Summary
“The price of touching their hearts was simple— ‘I can’t live without you, Sensei.’”
A clinical psychologist who died from overwork was reborn into the world of Bloom Garden, the only dating game that had ever brought him comfort in his previous life.
But—
He wasn’t the protagonist. He wasn’t even a love interest.
He had reincarnated as a background NPC school counselor who appeared in exactly one line of text.
No name. No character portrait. One single line of existence.
“…Come on, at least make me the protagonist’s Friend A or something.”
Complaining wouldn’t change anything.
After starting his job at Hanazono-gaoka Academy as the new counselor, Ren Asagiri realized something important.
The heroines of the game carried deep emotional scars that were never shown on screen.
The student council president who had lost her sense of emotion behind a perfect smile. The cheerful mood-maker who couldn’t rely on anyone. The beautiful crossdressing “prince” who was close to breaking from constantly playing her role. The silent girl who couldn’t turn her words into sound. The troubled delinquent who trusted no adults and wore her anger like armor.
In the game, all of their “problems” were solved with one cool move from the handsome protagonist—
But in reality, nothing was ever that simple.
Using the counseling skills from his past life and his knowledge of the game, Ren began gently supporting the heroines’ hearts.
He reached toward the hidden sides of them that the game’s protagonist had never seen.
However—“If you’re not here, Sensei… I’ll fall apart.”
The more he healed them, the more they began to depend on him.
“Trust” slowly turned into “obsession.” “Gratitude” quietly transformed into “possessiveness.”
And the counseling room—
Became a battlefield where five girls fought over one man.
The game’s protagonist “conquered” them. I “treated” them.
What broke wasn’t their hearts—
It was their sense of distance.
This was a prescription-style romantic comedy where a nameless NPC ended up being “captured” by every heroine behind the scenes of a dating game.

Actual peak, I like how the author implements actual psychology technique used by actual therapist, there are many characters with each of their own unique issues and personality that make us the readers able to relate to at least one of them.
The way each character interacts with each other so seamlessly make the story felt much more alive and natural that it doesn’t feels forced. How the author integrates the original “MC” into the story are also great and refreshing for this genre of Isekai.
Damn, this was real good story, also quite the intresting one.
I’m hooked. It’s really quite interesting. For a supposed RomCom, the author takes a very unconventional approach that focuses on mostly on the psychology of the characters through everyday interactions.
Every word, action or approach the protagonist does is thoroughly reasoned and logically explained. You can really see and feel the progress one step at a time.
I’m only on chapter 17 and there’s been very little sexual tension. Not even a slither of romance. Only progress. Its never really shown but if there’s anything I’m really curious about then it’s POV from the heroines side.
I have absolutely no idea where it’s going but if it’s anything like the prologue then I absolutely can’t wait to find out.
I actually like the concept ☺️ waiting for new chapters to unlock
Alright bro I’m sold. When are you posting the remaining 9 chapters? How is the author’s release schedule?
