Vol 1 Chapter 30: Boxing Club Members’ Introductions… Eh? Am I Forced to Join Too? (Vol 1: The Delinquent High School Girl’s Servant Survived and Advanced to the Second Year)
“For now, I’d like to get to know each of you—so could you each introduce yourselves?”
“I mean, if we’re doing introductions, it’s only proper for the seniors to go first, right?”
It seems this kid doesn’t really see seniors as, well, seniors.
Even now, with Katsuko nestled in her cleavage while patting her head, Rurei was being downright rude.
“Hey! Don’t you talk to your senior like that!”
I couldn’t help but step in to admonish him, but the senior didn’t get mad—instead, she agreed with Rurei.
“No, Galuko-san is absolutely right! I’m in the boxing club. I’m Inami Onmu from Class D, Third Year. I’ve already told Take‑kun and the others, so please call me Onmu‑senpai! I’m in the Lightweight division (57–60 kg). And I’ve even competed in the Inter‑High!”
I had thought she was built big, but I never imagined she’d be in the Lightweight division.
This means I might even be able to spar with the boys.
“Um, well—I’m not Galuko; I’m Rurei. I’m probably in the Light Flyweight division (women’s 46–48 kg) or Flyweight (women’s 48–51 kg), I guess? I’ve never actually fought in a match, but at the gym I always beat the boys. So, seniors, please look after me♪”
It was surprising that someone that strong had never actually competed.
If her weight class is Light Flyweight or Flyweight, that means she’s roughly around the same weight as Miyayuri.
But then again, the dynamite boobs—which you could imagine being used as a clinching technique by pinching an opponent’s face—are in the Heavyweight division.
“I’m Azuma Kazuki. I’m probably in the Light Flyweight division (for girls under 49 kg) and I have boxing experience. I’ll do my best so I can keep up with Take‑senpai!”
When Azuma bowed politely, applause broke out.
“Good job! I’m cheering for you!” “I mean, is it trending now that girls love girls and otokonoko love boys?”
“So lately, since you weren’t getting stepped on by Miyayuri‑chan as a substitute for Aotake, you’ve finally turned to guys… That’s fine by me. If it’s you all, you’re welcome.”
My head started hurting.
I mean, why am I even in this group when I haven’t even put my name on the club registration yet?
“Next up, it’s Take’s turn.”
“No… I haven’t even joined yet…”
paki-poki
“Oh… I’m Kosutake. I’m from Class A, Second Year! I’ve been training in martial arts for six months! I may be in C class, but I’ve won an amateur kickboxing tournament. My weight class is Bantamweight (51–54 kg*), though if I fight next time, I plan to drop to Flyweight (under 51 kg*).”
I naturally stood up straight and delivered my introduction at a fast pace.
The mere snap of Katsuko’s fingers made everyone recoil—a testament to her strict “training.”
“Pupupu… So you’re the one who sent Tsutsumi‑senpai to the hospital?”
Onmu‑senpai asked me, her shoulders trembling.
“No, I didn’t actually send him to the hospital, though…”
“Well now, to be taken down by someone with only six months’ experience—Tsutsumi‑senpai… even Shuuji isn’t all that great, huh? Shuuji~ shuuji~ shuuji~—serves you right! Hey, hey, what does it feel like to lose?!”
It was as if Tsutsumi‑senpai were right there, and someone was reveling in his defeat before our eyes—we were all taken aback.
“Um… I’m Shuso Katsuko from 2‑A. I won the All‑Japan Under‑Junior 45 kg division back in my first year of middle school. I’ve had a break since then, but I look forward to working with you.”
With Katsuko’s introduction, Onmu‑senpai abruptly halted her eerie muttering.
“Huh? You’re the Shuso Katsuko who was once called a genius, aren’t you?”
“Er, genius or not, I’m still Shuso Katsuko.”
“No way! I never expected you’d come to Rikkokugawa High! Why didn’t you join the club last year?”
Onmu‑senpai grabbed Katsuko’s hands and waved them around energetically.
“That face! I remember now! I once saw your match on TV—your overhand right had demonic power! I thought your opponent was going to get killed!”
“R–really… is that so?”
Katsuko wore a strained smile.
I could only imagine that even if it were meant as a compliment, it wasn’t exactly flattering. She probably meant no harm, but she might just be an insensitive senpai.
“Alright then, once we’re warmed up, shall we start sparring? Everyone’s got some experience, right?”
I mean, I haven’t even said that I’m joining yet…
It was too late to bring that up now.
