Kanon had been observing her brother enduring such situations.

In this context, Kanna appeared.

From Kanon’s perspective, Kanna’s presence had the potential to shake Keisuke’s mental support.

Avoiding eye contact, Kanon spoke. Kanna gently placed her hand on Kanon’sher soft, giant marshmallow. Gradually, her fingers sank in, and the image of a certain man flashed through her mind.

“Indeed, there are many bad people in the world, as Kanon-chan mentioned. There are a few in my class too.”

“Oh…?”

“Just because someone stands out a bit more than others doesn’t mean it’s okay to humiliate or bully them!”

The beef stew in the clay pot emitted a rich and fragrant aroma, but it was not ready yet.

When Kanon showed interest, Kanna continued speaking.

“Huh? What’s wrong, Kanon-chan?”

Sending a momentarily murderous gaze, Kanon suddenly spoke with a serious expression.

“Onii-sama doesn’t need a sow. But… he needs a mentor.”

“I am Itsuki’s girlfriend.”

“…I knew that.”

“You knew, huh…”

“Well, it’s easy to tell just by looking.”

“Anyway, I won’t tolerate anyone mocking Itsuki’s cherished friend.”

“So, if there’s anything, I want you to tell me too. Today is the first time I’ve met you, but I’ve heard a lot about Hosokawa-kun from Itsuki.”

“Kanna-san…”
