I let out a big yawn as I sat in my seat. Well, it was inevitable to feel sleepy right after lunch. Besides, right now, neither Moeka nor Kasumi was in the classroom, so I had no one to talk to and was completely bored… Kasumi had gone to the student council room for a meeting. Moeka had gone to the staff room to ask the teacher about a question she didn’t understand in class.

W-wait a second! Why is Moeka walking together with that insane delinquent!?
I couldn’t understand it at all and my head was spinning. And why was Moeka smiling so calmly while being with that guy!?

After talking a bit, they parted ways in a friendly atmosphere. I couldn’t believe what I had just seen, so I immediately ran over to Moeka, who was now alone, and called out.
“H-hey! Moeka!”

“Oh, that’s what you mean. Well, I went to the staff room earlier, right? Then the teacher asked me to run an errand and carry some notebooks. While I was carrying them, Kuze-kun called out to me, and he helped me carry the notebooks. Wow, Kuze-kun really helped me out a lot.”
“H-haa? Moeka, what are you doing? You can’t just go near that insane delinquent when he talks to you! You could have carried the notebooks by yourself! So why are you asking Kuze for help!?”
“Huh? N-no, I didn’t ask for his help. Kuze-kun offered on his own, so I just accepted his help with carrying the notebooks.”

I wanted to keep warning Moeka even more, but the chime signaling the start of afternoon classes rang, so I ended my scolding at a reasonable stopping point. Although I can definitely imagine that the story will develop in that direction, I think that I disagree that Kakeru is showing significantly unreasonable traits here, let alone insane abusive traits. It seems quite reasonable that he would be concerned about the delinquent Kuze. Even their classmates are suspicious of Kuze just for coming to school, so the delinquent being near, and even actually actively approaching, someone who you’ve been friends with for years could reasonably cause great concern, especially since Moeka has been established as being airheaded, which might mean she could be more easily tricked. Naturally, he’s wrong here since the MC reincarnated into Kuze’s body, but Kakeru’s actions don’t seem unreasonable on their own.
Some aspects that I think could hint towards some unreasonable traits are: not trusting Moeka’s judgement about Kuze’s character, shouting at her, and Kakeru’s thoughts of her being helpless and him being responsible for her. The first is made more reasonable by Moeka being airheaded and Kuze’s known reputation and the rumors surrounding him, and the second is made more reasonable if you consider him being highly concerned and panicking in the heat of the moment, even if it might not be the best way of handling it. The third point about his thoughts is the only thing that seems like it might be notable to me, but even that isn’t something that leans too heavily towards unreasonable traits, IMO.
Oh, upon rereading, another potentially questionable part is him thinking that Moeka smiling so calmly near Kuze is wrong. That could be interpreted as him not liking that she’s smiling near another guy, and I can imagine the story developing in that direction. But still, not something that seems super bad on its own to me, since it’s Kuze the delinquent that she’s around in this case. If it was just some random guy that hadn’t done anything, that would be much stranger, but it’s not unreasonable to think that something is wrong in this case, IMO.
