I no longer want to be a part of this triangle! - Chapter 29- Abducted~1
The first thing Kazuki did, or more like he was urged to, was to reach Katori’s place where she invited him to show something important.
Kazuki had already warned that if this turned out to be some kind of joke, he was surely going to make Katori pay for it. However, the way she sounded severely serious, it was evident that she had some clue about the abductor.
The four teenagers reached Katori’s place and the girl instantly dashed inside her room to fetch the document file which she received from the perverted stalker.
Returning to the ground floor, she gave the file to Kazuki as she said, “I received this from someone who investigated Kohana, so he could hurt Kazuki.”
Kohta frowned, “Who is this creepy bastard?”
Katori shook her head, “That doesn’t matter, we should focus on what he found upon investigating Kohana’s past.”
Kohta nodded as he also began to look at the newspaper articles and personal information about Kohana…and someone unfamiliar.
The news article stated,
[The student of Himari Middle School was found missing. Upon investigation, it was found she was seen with her friend last time around the eastern sector park, and after that, there has been no evidence of the girl whatsoever.]
Kohta read the details of the other unfamiliar girl,
‘Name…Ishigami Riko…hmm…she is the same age as Kohana and used to live with her grandparents.’
Several things about Riko were disturbing.
Her parents were killed when the girl was only four years old, right in front of her eyes. After that, she began living with her grandparents until the age of thirteen when her aunt brought her to Tokyo.
It was said, that the girl had a very silent personality and seldom talked to anyone. However, when Kohta looked at her pictures with Kohana, in group photos and during festivals, it seemed the description was written about an entirely different girl.
In school, she didn’t have any friends other than Kohana and the most shocking part,
“She is the one who kidnapped Kohana a few years ago, as well!” Kazuki exclaimed as he read the handwritten article,
[The news was suppressed since Riko’s uncle is a politician, but through teachers, it was proven that Riko was behind Kohana’s disappearance. She forcibly kept Kohana in her house for three days before her aunt somehow found out that Riko was hiding Kohana in her cupboard.]
“C-Cupboard…” Emi’s voice shook, and her eyes widened as she read that part.
[After Riko was caught, she was sent to a different nation for treatment, and after that, Riko never appeared in Kohana’s life again.]
The side of the document file was clutched in Kazuki’s firm grip as he gritted his teeth in annoyance.
Such a tragedy befell Kohana, and he doesn’t even know about it.
He always thought that she was hiding something from him but he never insisted on knowing since he didn’t want to make her uncomfortable. But if he had known that there was someone out there so obsessively after Kohana, Kazuki wouldn’t have been so careless with her security.
“Kazuki…this isn’t the time to regret anything. We should find Kohana first.” Kohta stated as he rested his hand on his shoulder.
Kazuki slowly nodded and looked for Riko’s aunt’s residence.
“I have called a cab, let’s go,” Katori said as she opened the door for others.
Kazuki, along with the other three, boarded the taxi with Kohta in the front passenger seat and Emi between the other two.
As the car began to drive, Katori took out her phone and called someone. Soon the call got connected,
“Dad, I am sending you a picture and some details of a girl. She is kidnapped so drop whatever you are doing and search for her. Hmmm….yeah …okay. No, I am also going there so hurry up.”
Once Katori disconnected the call Kohta couldn’t help but ask, “Why did it sound like you just threatened your father?”
Katori shrugged, “Not like every day I ask for his help. And this is important.”
Kazuki couldn’t help but feel quite thankful for whatever Katori had done for him. Without her, he still might have been searching around fruitlessly.
Looking at Kohana’s picture from the middle school, Kazuki uttered under his breath,
“Just a little longer, Kohana. I will come to get you.”

Kohana was terrified. Curled in a corner, she looked at the girl who had traumatized her a few years ago, and until now, Kohana fears closed and dark places.
The mark on her hand, which she hides from the world and especially from her Senpai, was something she received from this crazy girl.
The only part of her past that she wasn’t able to reveal to her lover….and the worst thing that happened to Kohana.
Riko.
“Teehee~your fearful expression makes me excited, Ko-chan.” The brown-haired girl could be seen lying down in front of Kohana, with a smile of amusement on her face.
The light of the room was intentionally dimmed to keep Kohana terrified and only left with ample illumination so that Riko could look at Kohana’s lovely face.
“You lost some weight, Ko-chan. Must be because of your boyfriend, no?” Her smile widened when she said that, making Kohana shiver.
However, she steeled her nerves and spat, “That has nothing to do with you! I am leaving!”
She tried getting up, but her legs were so shaky that she barely was able to move a little up before falling down.
“What happened Ko-chan? Don’t wanna leave your dear friend alone? I know you don’t, so why don’t we play a game?”
Kohana frowned, and before she could have said anything, Riko said,
“I know I will get caught this time easily and truth be told, parting ways with my Ko-chan again is not something I want. So~~~~~” She suddenly picked a digital clock from her table and set the timer to thirty minutes,
Turning her crazed eyes back to Kohana, she gleefully said, “If your man can’t find you within half an hour…”
Bringing a knife near Kohana’s throat, Riko said,
“…we will both die together, kay?”
