I Thought I Was Saving the School's Princess, But Ended Up Having to Take Responsibility for Her Sick Twin Sister - Chapter 30
Chapter 30
The first day of the three-day weekend.
Miki had called me out, and I found myself riding the train to a station about four stops away. This wasn’t my first time coming here; I’d been to this station once before, when I saw Yuki off.
The meeting spot was the bookstore at the station. It wasn’t particularly large, just a cozy little shop.
I quickly scanned the interior but didn’t see anyone resembling Miki. I decided to kill time flipping through a random magazine.
A while later, someone appeared beside me. Thinking I was in their way, I took a step to the side. The figure moved closer. I stepped aside again. They stepped closer yet again.
“Hey.”
My sleeve was tugged.
Looking up from the magazine, I saw a figure in a hat pulled low over their face, wearing large, round, black-framed glasses.
“Oh… Miki?”
“I’ve been here the whole time.”
Miki wasn’t dressed in a charming, elegant dress that would make heads turn. Instead, she wore a muted hoodie and black pants. Apparently, she’d been in the store the entire time, but I hadn’t noticed until she spoke up. She gave off absolutely zero presence.
Noticing the look on my face, as if she had guessed what I was thinking, Miki spoke up.
“I don’t want anyone I know to recognize me.”
“Cool! Just like a celebrity.”
“I don’t want to wander around too much, so let’s go already.”
With that, Miki didn’t say another word and started walking.
And not just walking — she moved at a brisk pace, as if trying to leave me behind. She strode out of the store, past the station, across the roundabout, and into a quieter back alley.
We didn’t exchange a single word as I followed her lead. It felt like I’d become an NPC follower in an RPG.
Eventually, a convenience store came into view up ahead.
Since I’d eaten lunch at an odd hour earlier, I was starting to feel a little hungry. I decided to speak up.
“Hey, can I grab something to eat?”
“No.”
Without even glancing back, she shot down my request.
She must really not want to be seen together with me.
It was just past 2 p.m. The soft autumn sunlight streamed down, making it a perfect day to be out and about.
But where we arrived wasn’t a bustling hangout spot — it was an apartment tucked away in a labyrinth of backstreets.
Standing in front of the building’s entrance, Miki began operating the intercom. Beyond the unlocked door was a cozy entrance lobby furnished with sofas and tables.
The place looked high-end from the outside, and the interior was clean and modern. A far cry from the run-down apartment I called home.
We took the elevator up, then walked down a corridor before stopping at a door. Miki fiddled with her keys to unlock it.
She still hadn’t spoken a word, but oddly, she seemed to be struggling a bit with the key.
When we finally stepped inside, I took my shoes off and followed suit. However, as she stepped forward, Miki must have snagged her foot on something. She suddenly stumbled and fell forward, catching herself on her hands against the floor.
From my vantage point behind her, I was treated to an unintentionally service pose with her butt sticking out towards me.
Miki blushed but quickly stood up as if nothing had happened.
From the moment we met, her behavior had been a bit strange.
The interior of the apartment was spacious, just as I had expected. The hallway extended in polished wooden flooring, and near the entrance, there was a bottle of scented oil sticks placed on a shelf, releasing a unique fragrance.
We walked past several rooms and went straight into the living room. It was at least twice the size of my apartment. A sleek, movable partition stood near a stylish kitchen, and it looked like there were even more rooms further in.
“I’m going to change clothes. Wait here,” Miki said before disappearing from view. She left me on the couch, which was leather and looked expensive.
In front of me sat a TV, easily three times the size of the one at my place.
She took longer than expected. While fiddling with my phone, I heard footsteps approaching and quickly stuffed it into my jacket pocket.
Miki returned, and her appearance had drastically changed—she now looked like a princess.
She was wearing a thin, flowing, camisole-style dress. It looked like a nightgown…..a negligeeIt was entirely pink, with a design unsuitable for wearing outside. Her shoulders and collarbone were almost entirely exposed. The lace hem was slightly translucent, revealing a hint of her thighs. She looked like an erotic princess.
Miki sat on the couch, leaving some space between us. Her expression remained stiff, and she avoided making eye contact. She didn’t say anything, creating an unusual tension between us.
“Wow, the TV is huge. I bet playing games on it would be amazing,” I said, deliberately steering the conversation to something mundane. Miki didn’t respond. I tried again.
“This place is big. Who lives here? Three people, was it?”
“Yeah. But my mom rarely comes home, so it’s mostly just Yuki and me.”
“Huh? Isn’t it awkward if you don’t get along?”
“Not really. We mostly holed up in our own rooms.”
Yuki wasn’t home today. She had gone to a salon in the city with their mom in the morning and planned to stay over at their mom’s place. Miki had timed this visit accordingly.
After that, silence filled the air again. While I was wondering how to proceed, Miki glanced at me as if she couldn’t stand the tension anymore.
“Um… I took a shower before I went out. Should I take another one?” she asked, her tone uncertain.
“No, you’re fine.”
She had already smelled amazing when we first met, and now, with her light outfit, the scent seemed even more prominent.
Miki stood up as if she had made up her mind. “My room… is over there.”
I stood up and followed her. She led me back down the hallway and opened the door to the first room. This was Miki’s room.
The curtains were drawn, making it dim inside. The large items visible included a bed, a dresser, a table, and a clothes rack. It was tidy and well-organized.
As I entered, Miki closed the door. She sat at the edge of the bed and looked up at me. She didn’t say a word but seemed to be waiting. Clearly, she wanted me to sit down as well.
I sat on the bed, leaving some space between us. Miki’s expression was tense, and her nervousness was palpable. It didn’t help that the Mickey M-use plush by her pillow seemed to be staring right at me, breaking the atmosphere slightly.
“Just to confirm… are you really okay with this?”
Miki gave a small nod, her gesture carrying an odd air of seduction in the dim light.
“Before we do this, can I ask again about the reason?”
The reason—why I was at the Tachibana residence today.
That night after our lunchtime spectacle, Miki had called me. Naturally, it was about her fulfilling a favor in exchange for me granting one of hers. I had nervously tried to probe her intentions, dreading what she might ask.
“I mean, I’ll do what I can, but, uh… If you’re thinking of something pricey like a designer bag, I’m not sure—”
“It’s nothing that involves money,” she reassured me.
That was a relief. Whatever happened, Miki had come through on her end of the promise. It’d be uncool to bail now.
“So, what is it? Seems like you’ve had this planned from the start.”
“…Will you do it with me?” she said, her voice barely audible.
“Huh? Do what?”
“Will you have s*x with me?”
hahahaha she can’t resist now
the race start now
