Chapter 1: My new job is as an apartment complex manager
‘Haaahh, aahh! … C-Cumminng ♥ … Ah … Ah, haa, haa … C-Cumming! … Cumming! … Ahh, Manager-san! … Aa cumming!’
‘Haa, haa, m-me too… I’m about to also,,, Tanaka-san … Ah … Ah! … Ahh!’
I’m Konishi Shintaro (23), a virgin who can make even a crying child shut up! After graduating from high school, I went to university, but I ended up being more interested in learning about adult pastimes like mahjong and gambling than studying. I eventually failed to earn enough credits and, as I didn’t like the school anyway, I handed in my withdrawal form early in the new year without even consulting my parents.
After that, I continued my freeter lifestyle, but I couldn’t forget the pleasures of adult money-related pastimes. I spent all the money I earned from part-time jobs on those activities, and my parents finally had enough. They signed me up as the live-in manager of an apartment complex in a rural area without my consent and kicked me out!
“Ahh… Ahn… Let it out❤ Today is a safe day for me… That’s why… It’s okay to let it all out inside me! Haa… Wahh… Aahn… it feels so good~~!”
“Haa… Then… I’ll let it out now! Tanaka-san! A… Ah… It’s about to come out!”
“Aahn… Manager-san… Come~~~❤… Cumming! Cumminggg~~~!!”
I arrived at this unfamiliar place with just a trunk, and I was shocked by the sight before me!
Of course, the train I had just ridden was a single-carriage diesel multiple unit… the track was single-line, the station was unmanned, and there was a taxi standing alone at the bus rotary in front of the station, with the driver asleep, his face covered by a newspaper.
(What is with this place…?)
There was a traffic light installed at the rotary, but it was always flashing yellow, and there was no traffic even on the main street.
(That bastard dad of mine!!!)
In a somewhat densely populated city, the area in front of the station would be lined with restaurants, banks, and mobile phone shops, creating a vibrant atmosphere. But all I could see in front of me were shuttered shops, a dilapidated general store with a rusty Coca-Cola and insecticide sign attached to a charred board wall (from what era is this?), and a restaurant that definitely didn’t seem to be in business, despite having a sign that said ‘Meal’.
(Did they really want to get rid of me from the city that badly?!)
I felt very sad as I watched the neon lights, the cute fashion-clad girls, the stylish older women, the smell of grilled meat and chicken flowing through the sidewalk, the mahjong parlours, the pachinko halls, the movie theatres, and the stylish shot bars all disappear, as if they were waving goodbye to me.
(Do I really have to live in a place like this!? There are even at least entertainment options in prison!)
I had completely lost the will to live, and I was already thinking of ways to escape from this town, but I started walking towards my new home, the apartment complex, while looking at the map that the contractor had handed me.
(25 minutes’ walk from the station? That’s definitely a lie! It’s more than 3 kilometres away, just by looking at this map!)
I went straight through the flashing traffic light, and in just under 5 minutes, I was surrounded by fields, with a large river flowing in the distance – this was a peaceful countryside.
It might be a nice place to visit for a drive, but living here would be depressing.
(Do the people who live here have any fun? Waking up with the sunrise, going to bed with the sunset… their only entertainment is watching TV! I couldn’t live like that…)
Eventually, I crossed the river bridge and arrived in the residential area, or rather, the housing area, after about 40 minutes, taking in the nearby mountains and the countryside. Well, there were a few buildings and commercial facilities along the way, and it seemed there was a school at the foot of the mountain visible in the distance.
(There aren’t many cars, but the roads are properly paved, and I should be able to manage shopping with a bike… I can’t see any pachinko parlour signs, though… If there is one in this region, it’s probably a rip-off…)
I had arrived at the apartment complex where my second, unwanted life was about to begin. It was a four-storey building with a thin cream-coloured exterior, which didn’t require expensive elevator equipment… and my assigned building was Building 1.
(Where is it? Building 1… Oh, the building numbers are displayed prominently on the side…)
There seemed to be about six buildings in the apartment complex area, and as I checked their numbers, I found that my new castle was towering at the very back of the area.
(It’s not grand enough to be called a castle… It’s just a regular apartment building…)
Building 1 had three staircases on the left, middle, and right, and according to the contractor who employed me, there were a total of 24 rooms when you add up the left and right sides, but currently, only 16 households were living there.
(I hope there aren’t any troublesome residents…)
I decided to start by checking the area around the building I was going to manage.
(I’ll go around to the back of the building first…)
When I went around to the back, I found that there was a green iron fence right behind the building, and the river I had crossed the bridge over earlier was flowing beyond it.
(They’ve put up a fence to stop children from playing by the river… But in this season, with the river at the back, the rooms should be nice and cool with the windows open…)
I had originally intended to walk around the building counter-clockwise from the back, but since there was a fence, I started walking clockwise from the left side.
(Huh, there are a lot of trees planted on the left side… Wait, how do I get to the back of the building from here?)
I bent down and looked carefully through the gaps in the trees, and I discovered a small iron service door vaguely visible through the gaps.
(I see, so that’s how I can get to the back… Come to think of it, the contractor gave me a small key… That must be the key for that door…)
“Umm… excuse me, what are you doing there?”
A woman’s voice suddenly came from behind me, and I turned my body hastily in the direction of the voice, and there was a woman wearing a yellow hat, holding hands with a primary school-aged girl, staring at me!
“’Eh! … Ah! … So, um… me… no, I… I’m the new manager here, my name is [Konishi]…”
“Oh, I see… I’m sorry, I made an unusual misunderstanding…”
This woman was undoubtedly the girl’s mother, with slightly short black hair, an egg-shaped face, and large black-rimmed glasses, under which were noticeable double eyelids!… Even according to my own beauty meter, I thought she deserved a score of 75!
(I really want to look down and check out her style, but she’s definitely aware of my gaze… I’ll just keep my eyes on hers!)
“No… it’s my fault for doing something that would make me be mistaken for a suspicious person…”
“Not at all, nice to meet you, young manager-san♪… Oh, I’m Tanaka from room 421!… This is my daughter, Yuka♪”
“Uh, um… nice to meet you…”
At that time, I still didn’t know that the gender ratio in Building 1 was extremely skewed towards women!
I was unaware that there were eyes peeking at me from the stair landings and gaps in the curtains of the rooms, even as I arrived! Yes… I didn’t know that this place was a woman’s castle of lust…
