Chapter 25 – Execution
When I came back from the hospital and sat down on the sofa in the spacious living room of the luxurious apartment, Kuu timidly approached me and climbed onto my lap.
“Nyaa.”
“Are you confused by the new size of the room?”
I asked, picking up Kuu.
Our house, which had been a one-room apartment, was suddenly transformed into a three-bedroom apartment, with one room being an exact replica of the previous room.
The fact that the Shiratori Group were able to recreate this in just one day shows how amazing they are.
At the hospital, I spoke briefly with Yuna-sa, Aobami-san, and Anzai-san.
“Suzuki-san, your condition has now been confirmed.”
Aobami-san calmly looked at the results and told me.
“Yes. But how are we going to use this certificate to punish Sato-kun?”
Yuna-san smiled at my question and replied.
“Uncle, there’s nothing to worry about. This is the real thing that’s about to begin. This is just the beginning. We plan to not only legally corner him but also widely publicize the crimes he has committed.”
The way she said it made me a bit scared to ask for details.
“First, we’ll release the forged certificate to the media through MPB. Then, we’ll gather evidence to publicly expose Sato Daiki’s false statements. We’ll collect his videos on NewTube and his posts on social media, and proceed with legal action.”
“I doubt that alone will make him feel guilty…”
Sato Daiki has lived his life as if he were the center of the world.
Even with this incident, it’s not as though his entire life will be over.
It would be a shame to leave such a precious man like this.
Will that influential man with so many followers fall from grace with just this incident?
“Don’t worry, Uncle. We have another plan.”
Yuna-san smiled a little mischievously.
Her expression made me feel a little uneasy.
“What’s your plan?”
“What he did violates the ‘Men’s Protection Law.’ This law was established to protect the dignity and rights of the minority male population, and his actions clearly infringe upon it. We can use this to legally corner him.”
Doesn’t that law apply to him as well? I think a young, good-looking guy like him is more important than an average-looking old man like me.
“We intend to turn his influence against him.”
“I’m sure there are many followers among his who are disappointed by his actions and have given up on him. We intend to turn those people on our side.”
I’m not very good with social media, but can something like that really be done?
“We may need to ask for your help when the time comes.”
“Okay, I’ll help if there’s anything I can do.”
Even though this concerns me, it feels like it’s someone else’s problem.
“But will his followers really believe me?”
“Don’t worry. We’ll back you up. With the influence of the Shiratori Group and the credibility of MPB, many people will come to know the truth.”
“And your voice, Uncle, is the truth. People seek the truth, and we will help deliver it.”
I have nothing more to say in response to Aobami-san and Yuna-san’s words.
I’ll simply surrender myself to their plan.
“Understood. I’ll follow your plan. Sato Daiki will have to take responsibility for his actions.”
And so, we decided to take concrete action to corner Sato Daiki.
