Chapter 23: Character Introduction

He wasn’t quite a beautiful boy, but his features were well-balanced, and had he not been afflicted with illness, he might have enjoyed his life full of happiness as an ordinary boy. His height was 151 cm, and he often dangled his legs as everyone carried him around.

He still didn’t know about the gender ratio of this world.  

【Beastkin Race, Wolf Type – Luna】

With black hair, black ears, and a black tail, her current form had a relatively low “beastliness.” To begin with, beastkin varied greatly as individuals—some were covered entirely in fur, while others had prominent muzzles (a dog-like feature where the mouth jutted out).

Her height was 218 cm, taller than Ken-chan, but among beastfolk, she fell into the smaller category. Beastkin mating was a one-sided affair that left the male in tatters, but having read pure-love, affectionate mating stories with her parents long ago, she yearned for sweet, loving mating with a human male.  

【Snakefolk Race, White Snake Type – Lammy】

A woman with neatly tied-back white hair and a sharp gaze peeking through her glasses. Her thick lower body, resembling a giant snake, was covered in smooth white scales. Since being taken in by Luna’s parents as a child, she was raised like a sister to Luna and now served as Luna’s secretary as a way to repay that kindness.

Her height was 442 cm (This was the length from head to tail tip; when moving, she was about 2.6 meters tall). In snakefolk mating, they wrapped around the male’s entire body, breaking some of his bones to prevent escape, and engaged in 24-hour-long mating. After it ended, they healed the broken bones with recovery magic, then gently enveloped and embraced the male with all of their body.

Through this sequence of actions, the male experienced both the terror of being ravaged and the kindness of being cared for, conditioning him to never rebel for life. In short, she was like a DV (domestic violence) girlfriend, but they acted on instinct with no malice whatsoever.  

【Elf Race, Dark Elf Type – Dalis】

A woman with gray hair and dark skin, always wearing her hood pulled low. She held the position of an executive in the Demon Lord’s army, but since it was forced upon her by her village, she had little motivation in her occupation. Even so, whenever humans were involved, a switch flipped, and she became very talkative.

Her height was 162 cm, average among elves. It was natural for elves to mate outside, where the magic power was abundant, so other races started calling them perverts who loved exhibitionist play. However, unable to deny this fact, they instead turned into a group that preached the joys of outdoor play.

【Dragon Race, Dragonewt Type – Draco】

She had short, distinctive red hair, rugged horns, a thick tail reminiscent of a reptile, and vibrant red wings. Her height was 258 cm, making her relatively tall among her race.

For dragonfolk, mating followed the equation <feeling heat = love>. As a result, their mating manuals often depicted scenes of mating in harsh environments unbearable for humans—like magma, fire, or constantly boiling water. Unfortunately, since not a single dragonfolk objected to this culture, if Ken-chan were ever taken by them, he’d simply burn to death.  

【Bovine Race, Minotaur Type – Latte】

She possessed the overwhelming heft characteristic of bovine folk in her chest, its size rivaling Ken-chan’s head. As the longest-serving executive of the Demon Lord’s army, she exuded a laid-back air. Her height was 232 cm, and she later discovered—much to her private excitement—that her chest aligned perfectly with Ken-chan’s face height. Bovine folk mating involved deriving pleasure from feeding their mates their milk, which flowed even before pregnancy. Thus, in bovine mating manuals, the two dominant trends were milk-spraying play and milk-submersion play, steadily gaining popularity.  

【Spider Race, Jorougumo Type – Aura】

A woman with short, light purple hair and beautiful, fiery red eyes, she held the dual roles of a human male researcher and doctor. She once discarded her womanhood due to trauma involving males, even cutting off her long hair in the process, but Ken-chan’s kindness reawakened her womanly heart.

Standing at 318 cm, combined with the spider-specific swollen abdomen and long, slender legs, her presence in person carried an extraordinary intimidation factor. Spiderfolk mating involved restraining the male in their web until he couldn’t move, then injecting a highly addictive pleasure substance into his body. Once a male experienced this pleasure, he became their prey, unable to leave the spiderfolk even after being freed from the web. Incidentally, if Draco hadn’t come to help, Ken-chan would have been suspended in midair for a week, mating daily without fail, eventually becoming a harmonious? husband and wife pair with Aura.  

【Chimera Race, ??? Type –  Demon Lord】

Born destined to become the Demon Lord from the moment of her existence, she was a natural-born Demon Lord. Her height was 302 cm, placing her among the taller ones since the average height of demi-humans in the demon realm was around 250 cm. Among demi-humans, who typically could only reproduce within their own kind, she was a chimera—a rare being in history born from the union of two or more different races.

She possessed a formidable physique, boundless magical power, and a lifespan measured in millennia, but as a trade-off, she could only bear children with humans. Thus, in the current demon realm, mating with Ken-chan was her only means of reproduction, putting her in a rather desperate situation. By the way, the title of Demon Lord was hereditary.

【Mr. And Mrs. Aizawa】

A grieving husband and wife who tragically lost their young son to a mysterious illness. Though they have yet to fully come to terms with life without him, they are determined to move forward, however slowly, while carrying the memory of their son, who fought bravely against his illness for so long. Their resilience in the face of adversity had been deeply inherited by the protagonist.

【A Bit of Background Lore】

Q: Why does the protagonist constantly end up in pitiful situations?

A: The inhabitants of the Demon Realm greatly underestimate just how fragile human males are compared to themselves. Additionally, due to the highly advanced state of healing magic, there is almost no concept of preventing injuries beforehand. Instead, injuries are simply treated after they happen, which has become the norm in the demon realm.

As a result, the general mindset of this world is “Let’s just try it and see what happens!” Regardless of how dangerous a situation may be, the common belief is “It’s fine! If worse comes to worst, we have healing magic!” This overly optimistic attitude leads to the protagonist being treated rather carelessly. The worst part? There’s no malice behind it, which makes it even more frustrating.
