Episode 53: Final Day of Semester Exams
Today marked the final day of the semester exams. My scores should be good this time as well.
To be honest, when it comes to studying, I have a bit of an unfair advantage. Having been a college student in my previous life, I haven’t completely forgotten how to study for exams.
On top of that, teaching Nagitsuki helped me solidify my understanding. It’s true what they say—teaching is the best way to learn.
“Hey, Nishikikouji!” As I was packing up to leave, the classroom door suddenly slammed open with a loud bang. Everyone’s eyes turned toward the door, startled by the sound.
“Guess what! I think I’m going to avoid failing for the first time!” The person who’d grabbed everyone’s attention strode confidently toward me, completely unfazed by the stares. It was none other than Nagitsuki Asahina.

“If you do get a perfect score, we should celebrate.” “Really? Then I’ll make sure to pray even harder every day!”
As we talked, I could feel the atmosphere around us growing more restless. The whispers in the room were almost palpable as if the air itself was buzzing. I could guess what the others were thinking:
“Who is this girl? Why is Nishikikouji talking to someone like her? What’s this study session thing about?”
And, of course, some were probably wondering, “Why would someone like her hang out with him?” After all, the bad rumors about me still lingered throughout the school.
“Test results day is going to be so exciting!” “After all your effort, avoiding a failing grade is pretty much guaranteed.”
“Right? Right?” Nagitsuki hopped in place, beaming with joy. Then, as if noticing a notification on her phone, she said:
