Thirsty ogling eyes of the nurses were all aimed at me. These gazes were a compliment that will fill my ego as a man. The flustered expressions and glances somewhat make me want to stay at this clinic of the academy. Who wouldn’t enjoy the gazes of these beautiful nurse elves around me? The bed sheet covered only my lower half, as I’m fully naked right now. It’s quite embarrassing, but I don’t mind it.

I was forcibly stripped out of my clothes once my feet took one step of this establishment. Quite ludicrous, but it happened. Probably, because my uniform is soaked with my own blood. However, checking my wounds did leave them in confusion.

“You’re quite enjoying this, aren’t you?” Stephanie next to me pinched my cheeks. “Are you an exhibitionist now? I will burn all your clothes then.”

“For your information, I still have this bed sheet to cover my precious gems. At least give me some proper applause, for not having an erection from watching these pretty ladies around me with their bewitching appearances. Look at how tight those clothes are, those poor massive jugs want to escape.”

“Why are they even wearing outfits like that?”

“The headmaster assigned those.” Professor Eukla said as she lay down on the next bed to mine. She had these bandages covering her eyes and some parts of her body. I only took notice of her deep wounds that’s hidden under her cloak when we got in here. It baffled me. Her wounds are more severe.

“Really? That’s a fellow man of culture. Now, I see why his wife wouldn’t hesitate on interrupting something important when her husband does these things. Headmaster’s wife has my sympathy.”

“She sure does… At least, the headmaster only has one woman in his life. Right?” Stephanie gave me the eyes.

“Seriously? Despite all of this? Wow.”

“Tsk, I hate when you act oblivious.”

I smiled wryly in response.

“Anyhow, how come I need to be naked? Yet, they gave Professor Eukla clothes?”

“I’m not sure either…” Stephanie held her chin, as she gazed with suspicion at the not-so-busy nurses around us. “… Did they even check your body?”

“Yeah… They sure did… Thoroughly… Quite professional.” 

‘Although not sure whether those unnecessary sensual touches and bumping of their b*****s were also part of it. Aren’t they supposed to be elves? Why are they acting like that? Despite seeing my close relationship with Stephanie, they didn’t give an ounce of care.’

Until now, I can’t move my body nor can I feel it. This would go for a few hours before I can move my neck again. Reminiscing about the fight earlier, I should’ve done it sooner… Yet, the hesitation on my end almost ended badly for both me and Professor Eukla. The speed and dexterity of the soul-eater made it tricky for me, yet I’m still on par in terms of speed. However, once Tsuki devoured a chunk of its soul, the noticeable slowness caught my eyes. Luckily enough, its aggressive behavior made everything easy for us.

“I can file a report, you know? Tell me.” All the nurses twitched upon hearing Stephanie’s intimidating voice.

“I’m fine. Geez, what a worrywart.” 

‘I did enjoy every single bit of their touch. And, I also heard them saying that I smell good.’

“Greetings, will you allow me to aid you?” One of the nurses with purple curly hair approached us.

“Aiding him for what?” Stephanie stepped in front of me with a frown. “You guys already checked him earlier and deemed he doesn’t have any injury, except for his fatigue.”

“His clothes, of course.”

“We’ve been here for half an hour and you’re only giving it to him now!?”

“Yes, we’re… Searching for clothes that would suit him.” She smiled at us gently.

Stephanie clicked her tongue in dismay. “Tch, then give it to me.” As her hands reach to the clothes that were on the nurse’s arms, the nurse pulled them back. “No can do. I shall personally do it. It’s my job.”

“No. It’s—”

Stephanie was about to voice out her refute, but another voice interrupted her. “What happened, Claude?!” From the other side of the door, a woman with golden hair emerged along with her panic-stricken face and sweats. When the nurses saw the woman on the door, they all kneeled down — even the nurse who approached us, leaving the clothes on my bed. They all said. “Her Royal Highness, we are pleased to meet the Princess of the Askar Kingdom.”

In worry, Lily ignored them and went straight to me, completely forgetting the etiquette. Adelle was also following her from behind. Both of them had their faces filled with distress. And then, behind them, there’s the headmaster and instructor Sienna following the two. Adelle and Lily check every inch of my body.

“First of all, why are you not wearing anything?” Adelle was the first one to point out.

“Wait, why are you…?” Lily said once she glanced her eyes below my waist and saw my lower half covered up by the bedsheets. Out of curiosity, she slowly lifted up the cloth and got rudely interrupted by Stephanie as she forced her hand down.

“It’s better to leave it like that.”

“O-Oh right.” Lily’s realization of her actions caused a blush on her face. She immediately lowered her head in embarrassment.

Adelle was looking at me tight-lipped with one side jerking up. “You can’t move, can’t you?”

“Yep.”

“I knew it. You overdid yourself again.”

“Hehehe… Anyway, won’t you do anything about those poor nurses, Lily?”

“Eh? Ah… Ehem—Lift your heads. Greetings, fellow elves of our glorious Askar Kingdom. I’m also pleased to meet you all.” Lily smiled at them. At first, I thought they would show some disdain toward Lily. Yet, they were overjoyed. They performed a curtsy and all lined up on the side of the room, keeping their head cast down.

“Sup’, how are you kiddo?” Headmaster Winster greeted me.

“In a terrible state.”

“I like your honesty!”

“You asked and I answered…”

“E—” Instructor Sienna shoved the face of the headmaster out of the way.

“Forgive him. We’re here to apologize for our late arrival. We should’ve taken action when we sensed an abnormal mana activity, but we didn’t… able to locate it properly… As your educator and guardian, I apologize.” Instructor Sienna bows her entire upper body to me.

I was taken back, but I gazed at them without opening my mouth.

“And also, Professor Eukla, I apologize and appreciate the effort of saving the lives of our dear students.”

“It’s my duty as an educator. I don’t need your pity apology like always, ‘Sienna’. What’s done has been done. If you ‘two’ really regret it then show your remorse by rewarding the young man who fought alongside me. Don’t bother giving me one.”

“What about the three students?” Headmaster Winster came back up and spoke something that made sense for once.

“Do they deserve it? No. It only caused more trouble. They’re filled with egos because of their sense of superiority above everyone else, especially Shin Morino. You’re also included on that, Student Claude.”

“Isn’t that too harsh, Euk— Professor Eukla?”

“I’m just saying according to my own judgment. Rewarding them for their mistakes cannot be tolerated here.”

“Haa… Yeah-yeah, I understand.” Headmaster Winster scratched his cheeks before shifting his gaze on me. “How about a thousand points and a free week from classes, so you can recover? How does that sound?”

“Thousand?! That’s worth like… Ten dungeons of work at least…” Stephanie was the first one to react.

When my ears pick the words of Headmaster Winster, my eyes glisten in gold. “Seriously? Uh…”

“Still not enough, give him more.” Professor Eukla added.

“Sure. I’ll give you additional 200 points.”

“Not enough.”

“Eh? Wait? Damn it… What about… Free lunch? Wait a minute, this is too much. I can’t give any more than this.”

“Really? The creature we fought can annihilate everything in here and you guys were barely able to scratch it, yet he managed to kill it. Don’t you think it’s unfair for him? Give him some proper recognition for his bravery and help.”

“That makes sense… We couldn’t attack because of its immunity, and you’re the only one who managed to constraint it… Otherwise, I wouldn’t have given it to you…” Headmaster Winster muttered to himself while also nodding to each word he said. We all clearly heard it. “Okay. I’ll introduce you to my favorite brothel that I haven’t used ever since I got married! I’m a regular. And! I’ll pay exclusively for you until I’m dead.”

“Yeah, sorry. I’m not interested. I’d rather have some sort of benefits and rewards.” I said outright.

“Seriously?!”

Headmaster Winster was dumbfounded by my outright rejection of his offer. All my girls looked at the principal with contempt and hostility. Instructor Sienna couldn’t help herself but shut his mouth with force. “From the look of things, we will have a long talk regarding this matter. We will talk about this once again after your recovery. But until then, take your time on getting some proper rest and care for your body.”

“I kind of agree…”

Before Instructor Sienna drags Headmaster Winster out, Instructor Sienna left some words for us. “About the incident, we respectfully trust all of you to keep this incident a secret and not a single word will come out to the public. Are we in agreement?” She said in a commanding tone.

“Yes.”

“I appreciate it. Thank you.”

As soon as she left, I cast my attention on Adelle and Lily. “How did you two find out?”

“Stephanie sent Rinna a message to us.”

“Oh yeah, how come you’re all using the bunny as a messenger?”

“She wanted to… I’m not sure either. She approached us on the way yesterday morning. Then she suggested it, so for our own convenience, we gladly accepted her offer.”

“Huuuh?” 

‘Isn’t she a self-proclaimed detective?! Why did she transition into a messenger?! Oh, poor bunny!’
