I Reincarnated as a Mob Character in a Romcom Manga—After I Kept Comforting the Third “Fanservice” Heroine When She Got Dumped and Cried, I Feel Like She’s Started Directing Some Seriously Heavy Feelings at Me - Chapter 63 & 64
Chapter 63: The Gloomy Mob Put on Trial
Her clear, ringing voice—and the weight of those words—brought the entire classroom to a sudden halt.
Why…?
Why would she say something like that in front of everyone?
Wasn’t she disappointed in me this morning?
Didn’t she basically abandon me after I started acting pathetic?
The silence.
The stunned faces of our classmates.
The countless eyes locking onto the two of us all at once—
It felt like the whole room was kicking me from behind, demanding, Answer her. Now.
My brain shut down completely.
Without thinking through a single thing, I just nodded stiffly, like a malfunctioning robot.
“Y-Yeah… fireworks. Right. Sure. Let’s watch them together… just the two of us…”
After hearing my reply, Chloe simply said, “Good. It’s settled.”
Then, as casually as if she were stepping out to the restroom, she turned and walked out of the classroom.
The moment she disappeared through the door—
The room exploded into whispers.
“O-Oiii! Mitsushima just invited Jeromiya to the fireworks! And she did it instantly!”
“No way! So those rumors about them dating were actually true!? You’ve got to be kidding!”
“Wait, wait—Chloe-san said she’s watching the fireworks with Jeromiya! And he agreed! Seriously!?”
“H-Hold on, if you’re watching that fireworks show alone together, that’s basically beyond a confession—that’s like a proposal! Chloe’s way too aggressive!”
“Wait, so after Yaohara, now it’s Jeromiya!? Why is someone as popular as Chloe falling for two plain guys in a row!? Is that her type or something!?”
The whispers piled up and crashed over me like a tidal wave.
I spun around helplessly, overwhelmed by the noise.
Then—
A group of the class’s top-tier popular guys stormed over to my desk, looking like they were about to charge into battle.
“W-Whoa—!?”
Before I could react, their leader stepped forward.
Tachibana—the head of the social elite group and someone who usually got along well with Chloe Mitsushima.
BAM!
He slammed both hands down on my desk.
“O-Oi, Jeromiya! I saw that! I heard that! Are you seriously planning to watch the fireworks with Chloe!?”
“Eh!? I—I mean… yeah. W-We kind of just promised…”
As I awkwardly admitted it, a few of the popular guys went pale.
Tachibana grabbed the edges of my desk and started shaking it violently.
“O-Oi oi oi oi, seriously!? Seriously!? Is this for real!? W-What the hell are you, man!? Until recently you were that guy who didn’t talk to anyone!! How did you get that close to Chloe in such a short time!? Did you dig up some kind of dirt on her or something!?”
“N-No, it’s not like that! There was just… kind of a trigger—”
“What kind of trigger gets you so close in one month that she basically reverse-proposes to you!? That’s insane! I’ve been in the same class as her since first year, you lucky bastard!! …N-No, that’s not the point! That’s not what matters right now!”
Tachibana gulped.
Still leaning over my desk with both hands planted on it, he stared at me with bloodshot eyes.
“…Jeromiya. How far did you go with Chloe?”
“Huh?”
“Did you already grab those boobs? Or did you go further—like, have you sucked on them yet?”
The question came completely out of nowhere.
I panicked and shook my head frantically.
“W-Wait, no! T-That’s not—! F-From a privacy protection standpoint, there’s no way I can answer something like that even if you ask—!”
“So that means you did enjoy them, you bastard!! I won’t forgive you! Those are H-cups, H-cups! S-So how were they!? The softness!? The size!? The weight!? The taste!? If you experienced it, the least you can do as a classmate is share your impressions!!”
“W-Well, um… actually she said she might’ve evolved from H to I-cup…”
“Y-You little—!! That just makes it worse! Why are you the only one getting classified top-secret updates like that!? W-Wait, I-cup!? Evolved to I-cup!? That’s insane! That’s way too erotic!!”
“Gyaaaah!”Tachibana clawed at his own hair in pure frustration, then suddenly changed expression—like someone who had just committed a grave crime—and turned to address the rest of the class.
“Haah! All you guys in this class! Can you really forgive this injustice!? Sneaking ahead is already a serious violation of bro code, and this guy has not only fondled Chloe Mitsushima’s massive chest—he basically just confessed he might’ve even sucked on them! Can you let that slide!?”
“Guilty!”
“Totally guilty!”
“No objections!”
Voices erupted from every corner of the classroom.
“H-Hey!?”
A terrified squeak escaped me as the verdict crashed down from all directions.
“Alright, the verdict’s been delivered. …Jeromiya, by the authority of this Class Court, you are guilty. Sentence: maximum punishment.”
“W-Wha—!? H-Hold on! That’s insane! At least let me get a lawyer and request a retrial—!”
“Shut up, you lucky bastard! Listen up, guys! At the beach, we’re dragging him out to where he can’t touch the bottom—glug glug, gasp, glug glug—and we won’t let him come back up until he spills every last detail about Chloe’s boobs! The softness! The flavor! Everything! Got it!?”
“W-Whaaat!? Y-You can’t be serious—!!”
As I flailed in panic, the top-tier popular guys all nodded in unison, eyes bloodshot, glaring at me with a mix of jealousy and murderous resentment.
—And just like that, my very first beach trip in this life was officially scheduled to become a traumatic memory I would never want to revisit.

Chapter 64: The Fanservice Heroine in a Bad Mood
A few hours after I—the invisible, gloomy loner mob—had been manhandled by several of the class’s top-tier popular guys…
I was once again dragging myself toward the stairs behind the school building.
My steps felt heavy.
But my shoulders felt even heavier.
About as heavy as a certain part of Chloe Mitsushima.
Thanks to Chloe’s explosive declaration that morning, the class had more or less accepted it as established fact that we were dating.
No—worse.
They’d apparently upgraded it to, “They’ve definitely already crossed the line.”
The rest of the morning classes had been torture.
Killer glares.
Relentless tongue-clicking.
An atmosphere so hostile it felt like I was sitting on a bed of needles.
Meanwhile, Chloe?
She had stayed unusually quiet.
Cold. Distant. Silent.
The girls in class were clearly dying to interrogate her down to the smallest detail, but with the way she was acting, no one dared approach her.
And before anyone could even try—
Lunch break began.
The moment the bell rang, she picked up the two lunch bags she’d brought and swiftly left the classroom.
Which meant she was probably heading to our usual spot.
But…
What about me?
What kind of face am I even supposed to make during lunch today?
This morning, I suddenly couldn’t handle touching her.
Then I spiraled into despair thinking she had abandoned me.
And right after that—
She dropped a bomb that completely overturned that entire assumption.
What is she even trying to do?
No—more importantly…
What’s wrong with me?
No matter how much I thought about it, I couldn’t figure it out.
Still lost in confusion, I turned the final corner that led to the stairs behind the school building.
And there she was.
Chloe Mitsushima.
She was sitting there with her long legs stretched out, resting her cheek on her hand, chin tilted slightly upward as she gazed coolly at the scenery.
I hesitated, unsure how to start.
Then I awkwardly forced out a greeting.
“U-Um… excuse me… would it be okay if I joined you again today…?”
I asked carefully, almost trembling.
Without taking her eyes off the view, Chloe lifted her right hand and pointed to the ground beside her with her index finger.
Come here.
That was clearly what it meant.
Thank God.
At least I wasn’t banned from sitting next to her.
Overwhelmed with relief, I hurried over in small, quick steps—
And nervously sat down a few steps below where she was sitting.
Instantly, her eyes sharpened.
“…What are you doing?”
“Eh?”
“I said sit next to me. Why are you sitting lower like you’re trying to keep your distance?”
“Eh? Ehh?”
“What are you hesitating for? Just get over here! Next to me! Sit!!”
She suddenly raised her voice, sounding genuinely irritated.
I flinched hard.
Panicking, I quickly moved up and sat properly on the same step as her.
“Haah…”
She let out a long sigh—
Then shuffled her hips closer and pressed herself right up against me.
“…What?”
“What do you mean, ‘what’?”
“W-Why are you sticking so close…?”
“Am I not allowed to? We’re war buddies, aren’t we?”
“B-But this morning you just left me and walked off like it was nothing! I-I thought you were mad at me! I seriously thought I said something weird and you abandoned me!”
“What kind of nonsense are you spouting? Are you stupid?”
She cut me off sharply, clearly annoyed.
“Like I’d suddenly start hating you now. No way. Absolutely impossible. We’ve already made out, I let you squeeze my boobs, and we even promised to watch the fireworks together. Why would I hate someone after all that? I think every single day about when I’m going to push you down and just take you. I’m planning to move in with you the second we get into college. I want to propose somewhere with a beautiful night view—like a fancy restaurant overlooking the city. And I’ve already decided I want five kids with you—two boys and three girls. …Doesn’t that count as loving you?”
“O-Oh… wow. Y-You’ve thought that far ahead? T-That’s… yeah. That definitely sounds like love…”
“Right? Nothing’s changed. I love you.”
Heavy.
She’d already imagined that much of our future?
While I sat there, shaken by the sheer scale of the fanservice heroine’s imagination, Chloe Mitsushima leaned her head against my shoulder.
“W-Whoa—”
My entire body stiffened.
“Um… Chloe?”
“What?”
“D-Don’t you feel kind of different today? I mean… I don’t know, you seem… softer? More intense than usual…?”
“The one who changed is you. You said your heart hurts when I’m close, right? What about now?”
When she asked that, I finally became aware of the frantic pounding in my chest.
It was beating so violently it felt like it might explode.
Yeah… something was definitely wrong.
Before, whenever she was close to me, I felt calm.
Safe.
Almost drowsy from how comfortable it was.
But now it was the complete opposite.
Just seeing her.
Just catching her scent.
That alone was enough to make my heart spiral out of control.
In my past life, if my heart ever acted like this, it was a full-blown emergency.
I’d instantly be surrounded by more doctors and nurses than I could count on one hand.
Injections. IV drips.
Straight to intensive care.
As if proving that my body was genuinely on the verge of collapse, my fingertips turned cold.
My head grew fuzzy.
My blood pressure dropped.
In the white, hazy blur of my vision, I could almost clearly see the Sanzu River waiting for me.
The trauma from my previous life crawled back up my spine.
“S-Sorry… I really can’t…”
I stammered and turned my face away.
She stared at me intently.
“Hmph. So it wasn’t just my imagination.”
“Imagination? What do you mean? D-Do you know what kind of illness this is…?”
“There’s no way I’d say that out loud. …Anyway, Jeromiya.”
“W-What?”
When I finally managed to lift my face—
Chloe had spread her arms wide.
And for some reason, she was glaring at me with a sulky, puffed-up expression.
“Alright. Daily routine. Let’s do our love-confirmation hug.”
“…You’re saying that while fully aware of my current condition?”
I protested, a little irritated.
“My heart is seriously a trauma point for me… You’ve never seen the Sanzu River, have you? I’ve seen it multiple times. When my heart acts up, that river shows up crystal clear. If I hug you like this right now, I might actually die again after finally reincarnating…”
“What if I said I’d die if we don’t hug?”
“T-That’s…! I mean, I don’t want that. I want you to die after me, obviously. But if I die first, you wouldn’t like that either, right?”
As I mumbled that, she lowered her arms.
Then she suddenly stood up and walked behind me.
“Huh? What are you—?”
Before I could finish, she sat down right behind me and gently wrapped her arms around me from behind.
“H-Hey…!”
“If seeing my face is the problem, then this is better, right? Just shut up and feel the love.”
She clasped her hands together over my stomach and held me tight, pressing her body firmly against my back.
