Chapter 92: Eat Meat, Go to Another World! The Shadowy Maneuvers of the Liberation Army
Life in Japan’s been pretty satisfying, and before I knew it, three weeks had passed since returning from the other world. Damn, time flies…
On my days off, I’ve been hooking up with Kurumi-chan, and otherwise, I’ve been creampieing Minato’s womb. Of course, I’ve also been active as a Tényōshū member. Just yesterday, I had a heated battle with a Swallow Oni-class guy.
My magic stone stock’s down to one, so it’s about time to restock.
It’s been a while since I visited the other world. I’m itching to have some intense “communication” with Erinabel and Filmeria…!
“So, I’m heading out tomorrow to grab some stones.”
“I don’t quite follow what you mean by ‘so’…”
By the way, I haven’t used that Sensitivity Amplification ero-skill on Minato-ojousama since that day.
It burns through Hero Points like crazy, and she can barely talk when it’s active…! It’s not exactly the “intense communication” I’m aiming for.
But when I’ve got spare points, it’s definitely an ero-skill I want to use now and then. Man, that time Minato’s usual refined aura got completely shattered… it was so good…!
With that, I parted ways with Minato and headed home. On the way, I stopped by the supermarket and picked up some steak.
Not just any steak—wagyu steak…! I got enough for both me and Cui-san, of course. How can I afford this luxury, you ask?
“Payday…!”
That’s right. Today, my salary from Tényō Development hit my account…!
It’s not the full amount, though. I haven’t been employed a full month yet. The annual salary’s prorated for the first month, but it’s still way more than my last job.
Still, I’m hyped. Back home, I grabbed a frying pan and started cooking the steaks.
‘Oh… This smells even better than the last steak we had.’
“No kidding…! When’s the last time I had wagyu steak…!?”
I cooked them to a perfect rare, slicing Cui-san’s portion into bite-sized pieces. Plated it, sprinkled some salt and pepper.
“Here ya go.”
‘Let’s see…’
As Cui-san dug in, I cooked my second steak to a medium, plated it, and seasoned it. Popped some rice in the microwave and dug in.
“…! D-Delicious…! The meat’s so tender…!”
Savoring the rich flavor, I paired it with rice. What a… perfect match…!
‘Hmm…! Not bad at all…! I thought soft steak might as well be rotten, but this wagyu’s something else…!’
“C’mon, just say it’s delicious!”
Well, meat texture’s a matter of taste, I guess. But I want to give heartfelt thanks to everyone in the livestock industry and those cows.
Cui-san devoured the wagyu. It’s a familiar sight, but where the hell does all that meat go in her tiny body? It’s a mystery.
“Man, you really only eat meat, huh? You sure your health’s okay?”
‘Trying to measure me by human standards? Foolish.’
“Foolish, huh? First time anyone’s called me that.”
Heard it in games, sure, but in my corporate life, I’ve gotten plenty of similar jabs in different words!
“Anyway, tomorrow morning, I’m heading to the other world. I’ll bang Erinabel and the others, grab some stones, and come back.”
‘Right. The stones you couldn’t bring last time should still be in Erinabel’s room.’
Yeah, yeah. I got fifteen stones last time but could only bring three. Well, I’m Erinabel’s retainer over there. If I help out again, she’ll hook me up with more stones.
“It’s been a while since I went to the other world…! First time I’ve gone this long without a visit. I’m pumped!”
I sent Kurumi-chan a message saying I’d be out of touch for a few days. Alright… my first otherworld trip in a while. Can’t wait…!

Yugdovarn Kainzbern: The younger brother of the current emperor, Aranx, and a prince vying for the throne.
Unlike his brother, he had refined features and neatly styled, unblemished blonde hair, slicked back to accentuate his sharp, gallant face.
Right now, he was holding a meeting with the Liberation Army’s key members in a room of his mansion.
“You’ve worked hard staying undercover in the capital, Alkrom.”
“My apologies… I never expected Cerialis to show up…”
Alkrom furrowed his brow, but Yugdovarn shook his head slowly.
“You’re safe. That’s more than enough for me.”
“Your Highness…”
“Hahaha! Told ya, Chrom! His Highness ain’t the type to sweat the small stuff!”
A boisterous laugh came from a tall, rugged man with black hair and eyes. He slapped Alkrom’s back heartily.
“…Knock it off, Rybel.”
“What? I’m just as happy as His Highness that you’re okay!”
The man was Rybel Fortmack, known as the Beast Tamer Rybel. He’s the guy Touya was once mistaken for by Erinabel.
“And… didn’t you set something up with Amberta, the Eighth Seat of the Twelve Radiant Generals?”
“‘Set up’ isn’t quite right, but I managed to gather info on her patrol routes and assigned district.”
“Then we’ll leave the rest to… Hectain, right, Your Highness?”
Yugdovarn nodded with a gentle smile as Rybel turned to him.
“Exactly. I’ve assigned a few trusted retainers to him. He’ll handle it well. Meanwhile… we’ve got our own tasks to tackle.”
He turned to an older man seated at the back of the room, who nodded in return.
“Lufred’s agreed to sit down for negotiations.”
“…! No way…!”
The older man was Godwin Arvanleif, the Liberation Army’s de facto backer.
The Kainzbern Empire had several great lords, some descended from royalty of annexed nations, wielding vast lands, wealth, and military power.
Most great lords sided with Aranx, but Godwin was the sole noble backing Yugdovarn.
He was now negotiating with the Lufred family, another great lord, to join Yugdovarn’s side.
“They haven’t committed yet, but the date and place for talks are set—within Lufred’s territory.”
“I plan to attend the negotiations myself.”
“What…!?”
Yugdovarn intended to meet Lufred in person, a move Alkrom and the others couldn’t overlook due to the risks.
“That’s too dangerous, Your Highness…! If anything happens to you, what becomes of this nation…! The Lufreds chose Aranx first. They can’t be trusted…!”
“I agree with Chrom, Your Highness. Lufred’s son is one of the Twelve Radiant Generals. Please, don’t act recklessly.”
A commander heading into enemy territory was unthinkable. It could be a trap. But Yugdovarn’s smile faded, his eyes serious as he faced Alkrom and the others.
“These negotiations hold the future of the Liberation Army… and the empire itself. I want to speak directly to Lord Lufred about my vision for this empire, the future I see.”
Yugdovarn held a strong vision for the empire. Some might call it a pipe dream, and most would dismiss it without listening.
But his words carried passion, inspiring those who heard him. Alkrom and the others found hope in his vision.
“Besides… they’ve given us this chance to talk. It’d be rude not to show up in person, don’t you think?”
“Your Highness…! They should come to us! For you to go yourself…!”
Despite Alkrom’s protests, Yugdovarn stated firmly:
“I’m just a noble born into royalty by chance. And if we keep arguing about who’s above or below, we’ll never break free from the old empire. That said, I’m a cautious coward, so… Alkrom, I want you as my guard for the talks.”
“…! Your Highness…!”
Yugdovarn had recalled Alkrom from the capital for this purpose.
As a wielder of the Illustrious Imperial Artifacts, Alkrom was a vital asset to the Liberation Army. His shoulders trembled with joy at being relied upon.
Yugdovarn was deeply invested in these talks. If successful, two great lords would join them, sending ripples through the current political landscape.
(And… if I can’t convince Lufred, then he’s not someone we can walk with toward the empire’s future.)
For Yugdovarn, aligning ideals trumped material gains.
No matter how much wealth or resources were offered, he refused aid from those with conflicting visions. He’d fight only alongside those he personally approved.
That’s why he’d rejected all foreign aid offers so far.
Conversely, he welcomed anyone who shared his ideals, regardless of status or origin. With Lufred, Godwin securing the meeting already suggested a high chance of alignment.
(The Liberation Army has several concerns, one being how to neutralize or recruit Cerialis, the First Seat of the Twelve Radiant Generals. If that rumor’s true… we have some options.)
If Lufred flipped, many nobles close to them would likely follow, creating cracks in Aranx’s faction.
But even if the talks succeeded, relying on force was premature. One major reason was Cerialis’s presence in the capital.
The first wielder of the Holy Blade Elgram in a thousand years, her strength was undeniable. Some even whispered she was the prophesied hero.
Yugdovarn had his doubts about the prophecy, but his brother having a rumored hero on his side was far from ideal.
Defeating Cerialis was near impossible, but they needed to limit her movements. Then, a rumor reached them from pro-Liberation Army nobles in the capital.
(They say Cerialis is homosexual… and has feelings for my sister, Avies. It’s unconfirmed, but if true, we need to get Avies out of the capital.)
Ideally, they’d pull both Avies and Cerialis to their side. If not, holding Avies would keep Cerialis from acting rashly against the Liberation Army.
(Either way, we need more intel. For now, the focus is handling these negotiations…)
With that, Yugdovarn turned his gaze to tomorrow.
