Chapter 26 – [Yamaguchi Yuuka] Revenge
Koichi got completely drunk after just a few sips of beer.
I shook his shoulders as he lay on the table.
“Hmm… Aoi-chan…”
What is he saying?
He had such a carefree sleeping face.
Not only was I angry with Aoi, but now I was also getting annoyed with Koichi.
Koichi had confessed his feelings to me.
And yet,
“That was a mistake.”
Was what he said.
How can a confession be a mistake?
No, it can’t be a mistake.
He must have made a bet with his friends.
If he confessed to me, would my answer be OK or would I reject him?
They were probably playing that kind of game.
He confessed to me with a casual mindset.
After that, he forgot all about it.
It’s too cruel.
He doesn’t know how happy I was.
Toying with my feelings like this is just mean.
I wanted to get back at Koichi.
And I can’t stand the thought of him liking Aoi.
After messing with my feelings, he can’t just decide to be happy with Aoi.
I absolutely won’t let him have Aoi.
My head was filled with these thoughts.
—————-
I knew the address of the “gym” where Koichi lived.
I had taken photos of Matsui-san’s investigation materials with my phone.
His address, social connections, and place of origin.
I wanted to know everything about the person I liked and was interested in.
“Koichi, wake up! Let’s take a taxi home.”
I shook his shoulders vigorously, and Koichi looked at me with dazed eyes.
I somehow managed to get him to walk, and we left the restaurant.
We hailed a passing taxi and got in.
Koichi kept humming a strange tune.
———————-
“This is my room~”
Hikaru and I entered a small room inside the gym.
It was a narrow room.
“Ah~ Ahaha. Ah~”
Koichi was muttering incoherently.
He’s incredibly weak to alcohol; it’s almost surprising.
“Thank you.”
Koichi suddenly put on a serious expression and thanked me.
“Eh…?”
And then he flopped onto the bed.
His eyes were closed.
He must have fallen asleep.
Koichi’s sleeping face looked like that of a child, and it was cute.
Suddenly, Koichi, who was lying on the bed, pulled my hand forcefully.
“What?”
“Come here… please. I’m lonely by myself.”
Koichi said, pulling my hand even harder.
“Kya!”
I was pulled and almost fell onto the bed.
“So soft…”
Koichi said as he touched my cheek.
His eyes were moist and hazy, his cheeks flushed red.
He looked like he was burning with fever.
The next moment, Koichi hugged me tightly.
“Koichi! You’re drunk!”
I struggled to break free from his embrace, but he was surprisingly strong.
“Cute…”
He started kissing my cheeks and eyelids as he said this.
“Hey!… Ah… stop…”
Kouichi kissed my neck, shoulders, and wrists passionately.
And then, he whispered in my ear,
“I love you…”
“Koichi…”
I was dazed and stared back at him.
“I love you… Aoi-chan…”
“Eh?”
I was shocked again.
It’s frustrating.
He’s drunk and mistaking me for Aoi…
“Aoi-chan… Aoi…”
After hugging me tightly, he brought his lips closer to mine.
(He’s going to kiss me!)
Just as I thought that…
“Soo… Soo…”
I heard the sound of his sleeping breath.
Koichi had fallen asleep, hugging me like a hugging pillow.
