Chapter 16 – The Senpai Character, Rinko-San
“First, let’s look for the senpai who was in the drama club last year.”
“Yeah, that’s right.”
We left the student council room and went to the cultural club building to look for Rinko-senpai.
“Um, drama club, drama club…”
“Ah, it’s right there!”
At the very back of the cultural club building. It was humid and poorly lit, and the fluorescent lights were broken, so it was pitch black, but the drama club room was there.
“Are you sure this is the right place?”
Mikan frowned, and Takanashi pointed to the nameplate.
“Yes. Look.”
In front of where Takanashi pointed, on a worn-out board like a kamaboko board, there was “Drama Club” written in faint letters that you would never find unless you looked carefully.
“Is this really where this Rinko-senpai is?”
Yamada said in a mocking tone.
“I don’t know, but let’s go in for now.”
Gulp…
I swallowed and timidly knocked on the door.
Knock, knock, knock.
The knocks echoed in the dark corridor.
“Yes?”
After a moment, a husky, slightly lethargic voice came. It seemed that Rinko-senpai was in the clubroom.
“Excuse me…”
I nervously opened the door and was greeted by a senior with red hair and a ponytail.
She had a tall stature, long limbs like a model, and a face as beautiful as a doll. This is the fourth heroine, Rinko-senpai.
“What do you guys want here?”
Rinko-senpai glared at us with cold eyes.
In truth, Rinko-senpai is not a bad person. She just has narrow eyes and looks unfriendly. In fact, she is the most sensible and normal character in the quirky school.
However, the other members, unaware of this, seemed to be intimidated by Rinko-senpai’s presence.
It can’t be helped. I stepped forward and began to explain.
“Well, actually——”
“Huh, I see.”
After hearing my explanation, Rinko-senpai nodded in understanding.
“Okay. Then let’s merge your drama club with the one I’m in now.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. I can be the club president, right? I’m a third-year after all.”
“Yeah, that’s fine.”
Great, now we can finally get the drama club up and running!
But…
Yamada looked around restlessly.
“Even so, this club room is pretty small and dirty.”
As Yamada said, the six-tatami room was filled with old costumes and props, and it was hard to imagine that we could hold club activities there.
Not only was it small, but we now have seven members, two more than in Momogaku’s original work.
“It would be nice if we could at least use the room next door.”
Takanashi peeked into the club room next door.
The room next door was an empty classroom, and looked much larger than this one.
It would certainly be convenient if we could use this classroom for props and costumes, and the one next door as a practice room.
“I see. I think the student council president has the key to the cultural club building, so I’ll ask about it when I go to the student council room to submit the club establishment form.”
Rinko-senpai suggested this as she ran her pen over the paperwork.
“By the way, it’s fine that I’m the president, but who should we make the vice president?”
She tapped the documents with her pen.
Come to think of it, in the original Momogaku, Takanashi was chosen as vice-president, and there were more scenes where he was alone with the club president, Rinko-senpai, which some of those were…quite risque.
I failed to exclude Rinko-senpai from the club, but I absolutely have to prevent Takanashi from becoming the vice president!
I quickly raised my hand.
“I’ll do it.”
“Wow, you’re motivated, I see.”
Rinko-senpai happily wrote my name in the “Vice-president” column.
Kukku, with this, the flag between Rinko-senpai and Takanashi should be destroyed.
“Okay, Takeda-kun and I will go to the student council room to hand in some paperwork, so can you all clean up this room?”
“Yes!”
And so, Rinko-senpai and I headed off to the student council room once again.

“Oh, it’s you. You’re here again.”
The student council president laughed and crossed her legs.
Of course, she didn’t forget to show us her “absolute territory” and panties.
“Yes. As the student council president said, we’ve joined up with Rinko-senpai and merged into the existing drama club. This should be fine, right?”
I handed her the documents and the student council president reluctantly accepted them.
“Well, it can’t be helped.”
“Also, we have a request.”
Rinko-senpai spoke up.
“What is it?”
“Actually, our club room is cramped, and we’d like to use the room next door as well.”
“What do you mean?”
The student council president’s eyebrows twitched.
“You should be grateful that I’m approving your club, but now you’re being rude and complaining about the club room?”
“B-but, there are now seven members——”
The student council president glared at us.
“I will never grant such a request!”
