Upon hearing my response, Gaius-sama burst into laughter with a mischievous smile. 

While it is true that nobles are known to have diverse tastes, including preferences for same-sex relationships, I couldn’t help but cringe at the thought of Gaius-sama finding Prevost attractive in that way. 

Prevost, after all, is quite an eccentric character; I can’t imagine anyone being interested in him romantically. But then again, I realized there might be someone with such peculiar taste in the world, and apparently, that someone is Gaius-sama.

And I understood. Gaius-sama must have come all the way to the Holy Kingdom in search of an outlet for his unconventional preferences to avoid rumours circulating within the Empire.
