After Ken-chan whispered words of love to me, I suddenly found myself wrapping both arms tightly around him and extended my threads toward the ceiling. 

“I think we’re about five meters from the ground. I had the ceiling raised to store a lot of research materials, but I never dreamed it’d come in handy like this.”

Oh… Even now, his words of affection kept swirling around in my head, and a heat surged up from deep within me that I couldn’t suppress.

I spat out sticky threads, binding his hands and feet firmly while securing him spread-eagled. But that alone didn’t feel secure enough. Next, I strung threads diagonally in multiple directions, wrapping them around the others, and wound them around his body ten times in tight circles. Alright, unless something extraordinary happened, he wouldn’t fall now.

“Still, preparing for mating was a first for me, but it went surprisingly smoothly.”

Even though no one taught me how, I couldn’t hide my own amazement at how quickly I crafted a mating restraint.

“Hmm… Is the proper way to reproduce etched into our genes, perhaps? How fascinating. Maybe I should write a research paper on gene-based reproduction next. Explaining it while mating with Ken-chan at the presentation could be fun too.”

As I mulled over my next research topic, I heard Dalis-kun’s shout from below—she’d shrunk to the size of a thumb from where I was clinging to the ceiling.

Honestly, I could just ignore Dalis-kun. At this distance, she wouldn’t be able to interfere, but it’d be troublesome if she called for the Demon Lord’s help.

With a light kiss on Ken-chan’s forehead to signal a pause, I immediately dove toward Dalis-kun.

The impact of my fall cracked the ground, and the whole room shook violently. I used to hate this huge body, but if landing in front of someone could intimidate them, maybe it wasn’t so bad after all. Honestly, agonizing over something so trivial for over ten years—I felt like an idiot.

I threw an intruder-repellent smoke bomb I kept in my pocket right at her face, instantly robbing her of her sight.

I emphasized my point by hugging Ken-chan’s body real tight.

Then, I started ripping his clothes off.

At that, Ken-chan started thrashing around even more frantically.

As an answer to my question, Dalis-kun’s voice echoed directly into my mind.

Luna-kun’s ear-piercing scream reverberated throughout the Demon Lord’s castle.
