- I Was Falsely Confessed to and Exposed in Front of Everyone, so I Jumped off the Roof
- Chapter 22 - His Prayer
I was just quietly watching the monitor. The deployment was complete.
“Everything’s ready on this side, too.”
“Got it. Thank you. Let’s go live!”
I pressed the AWS start button. Logs appeared, and I confirmed the game server had started without any problems.
“Kagiroi-san. Is the main channel running?”
“All good. Test account play works fine.”
“Great. Then start the recommendation ads. Activate the bots and begin faking posts on various forums!”
“Understood. Bots activated. Posting play videos and reviews on review sites now.”
“Check the user count.”
“Right now, 65% of the pre-notified users have logged in. Everything’s going smoothly.”
“Send out orders for influencers to post play videos.”
“Commands sent to Youtuber and Vtuber. Live streams started on various video sites.”
“Alright, let’s watch for a while. Good work. Time to take a break.”
I had launched the game I made. Kagiroi-san made coffee and brought some snacks. We picked at them while watching the monitors.
“I hope it goes well.”
“It will. I can feel it.”
And just as I expected, it did. The number of users skyrocketed. At the same time, payments started coming in.
“No way! It’s growing this fast?! Are the servers going to hold?!”
“That’s why I said that algorithm!”
The servers handled everything easily, all thanks to AWS scaling. The processing speed was even better than I predicted. With this, we could save about 76% of the cost we had planned to pay AWS for usage.
“Amazing! Amazing!! You really are incredible!! See? I told you so!”
Kagiroi-san hugged me, tears streaming down her face, but she was smiling. I gently stroked her cheek and savored our success.

[Indie Game Breakthrough!!]
Indie games have now become a standard way to express creativity. People all over the world can easily make and share games, and many enjoy playing them. Among these, a new star has appeared, shining brightly.
The circle “José e a Luz do Fogo” presents,
[Filhos de Deus nas Ruas]
A direct translation might be something like “Children of God in the Streets.” The game is set in a fictional South American slum, probably in Brazil, called “Santa Aurora.” The story follows the main character as they rise through the ranks. A premise that might look like another gang fantasy at first glance. But there’s something more here. The story carries a sincere, almost prayer-like feeling. It shows the dark side of society through children who have no choice but to live by crime, told with a light, clever touch. The game mixes the bright energy of Latin life with brutal darkness, teaching players about sin and punishment. The game’s payment system is interesting too. Usually, players pay to strengthen their characters. But in this game, the player acts as a kind, ordinary person giving money to the character. The main character then uses that money for crime. Because the social system in the game supports violence, the player’s kindness doesn’t reach them. This sense of futility is captivating. Even after the game ends and you return to everyday life, the darkness of “Santa Aurora” lingers in your mind. Amazingly, such a deep world was created by an indie circle and not a big company. I asked the creators for an interview, but they politely declined, saying, “Game feedback belongs to the players.” They did say the series will continue to expand in the future. This is a game worth trying. I recommend it with confidence.
♢ ♢ ♢
Sumire was playing a game on her phone. At first, she looked really serious, but then she started sniffling and crying.
“Ugh! How can something this sad happen?! Waaah!”
Even as she said that, she seemed to be pressing buttons and spending money in the game.
“Sumire, if it’s making you sad, why don’t you just stop playing?”
“What are you talking about?! The sadness is part of the game!!”
I didn’t really understand. Isn’t a game supposed to be fun?
“This [Wolf] game is seriously amazing! I can’t stop spending money!!”
Well, I guess she could do what she wanted.
“Ruika-chan!!”
“Y-yes! What is it?!”
“Let’s do a gameplay video together!!”
“Huh? I’m not really interested in that game, so wouldn’t it be a bother?”
“That’s fine!! You’ll play it for the first time, and I’ll be the supportive lover from behind streaming next to you!!”
“Hmm… Well, if you really want to, I’ll join you.”
“Thank you! This game has to go viral!!”
Since Sumire was so excited, I decided to give it a try. I could understand why she wanted to show off something she loved. It wasn’t really a loss for me, so I thought, why not?
