- I Reincarnated As A Trash Prince With The Strongest Skill
- Chapter 6 - Adventurer's Guild (1)
The following day, I greeted the day feeling refreshed and energized.
What I was doing right now was pure selfishness. Still, I have no remorse.
The king exiled me like a disposable pawn anyways, so no one would complain even if I dropped dead.
My plan was simple. But to execute it, I needed something first.
“Yosh! All set!”
Feeling satisfied after fixing my looks, I left the room and descended the stairs to the cafeteria.
A woman, probably in her late twenties, greeted me joyously.
[Name: Lilia
Level: 50
Age: 28
Job: Healer
Skills: Heal (Rank 5), Detoxify (Rank 4)
Condition: Healthy]
‘A healer. Her level was high. She’s probably an A or B rank adventurer.’
Her aptitude was beyond what I expected. The frilled apron annotates her delicate and fragile look. But as conjectured of the healer class, her angelic smile as she greeted me made my heart thump.
“Oya, Good morning. You’re up early.”
“Good morning to you too. Is the breakfast already available?”
“It’s almost done. Breakfast is bread and soup. Take a seat, and I’ll serve you the meal once it’s ready.”
“Thank you very much.”
The sweet aroma of freshly baked bread and soup enters my nose. My stomach grumbled a little as I moved toward the table.
All those fatigues due to brainstorming yesterday are appearing now. My taste buds were looking forward to a sumptuous meal.
After waiting a few minutes, that delicious fragrance appeared before me.
“Sorry for the wait. Here’s your breakfast.”
“Thank you very much.”
“You’re welcome.”
“If you don’t mind me asking, do you know where is the adventurer’s guild?”
“The adventurer’s guild is found on the main plaza. After exiting, turn left and follow the road towards the city’s center. Are you going on a quest?”
“Yes. But I am not registered yet.”
“I see. Your eyes tell me otherwise.”
“Haha. You flatter me. I’m just an aspiring adventurer.”
“Oh! I thought you were one already! There will be an examination at the guild.”
“Got it. Thank you very much for the tip.”
“No worries, and sorry for disturbing your meal. Eat before it gets cold.”
Afterward, Lilia walked away.
“Thank you for the meal!”
I began nibbling the meal in front of me. The meal looked ordinary, but the aroma and taste filled my stomach. The bread’s softness, along with the rich soup, was gratifying.
With my belly filled up, I again thanked Lilia and left the inn.

“Swords, axe, bows! Come one, come all!”
Buzzing noises echoed as I walked towards the central plaza where the adventurer guild was.
All kinds of stalls cater to the needs of adventurers and mercenaries.
After a few minutes, my foot halted—a three-story building with a wide door, the adventurer’s guild. Many people walked in and out as I deeply inhaled to quell my excitement.
This feeling, this sensation. One that you can only feel in games and fantasy settings.
Feeling the adrenaline rush and anticipation, I approached the counter.
A girl with braided hair and glasses greeted me with a lovely smile.
“What can I help you with?”
“I would like to apply as an adventurer.”
“It costs one gold coin and an examination accompanied by a guild examiner. Do you still wish to continue the application?”
“Yes. Here’s the application fee of 1 gold.”
“I have received it. Please wait while I prepare the documents and set you up with an examiner.”
“Alright.”
Saying so, the receptionist turned her back towards the counter and went inside the backroom.
“Hey, hey. Look what we have here. Ain’t you lost, little kid?”
“Pardon?”
Humongous muscles blocked my sight as I looked back to reply. His high-pitched voice did not blend well with his brusque image of him.
“Pft.”
“Hey. What are you laughing at?”
“I’m sorry, it’s just that… Pfft… Haha.”
Chuckled peals of laughter escaped from my lips. I couldn’t help it. His voice was that of a chirping bird paired with an orc’s body.
“Do I look like a joke to you?”
“Please stop… Fuhahaha…”
The more he spoke, the more I could not contain my laughter. Angry veins started popping out of his face as he suddenly moved to punch me.
*Smash*
“[Stone Wall].”
A few inches away from me erected a stone wall, shielding me from the impact of his punch.
*Clang*
A loud sound reverbed throughout the guild, making everyone’s attention focus on us.
“So you’re not some wimpy lost kid after all. I should take this seriously, then.”
Saying so, the bulky guy postured himself and gathered mana around himself.
People around us started cheering happily as if this was an everyday occurrence. Some even started betting as if this was some amusement.
“Have you lost your touch, Dran?”
“Fight, fight, fight!”
“I put ten copper on the new kid!”
“One hundred coppers for Dran!”
‘[All-Seeing]‘
[Name: Dran
Level: 25
Adventurer Rank: D
Job: Tanker
Skills: Physical Enhancement (Rank 3), Smash (Rank 3)
Condition: Enraged]
So his name is ‘Dran.’ Quite a level for a Rank D adventurer. This fight can be a good measure of my strength and weakness.
Readying myself to parry his attack, I started gathering mana in my hand. Although he is a tanker, his punch went through my [Stone Wall].
“You asked for this, kiddo! [Smash]!”
“Come.”
“Haaaaaaa!”
As Dran’s [Smash] was about to impact my [Stone Wall], a person stood before us and stopped Dran’s hand with just her finger.
“Riora.”
