins.
